Sirene Naiads Phact started to scream out again but stopped as he walked back, edging them on. He stood still a moment, thinking, knowing all too well this could be a complete trap. Yet Acrucis had trusted him enough to come after her with no harm met. It was that one meeting that made up her mind.
"We have to go after him." Phact whispered back to Shang as she slowly turned around. "Yes it sounds crazy and it could be a trap but he's the best lead we have. Besides..." Phact's eyes dropped to her hands as she opened them with the cross she had been keeping with her. "Acrucis trusts him..."
That was enough for her.
Looking to meet Shang's eyes, she nodded, hoping he would not leave her to do this alone. "We don't have much time. Let's go." Shaking slightly, Phact made the dive into the darkness after the General. Shang frowned at Phact not trusting the general and feeling like they were walking into a trap. He tried not to think of Maia and momentarily wished they were more evenly matched. He didn't think two against one meant anything and there could be others waiting to take them further down the hall. He called his weapon to him and clinched it tightly in his hand. He wouldnt be caught of guard. He quickly ran after Phact as she ran after the general hurrying to catch up. "Watch of for more obstacles Phact. We have more than just the negaverse to contend with." As he spoke he came right up to a ball bit, almost running right into it, but jumping at the last minute to clear it. At the same time he called a warning to Phact, "Jump." Up head was the mirror maze, where all the mirrors were shattered, but Shang could see the General just up ahead. "Acrucis," he shouted, "Acrucis." General Mica knew that something was stirring outside the walls of the room she had willingly confined herself to, but she wasn't exactly sure what. Periodically she'd hear her crystal chime with orders, questions, panicked voices that she swore never had to contend with a situation before. It was all quiet pathetic and she was beginning to see where Buddingtonite and Serpentine's concerns about the current state of affairs in the Negaverse went. So much disorder... did a prisoner escape? Were their allies mounting a brave rescue?
'I hope so...' Mica thought to herself with a silent sneer, looking towards the door for only a moment, satisfied to see it was secured for the time being, before returning to her charge. She had been more or less slaving over Acrucis for a few days now and she was beginning to feel as though she had been dragged into a futile struggle. No matter her efforts and her good work, the senshi was fading, and she was running out of supplies. Procuring more would have been easy, but it wasn't enough to keep her alive, and the worst part was that Mica found herself wanting to save her. Such a conflicting feeling, to care for an enemy, feeling compassion and fear on her inevitable demise here in this cold, dark prison cell, and trying to convince herself that it was all for Benitoite's sake or her duty as a medic was becoming increasingly difficult. She looked over Acrucis' vitals and felt... physically ill that she was only delaying the inevitable.
By the time she felt the Order auras peaking on her senses, her hands were shaking, and the moment she heard someone shouting for the senshi she was caring for, it all stopped, and she only felt relief. The enemy was here, and all doubts and concerns over this one's fate has slipped her mind. She summoned her spear and moved towards the door, preparing to defend herself and her patient... no, prisoner she reminded herself, teleporting behind the closed door and preparing her spear for the taste of blood once more. This was far easier... this was what she preferred. She almost wanted to thank the loud Squire, though she imagined that would have been somewhat awkward when she had struck him down. Mica ventured a few steps out to investigate, wondering which officer failed to keep their enemy at bay and how much she would enjoy tearing them a new one later...

He knew he was being followed, could feel it, and so he continued to lead them much like the pied piper had in that story from his childhood. Yes, come and follow me he thought as a smile tugged at his lips. Hair was brushed from his face as he slipped from shadow to shadow and let them just see glimpses of him, so they knew where he was and how far to continue. Over the broken glass, careful as could be, he waited for them to find where he was leading them. They would find the one they wanted, he would see to it, but he wanted to shout at the squire to shut up but he refrained from adding his voice to things - he would not allow himself to be figured out by anyone within the Negaverse. he already knew Mica would question him when this was all over and done with, how could she not? he had risked her position in the Negaverse and was showing too much caring for a senshi - it was all wrong and he knew it.
Shaking his head he could feel himself drawing closer, could feel the aura of his fellow General, and gave pause. He couldn't just bang on the door or let himself in. he would risk being stabbed as she no doubt had sensed the senshi and squire that were following him. she would no doubt be ready to kill them and might by accident stab him, not something he cared to deal with. He didn't need to become wounded in the process of helping another - it would be hell to explain to many.
He had listened to Mica all these days, he knew how hopeless it seemed for Acrucis, even after he'd brought her medicine and stolen things for Mica to use on her, but this was the best shot she had and she was important to him and could help them, the Negaverse, in a future battle and thus he needed her alive!
Growling to himself he shook his head viciously as he shoved his own personal worries to the side and lead the way to the room which held her and Mica and made sure to step out of the shadows just before opening the door. "It's me." His whisper, his voice low as he spoke for only Mica to hear.
"The senshi and knights have come, they have a good number of them and they are looking to free the captives." Slate eyes flickered to the senshi of prayer. "We can't move her. We should go out and join in the fight." Leave her, they would find her. he couldn't say that but it's what was going through his mind. he had just led them to her now he just needed to get Mica away or in some way handle the other general. he couldn't allow for a confrontation. "To move her would risk her life...she's too rough, as you've said. I can stay if you wish and you can fight - I'm sure your looking for a few good fights.' he hoped she would take the bait, not see through what he was doing, but he also knew she might not want to leave this battle she had been waging either. This wold not be easy - but what good and right things ever were easy?

The warning was just in time. Phact was only inches away from the edge of the ball pit when she launched herself forward. The white senshi made the jump but her landing really needed some work.
Coming down on one foot, Phact stumbled forward. Unable to catch her balance, the senshi face planted.
Wincing as she came up, the senshi reached forward and grabbed onto Shang's clothing. "Shang, hush." Phact finally warned as she got to her feet. "We don't want to draw more attention to ourselves. If he is going to fight us, one is going to be enough to worrt about."
Catching the man's eye, she nodded and walked forward, following the General. Phact hated this. She wanted to lay eyes on Acrucis as much as the man next to her. Get the woman out of here and into the required treatment. They had a small window to work...there was no time!
And then Phact felt it. The direction they were heading had another strong aura coming from it.
"Acrucis is priority." Phact stated, for both of them. Shang was stronger and more important to save her sister. If it was needed, Phact would act as the distraction.

Shang looked to Phact when she grabbed onto his clothes and shushed him. He frowned, but otherwise nodded and tried to keep the utter irritation off his face. He sighed and turned back to where he last spotted the general feeling the same aura's Phact was, but it was hard to tell with so many other's in area. It felt a little muddled, still the strong ones were the closest.
"Yes, that she is. Let's get her out of here. I think he went up ahead, in that room. I have go in first and you can cover me. I've got my weapon to catch any attacks in case this is trap."
He wanted to call to Acrucis again, in case she was awake, to let her know they were coming. He just wanted to find her and get her to the hospital. Treat her and pray she would be okay. He didn't care if he had to go through the whole negaverse to do it, but Phact was right and he didn't want to endanger her or Acrucis further.
Shang moved forward toward the door, weapon poised to go on the offensive if need be.

Mica was ready to strike, perhaps even eager, but the sound of Benitoite voice was definitely a relief to her. Despite the heavy spear she carried and the blood that soaked it's fine blade, she wasn't completely blood thirsty, or at least not for the moment. Despite the sounds of activity going on in the rest of the complex, her priority was Acrucis, and knowing it was a loyal Negaverse officer on the other end caused her guard to drop for the moment.
On a normal day, she might have questioned him further from behind the closed door, or perhaps if it was anyone else, she would have been more suspicious. But being that it was Benitoite, as well as the fighting growing more violent by the second in the short distance, she found herself relying purely on instincts now. She stepped back to let him in and once he was inside, her eyes flicked between him and Acrucis only, never once noticing or sensing that there might have been others nearby.
"Figured someone would drop the ball eventually," Mica said, in lieu of the news that their enemy were upon them. Not that she really needed Benitoite to tell her that- she could clearly sense a lot of them and hear them, and that was beginning to concern her. She looked over their patient slash captive and couldn't deny Benitoite's concerns. Abandoning this senshi was both easy and difficult for her, and though she would never admit it, she was thankful for Benitoite for bringing up the matter instead of her. As a senshi, she would have preferred to simply end her life, but as a patient, leaving her was far more difficult than she thought it would be. For once, she felt useful, and to willingly walk away from that... sent her so many conflicting emotions, none of which she was prepared for. "Probably that loud mouth Buddingtonite. The fool... it would figure I'd have to clean up his mess."
Still, she couldn't help but feel some suspicion in her heart and it had nothing to do with Buddingtonite. Instead, it had everything to do with Benitoite offering to stay behind, and now, she couldn't hide that feeling from her gaze, as she all but glared at him. He seemed so intent on getting rid of her, so much as to goad her on, or was he simply looking for some alone time with his precious senshi? The fight that escalated from their position demanded her attention, but she couldn't leave just yet, she told herself. She spoke softly, despite knowing that only Benitoite could hear her as Acrucis was unconscious. "You know I do, however, allow me to offer you some of my doctorly concerns before I leave. I'm worried about you, my fellow general... the amount of care you display for this White moon senshi is concerning, and if I were you, I'd have an excuse prepared for our General Sovereigns as to why you felt she was more important than assisting your fellow officers. You'll have to work extremely hard to convince him that she's worth more than the lives of your fellow officers..."
And what she wanted to add was that he would have to work harder to convince her, but she refused to let the words out. Benitoite was plotting something, but Mica had no time to dig into it and the idea of threatening him was out of the question. She looked over Acrucis and brushed her hand over the senshi's hand, making it seem that she was merely checking her IV and not that she was offering her some kind of reassurance of her return. She would never admit that she'd miss her, not to Benitoite or to the enemy, and she summoned her spear and moved towards the door.
"Lock the door behind me and let no one through, general," she said, pushing the door open and the moment she passed through, she teleported away, not even waiting for the door to close. Had she done so, she might have noticed that she wasn't alone in the hallway, but her mind was simply on leaving before she could allow a single shred of emotion towards the senshi she cared for to slip for Benitoite and the interlopers to see.

He was not surprised by Mica's words, he'd have been a fool to think she'd say nothing. He was only lucky she was not out right accusing him of betraying his side, of helping the opposition. She had, at this point in time, more than enough reason to call him out and accuse him of betraying their side and perhaps even posing the question of him having given up their hiding location. He knew it would get enough people behind Mica if she were to bring this up in front of their fellow officers and their higher ups. It was enough to get him taken in and questioned or just outright killed with no care given. He'd given so much that a nose could be made for him and he knew it - god did he knew it.
"I don't know how gave us up, unless they somehow got lucky - which I doubt very much." He answered. No, it wasn't likely that the senshi and knights had gotten this lucky. Someone had slipped with the information, whether on purpose or someone had been overheard talking to someone else. It didn't matter how it got out anyway, not at this point, the cat was out of the bag and there was no way of shoving it back into the bag.
"I appreciate your worry and concern, Mica." She was a General like him, and he could cal lher that, but he'd think right now they were closer than that. "Yes, I know my...care is troubling. Trust me when I say that it troubles me as well. But she is useful. I wish to cultivate her trust and care for us. I cannot corrupt her, not yet at any rate. If I break the trust she has in me...I fear she would not help us even while on our side - a waste of power and a waste of space...simply a number and nothing more. One more member on our side and another useless one. I've already had officers, people I've turned, that have vanished and I've not seen nor heard from. I will not have that happen again." He shook his head while his arms came up to cross over his chest, his nose pointing up into the air making him seem larger than he really was. "If I can keep her as is I will do so for as long as possible - so long as she will serve us as well as she serves her side. It is better than gifting her our power and her not using it for anyone. One day the time to bring her to our side may come...but it is not now nor has the time come yet. If....if I must answer to our superiors I will tell them this - do not worry for me Mica. I know what I do and I seek to help our side to the best of my ability. Having a senshi with her power on our side will help us, even if she wears another uniform for now." His words were true, at least most of them. he had no intentions of corrupting this senshi who lay on the ground unconscious. He had ever intention of allowing her to remain a white moon senshi. but her usefulness was there no matter what uniform she wore and all because she was so loving - no matter the side.
Watching Mica check the IV he smiled lightly at the sight. Mica had really done him a favor, putting herself at risk, in order to help him with something she may not support, may not believe, and certainly didn't know the fullness of. He owed her and he knew she was aware of it. "Thank you - Mica. I owe you." He spoke before clasping a gloved hand onto her shoulder. "I will, be careful. I would be upset to lose a General like you." A smile, something friendly, as he gave her shoulder a squeeze. The door, which should have been closed and locked, was left open a crack as the General waited for the knight and the senshi to come to collect their fallen senshi of prayer. He trusted both enough, to want to free her quickly, that he was sure he was safe enough to turn his back on the door. making his way to Acrucis he dropped to the ground and pressed his fingers to her cheek gently. "Soon. They're on their way...just hold on - you don't have permission to die." he whispered harshly into her ear.
