Welcome to the Vanaras ORP for the plot For the Herd.

In this roleplay, Calixte and Kenton will announce that they are having foals for the herd. They are looking for the herd members' reactions, which they hope will be positive, but will range from supportive to downright outraged.

How This Will Work:

Overview of the events of the RP: Calixte and Kenton will talk by themselves for a moment or two, and then call everyone within hearing distance to the gathering tree. Once everyone has arrived (familiars will be sent out to find those who are absent), they will make their big announcement - that she is carrying foals that are meant to be children for the herd's benefit, to lighten the atmosphere and bring in some foal-like fun. Cali will finish the speech with something like a hope for the future and the herd's acceptance of them, and then it'll be time to open it up for comments.

Instructions for the players: After Cali and Kenton have had their moment of alone time, Kenton will call a gathering at the gathering tree and Calixte will send out familiars to fetch those not within hearing range. I will quote the owners of the soquili who were volunteered in the herd thread, and the RP will be open for your ponies to greet each other as everybody gathers. After a few moments of IC time (probably 10-15 posts so everyone is present), when things have quieted down, either Cali or Kenton will begin the announcement. Because it's an official announcement, I expect there to be some modicum of polite silence, but if somebody is truly outraged, they are definitely free to make a post thinking it, acting it out (stalking off, for example), or interrupting or cutting off the end of the announcement. Cali and Kenton may do the announcement in turns, so there will be a bolded OoC indicator when the announcement is over and commenting is officially open. Once that has happened, your soquili may talk amongst themselves and ask questions of Kenton and Cali and give them feedback. We are looking for every kind of reaction, so please don't worry about posting the wrong thing. After the talk has kind of trailed off, I will close the RP to new posts by members, and Kenton and Cali will have their own reactions to the herd's feedback.

For those who would like to join: If this sounds like a fun plot that you would like your Cerynei to be a part of (or if you're looking for stats this month and possibly February), please post here to let us know that you will be joining us. This can be a temporary membership just for this RP, a semi-permanent membership for a few other RPs, or a permanent membership. The Vanaras is not a roleplay-required herd, so you are also welcome to join without RP. If you do not have a Cerynei but would like to be a part of this, you may use a soquili that has claimed Cerynei heritage but has no visible traits, or you may use a familiar.

Setting: Autumn in the Herdlands. The Herdlands encompass a large area of the plains; the borders are defined by the edge of a forest on one side and a river on the opposite. A great tree stands in the center, shading the place where the herd's totem stands proudly, representing the grace, strength, and beauty of the Cerynei breed.

Players Involved:
Calixte (Mahogany Sunset), Kenton (sbuggy166), Wicked Treat (Roarie Desu), Lynnea (Mahogany Sunset), Crystaea (Amirynth), Niall (Mahogany Sunset, temporary member). NPCs: Jewel & Brock, lifemated but on opposite sides of the issue (Mahogany Sunset). Familiars: Oke, Adrastos, Saffron (Mahogany Sunset).
User Image User Image User Image User Image User Image User Image
Jewel and Brock are both deer-like naturals who came from the Cerynei Lands; Jewel has fawn dapples and green eyes, and Brock has several black tribal tattoos on his shoulders that were bestowed upon him by the Kawani natives. Both are maneless, and they are lifemated. Jewel stands in support but Brock is against it.

Calixte paced back and forth before the meeting tree, doing her best not to scuff up the ground any more than it already had been. The tree was a steadying presence for her when she wasn't in the forest, and right now, she needed steady. Kenton was nearby, of course, but nature... There was something about a tree that grounded her and took her home again. After a moment, she gave up her pacing and leaned her shoulder into the cool bark and closed her eyes.

Just for a moment, she stood with her sisters to welcome another into their midst, one that still stood only to shoulder height, a filly in truth, with leafy hair and long ears and a doe tail just like the rest of them. We will love you as a mother does a child, and keep you safe until you have grown to know the ways, they had told the filly. And your forest will love you as a child does a mother, for you will keep it safe until it comes time for you to pass into the next life, when it will be grown strong enough to sustain itself. There was wisdom in the words, and with a deep breath, Calixte tried to take it from them, to learn it from them. Someone will always be looking to you. Keep them safe. The tiny heaviness in her abdomen pulled slightly at the thought, and she opened her eyes.

The Herdlands stretched out before her, the long grass flowing golden where it had not been tamped down by cloven hooves. They were hooves that belonged to those she had come to know as her people, and she hoped they would be her foals' people, as well. Foals were happy news, after all, especially in such prosperous times. The herd was thriving; they had found a spot to call their own, a beautiful place with water and comfort and a forest that she could run off to when she needed to relax. She could soak up nature, revel in it, care for the forest when she found sick plants or squirrels. And she had her herd. It was as much a family as she had ever known, and she and Kenton (and Fayearan, at least in secret) were about to add to it.

Standing up again, Cali denied the nerves crackling under her skin. Foals were a blessing. The herd would be happy to have them, she was sure; she had done this for them, to bring joy, to bring cheer. Now all there was to do was to announce it, but first, she had to find Kenton. Craning her neck and swiveling her ears, she looked for him, trying not to squint in the morning sunlight. Was he still on patrol? Or was he up to something else? She lost track sometimes, didn't pay attention like she should - but she was trying to keep it together. Though she had done what she had for good reasons, it still gnawed at her, and keeping the foals' true father a secret, as they meant to, was nagging at her in the back of her mind. Even so, Kenton was her mate. She should keep better track of him than this, especially if they were going to be raising foals together... But perhaps that would come with having foals. Maybe there would be an instinct, some kind of knowing thing, where she kept track of him even when she wasn't putting her mind to it. She would have to know, after all. She would need him, more than she already did now. And by the gods, she needed him now. Nerves sang under her skin, and Cali tried to tell herself it was just the fact that she would be telling the whole herd something, not the content of the message, that had her worked up.

But when she saw Kenton walking toward her across the field, she felt herself relax. Look to him, she told herself. He will keep you safe.

Kenton Stood at the rivers edge and watched as the sun slowly began to greet the sky. Morning was his favorite time to go on patrol. Everything was just so peaceful and still, and it meant that he got to spend the day with Cali. Sure there were always random calls that had him busy during the day, but he tried his hardest to spend time with his mate.

He took in a deep breath of the morning air and shook his head of proud antlers. It was about time for him to get back. He had almost finished patrol, just the stretch along the forest and he would be done. He took a swig of the river to refresh himself and then continued on his way.

As Kenton moved through the plains he could not help but feel a growing sense of pride. This was his land, well technically it was their land, but it was because of him and Cali that his land was secure. He remembered back to the day he first met her. It was odd to think that one chance meeting by a river side, one kind act to help a stranger, would lead to the creation of a herd. The creation of their herd. She had been so excited and willing to start a Cerynie herd, and sometimes Kenton wondered if he was just swept up in her momentum, or if this was really something good that they should do. Starting a herd is no easy thing, and Kenton was not a natural leader type. He liked his alone time, and he liked the simple things in life. He was a strong Cerynie stag and should be able to explore forests and roam mountains and clash antlers with other stags. Those had been his initial thoughts, but Cali changed that all. She made him want to do more than just be a stag. Sure he was still no leader or clan alpha or anything like that, but he was the herds Protector. It was the perfect balance for him. He got to explore the forest and chase off predators like a strong stag should, but at the end of the day he gets to return to the herd, and to his mate, and it was just great.

As he came around the bend of trees on the edge of the plains he saw the home tree standing proud and tall. It's branches reached high into the sky, inspiring stags everywhere to grow antlers just as strong. At the base of the tree he could make out Cali. Her golden mane glimmered a bit as it caught the morning sun. He smiled and admired the sight for she was pretty, no more than just that. Right now in the light, she was stunning.

Kenton picked up his pace to a light trot and called out to her. "Good morning fare mare, the boarders are clear and the sky is bright!" He was in such a good mood right now. Today was going to be a great day!

Cali couldn't help but smile and let out a little laugh at Kenton's greeting, and the anxiety that tingled through her went quiet for just a moment before it started up again. He was proud and strong as ever, with that easy charm that made her worries melt away for a moment. But the weight in her belly made her remember her worries, and suddenly she wished she was leaning against her tree again. "Good morning to you, and that is good news," she called back, though her smile diminished when she had to keep herself from saying my love. Their commitment was not common knowledge; it wasn't something they had told the herd yet. The foals were the herd's, after all - Kenton would be their foster father, the other main figure in their lives, but for now, their lifemating was a secret. It was their secret, and considering that she was about to give her biggest secret away, it made the secret of their lifemating all the more precious to her. Still, the fact that she could not sing it to the plains for anyone to hear was not yet second nature, and she had to tamp down every impulse as it rose up in her.

When he was close enough to touch, Cali brushed her nose to his neck for a fleeting moment, letting the warmth of the contact spread through. You can do this, she told herself. No matter what happens, he will keep you safe. His deep brown coat and golden eyes were glossy and reassuring in the sunlight, and Cali nodded to convince herself that he would stand by her. With a deep breath, she asked, "Is the time right for this?" For a moment, she glanced back toward the tree; Oke was asleep in the shade on the other side. The cub knew nothing of her secret, though he knew that she was announcing something today, and had agreed to do his best to be quiet in the face of it, no matter what it was. If he had doubts or questions, she could answer them for him later. "Are you ready?" Am I ready?

Kenton gave her a fleeting kiss on her head as they greeted, and smiled at her likewise fleeting touch. He welcomed these little showings of affection and even looked forward to them. It was all he really had to hold onto till the time they could wander off into the woods on a midnight stroll when no one was around. Their secret mating was not really in line with his standards. He is the kind of stag who feels a strong connection to a single mare and feels pride in letting others know that they are a mated pare. In this case though, it was best to swallow that feeling. They started the herd together, but that should have nothing to do with their high positions. Her as the Mistress of ceremonies, and him as the herd's Protector were titles that they had earned. He did not want others thinking that it was because they had benefits or played favorites. One day he would be able to stand with Cali, but that would not be today. Sure they were making an announcement today, but it was of a different nature entirely.

Cali asked if the time was right. Kenton looked into her eyes, and then turned and looked out across the plains. He could see several herd members moving about their daily tasks. Some by the river, some still sleeping. This was a good home that they had come to, and it had a lot of good members living in it. Now it was time to give something back to those who lived here. He turned back to Cali and flashed her a big grin. He was excited but was trying to hold it back. Cali was most likely nervous, after all she had a lot more riding on this decision than him. He gave her a nod and said, "Better to do it now than to do it when you are already showing." He chuckled and then gave her another quick kiss on the head. "I am ready, and don't worry! Who doesn't love foals?"

Feeling her cheeks warm beneath her green coat with each touch of his lips, Calixte nodded to him. "Who doesn't love foals?" she repeated, and used his words to bolster her resolve. She was beginning to show a little bit, growing slightly rounder in her abdomen, but she was hoping that the herd members had blamed it on grass and complacency if they had noticed at all. "All right." Putting on a for-show smile, Cali squared her shoulders. More than just the herd depends on you now, she reminded herself. The reception of these foals was her responsibility, too. And she had to look more happy than nervous about it. Foals are a blessing, the herd will love them. All she had to do was be honest: the father of the foals was to remain a secret, and the foals were a gift to the herd. They had been blessed.

"Will you call a gathering?" she asked, keeping her gaze on him as she walked over to the side of the tree. "I'll get the blessed ones to find those who are outside of the range of hearing." Giving Kenton one last nod, Cali sucked in a deep breath and walked all the way round the edge of the tree. Nudging her little blue companion with a hoof, Cali leaned down to his level so he wouldn't have to blink up at her and into the sunlight. Once his eyes had opened, she smiled softly at him. "Oke, would you find a few others and gather the Vanaras who are in the woods and down by the river? There might be some who are still asleep, too. We are calling that meeting."

User Image User Image User Image

Nodding sleepily, Oke groaned as he got to his feet. Don't forget, you're supposed to be nice and quiet. "All right, Mama," he said, brushing his cheek against her leg as he passed, half in sleepy clumsiness and half in affection. "I'll get the bird 'n' the fox." Stumbling along and blinking back the fluid that had gathered in his eyes during his sleep, Oke set his sights on the places where he knew the two must be hanging out - the songbird in the turning autumn leaves of the tree above, and the fox in the grass nearby. They were all of them messengers of the herd when the actual messengers were sleeping or busy or whatever it was the big deer did when they were off duty.

Gazing up at the tree above him, he let out a growl and saw beady eyes blink open in the dim sunlight that shone through the foliage. "Bird, Mama's calling a meeting, go get the deer in the forest. And find the fox, get him to get the sleepy deer." I'll get the ones by the river. And maybe breakfast.

Saffron ruffled his feathers off and buzzed his wings a bit, annoyed that the fluffy blue bear still called him Bird, rather than calling him by his true name. It wasn't hard. It was the name of a plant, after all. A rare plant, but a plant. His bond was part tree or something, so he should know what saffron was. Whistling a little, he took off, finding Adrastos in the field not too far from the tree, watching a cricket clamber along a blade of grass. Saffron snatched it up and swallowed it whole. "Vanaras are calling a meeting," he chirped. "Go find the ones in the nesting grounds." Not speaking a word more to the fox's astonished, open mouth, Saffron flitted off for the forest.

Trying not to lash out at the stupid bird that stole his toy, Adrastos grumbled off toward the nesting grounds to find the Cerynei that were still asleep..

User ImageWatching the cascade of activity as the familiars took off, Caixte put her show smile back on and went back around the tree to stand next to Kenton. Too late to turn back now, but they will find out no matter what you do. With another deep breath, she tried to center herself, standing as close to Kenton's side as she dared, her fur just barely brushing against his. "I am ready," she said, mostly to herself. After a moment, she blinked up at Kenton, his proud antlers standing strong above his head. Grace, strength, and beauty, she reminded herself. The qualities of your breed. They would be the qualities that she shared with her foals, that they shared with their foals, someday... And they were the qualities that these foals would share with the herd. We are one.

Kenton smiled at Cali and then took a large draw of air to fuel his voice.

"VANARAS MEETING. THE HOME TREE BECKONS TO YOU. VANARAS HERD MEETING. COME TO THE GREAT TREE."

Roarie Desu

Amirynth

He bellowed the call at least twice more and ten caught his breath. Nudging Cali he murmured, "There, if that doesn't wake them then nothing will." The time had come at last to bring new life to the herd. This would be a big day for them all and Kenton was beaming from ear to ear. Who doesn't love foals? He could just picture it now, little hooves in the new grass, happy faces all around, giggles, hearty laughs, this was going to be great. Being a family man at heart Kenton was thrilled to see foals running around again. Sure they may not be sired by him, but he would be their father and that is all that mattered. Kenton loved being a father and missed it dearly. His first time as a father was not quite as long lived as he hoped it would be and he was determined to make this time different. This time he had a whole herd to support him and Cali and to help raise the foals. He watched as the deer folk emerged from their nests and stopped their chores to come to the great tree. This was it. It was time to start a new chapter of his life...Of their lives.

User Image The call to a herd meeting and the little bird that ferried it found Lynnea in the forest, picking blackberries as carefully as she could, all too aware of the pain that wound come from pricking her lips on the thorns. They were tiny things, hiding in scarce patches of sun down at ground level among the grasses of the forest floor, begging the creatures that lived there to eat them. Even though they were hard to find and fading fast, Lynnea took her basket back to the small clearing at the edge of the forest, where she and the other gatherers stored their things and sorted the plants and fruits and anything else they could find. When she got there, she found Jewel, a mare who had been welcomed to the herd as a nanny, but who had turned to gathering when no new foals had been born during the summer. She and her lifemate, Brock, had confided to being long unsuccessful when it came to producing foals of their own, and Jewel, at least, had joined the herd so she might see more of them. It had not yet come to pass, though.

Greeting the mare with a nod and a smile, Lynnea let her lead the way to the meeting tree; they walked together and on their way, found Brock - a stag with such bold dark tattoos that they still jarred Lynnea every time she saw them. Finishing the last stretch, Lynnea gave Calixte a soothing smile - the mare's own seemed toobig for her face, but Lynnea did not think that Calixte would appreciate her saying so.

Tail wiggling a bit, Lynnea anxiously awaited the news with Jewel to her right and Brock nearby on Jewel's other side, standing protectively over her even when there was no danger.

User Image Niall took a slow sip from the river, quenching his morning thirst. He was an early riser, but not so early as those who were already at work for the morning; Lynnea had disappeared from her nest near to his before he had even woken. Jewel and Brock had been missing from theirs, as well. His chores for the day were easy: he might just be staying for a week or two to learn about his breed, but that didn't mean he couldn't go on patrol. He was as large a stag as they came, bigger but far more clumsy than even the oldest in this herd. Born on the plains in solitude, though, he knew little of his own breed, and he'd stumbled upon the Vanaras on his wanderings through the area.

A growl made him raise his head, and Niall saw the blue bear that was Calixte's companion a few yards from him. Oke, he reminded himself. Its name is Oke, and it's a gentle creature. He had barely believed it when he had met the big cub a while ago - he had never met a tame bear before. Blessed, they called them, spirit-touched. Still, he couldn't help but jump when he saw the bear standing beside him.

The creature flicked its ears and shook its head at him before wading into the shallows of the river. It was supposed to be a vegetarian, but fish was part of its diet, and it did not smell any better for it. After a moment, it seemed to remember that it had forgotten something, and turned back to Niall, informing him in its thick voice that there was a meeting being called.

Shivering a little as the cub turned back to stare into the river, Niall turned toward the tree. A herd meeting? There had not been one since a few weeks ago, when he had been introduced to the herd. That had been a... flustering experience, but it had been for a good reason: he would be recognized, at least for the few weeks he was here, and not accidentally called an intruder. Time to see what's going on, I suppose, Niall thought, trotting toward the meeting tree.

When he got there, Lynnea and the lifemated pair had already arrived; he stood on Brock's other side, trying to hide the little bit of intimidation he felt from the stallion. Brock was far more fierce than Niall was, and knew his body better, too - Niall had never seen him stumble. He could be raucous and jolly, but mostly he was quiet, keeping watch over Jewel. With a nod to each of the three and the leaders in turn, Niall spoke a hesitant, "Good morning," and tried to avoid clacking antlers with anyone.

Crystaea was watching her young daughter on the outskirts of the territory when she was visited by one of the many messenger familiars. The small fox came in close, alerting the mother/daughter pair of it's presence before gesturing towards the clearing that was often used for a meeting. "Adrastos right? Ok, we will be arriving. I just need to be gathering these last few things." The mare gestured towards the flowers she had been carefully uprooting. Some had healing properties while others were fragrant. Each needed to be dried before they could be used, something she had planned on preparing for this afternoon. Guess that can wait for a bit. she thought to herself. Calling her daughter in to help, she watched as Sarynae picked her way slowly across the glade. She had done all she could to make sure no one realized her daughter was blind, the last thing she wanted was for the herd to consider her a liability. Crys reached out her tail so that Sarynae could use it as a guide like she always did. The flowers could wait.

Hearing her mother call her, the young mare moved carefully towards where she knew her mother would be. She could hear the grass change to dirt as she reached the path that would lead back to the herd's central regions. With a resolute sigh she nudged the tail she felt close to her chest to let her mother know she was ready. Sari knew the area well having grown up here but still pretended she needed help so that her mother would be content with feeling needed. While she was still very much a foal in experience, Sari knew more than she let on. The advantage with listening to the world was that she paid attention to the things that were implied rather than what was actually spoken. Taking a few steps forward, Sarynae followed Crys toward the meeting place.

Following the fox, both mother and daughter reached the small gathering. Crystaea looked around at the ones who had arrived before her and nodded a greeting. She flicked her daughter softly with her tail tip and Sari nodded a vague greeting as well.

Niall nodded back to the mares approaching - a mare named Crystaea and her daughter, Sari...Sari something. Groaning inwardly to himself, Niall gave the younger mare a weak smile and settled on a greeting for both of them, to make sure he didn't trip up. he would have to remember her name eventually, but he just hoped that he would not seem as clumsy of mind as he so often seemed of body. "Good morning, ladies," he said, and just to be safe, he turned his head to the right, where Lynnea and Jewel stood on Brock's other side. Much to his surprise, Jewel had craned her head over Brock's back to look at him. Her delicate features contrasted oddly with the thick tattoos on the stallion's shoulders.

Her voice was sweet when she bid him a good morning, and Lynnea followed suit; after a moment of silence from Brock, Niall hurriedly added an extra nod for the stallion beside him, and then a deeper one to the leaders standing before him. Brock rumbled out an acknowledgment beside him, but after that, went back to standing quietly.

Shifting a bit nervously, Niall turned back to the blue mares beside him. They seemed extremely close for a mother daughter pair, but perhaps that was just his paradigm; he had grown up without family, after all, so most relationships seemed quite close to him. Still, as evidenced by their attachment when they arrived and the tiny flick that Crystaea had given her daughter, they seemed rather closer than most families he had come across, at last in a tactile manner. Shrugging to himself, Niall let it go. "how long have the pair of you been with the herd?" he asked, gritting his teeth at how pathetically small his small talk was.

Diantha had been playing with a little squirrel that she had found that morning. She was laying on the ground and rolling a pine cone back and forth between them and laughing when the squirrel would roll around with the cone before pushing it back to her. She heard a fluttering of wings and looked up to see Saffron coming over to her. "Oh hello little one! Is everything ok?" She asked as she got to her feet. She smiled and listened to him and he said there was a meeting by the Great Tree. She nodded to him and watched him flit off to find others and she smiled at the squirrel. "Sorry little one i must be off to see the others. There is something happening!" she said with a smile as she headed off towards the tree.

Mahogany Sunset

She was wondering what was happening, things had been quite here for a while and there had been no new children for her to teach or watch over and she had been growing restless. She had taken to wandering further into the forest, just inside their borders but wanting to see more. She knew she was not the most beautiful or exciting to look at female in the herd but she hoped that maybe she would find someone who liked her on her little explorations. She had always longed to be beautiful and cared for as more then just a trusted member of the herd. She knew that baby sitting and teaching the herd was important and helpful for everyone but she always dreamed of the day when she could raise her own babies hopefully with a loving male at her side to help her.

Walking up to the tree she nodded in greeting to everyone there. "Good morning everyone. I hope all is well and that there is nothing to worry about on such a fine pretty day." she said as she flicked her tail at an annoying fly and smiled as she looked over everyone.

"A while now..." Crys kept her answer short for the moment, still preoccupied with the meaning of the meeting. When she had arrived, heavy with child, she had been taken in because there was no where else to go and she could not travel safely anymore with the baby due so close. They had helped with the delivery and placed Sari within the baskets as was customary which had prevented her from leaving any sooner. After she had found out about her daughters... impairment it had been another reason to stick around. Time had passed and now Sari had grown. Crystaea was still unsure how she was going to travel with her daughter in tow. It wasn't she didn't care for Sarynae but... it was getting much more difficult to keep her lack of sight a secret. Twitching her tail slightly to remove that train of thought from her mind, Crys focused her attention on the stallion. "And you are?"

She could sense a few others gathered around her, all of them familiar smells, full of comfort. Settling close to her mother's side, Sari caught the small, scattered, conversations from the few pairs and used them to place everyone's locations. When the stallion spoke to her mother she pricked her ears forward, curious to find out who they were conversing with. She could tell he was familiar but he had definitely not been around for as long as the others, his signature was fresher to her. Sarynae had not had a chance to talk with him herself so had never found out his name.

Nodding to the newcomer - a pink and yellow mare, as bright in appearance as she was in personality - Niall gave her a smile. "Morning, Diantha," he said, shooting a nervous glance at the leaders standing before them. Hopefully she was right and the news would be neutral, or even good; bad news would probably mean his departure. He did not yet know this herd or its ways well enough to help defend it without being a burden. "I hope the same."

Turning back to Crystaea, Niall tried to keep the smile on his face. The mare seemed rather reserved, but beside her, her daughter's ears flicked forward. "I call myself Niall," he said, as he always did when someone asked. He had not been named when he'd come out of his basket. He had had no parents to have done so; he had simply been alone, so he had found a combination of sounds that he liked and used them when he talked to himself. And now it was time to admit his mistake - not catching Crystaea's daughter's name. "I apologize - I didn't get your daughter's name." He looked at the young mare as he spoke, but he wasn't sure she quite met his eyes. Still, it was impolite not to at least partly address her when he talked about her, right?

Dia smiled at the male and looked around at all those gathered there. He seemed nice, she had seen him around but had never really talked or interacted with him before. But everyone kind of knew the spirited and excitable adult that was Diantha....player with the children when there had been some and lover of all things animal. If she wasn't talking to someone she was talking to something, butterflies or birds or squirrels. She liked to make friends and did so easily if they didn't find her behavior annoying. "It is nice to see you formally. And i think that its good news. Today is too pretty for there to be bad news. It just feels like a good news kind of day." she said with a smile as her eyes wandered over to look at the mother and daughter near by as well.

They were new, she didn't remember meeting them before. She smiled brightly and pranced a little closer, but not close enough to upset them if they wanted some space from her. "Hello! I didn't get either of your names but since he asked for your daughters then may i ask for yours as well? I am massively in love with both of your hair! And your scales! So pretty! My name is Diantha! Its wonderful to meet new people!" she said with a giggle. She kept her hair short for the most part cause she did so much she was always getting it messed up and tangled if she left it long.
