____Covers and Mashups
xxxxx[ Laire loves to sing. She also loves to do covers of her favorites from the radio, or make song mashups. Any and all, she records and posts to YouTube. She's definitely got dreams of being a pop or folk singer some day, and is pretty quick to accept critique on her performances to try and better herself as a performer. She does take Choir in school, but the idea of a solo career someday is way too tempting. ]
____Renaissance Faires
xxxxx[ Themed faires in general excite her--she's been to some of the local Highland Games when her dad does a booth!--but Renaissance Faires delight her to no end. Her dad runs a booth to sell his metal crafts--from hand crafted pendents with or without precious stones, to furniture welding projects, and while Laire knows extremely little about his processes or techniques to help sell the goods to prospective buyers... she's more than happy to explore the rest of the faire grounds. The costumes get her the most, along with the different actors and performances. The games? The songs? The food? It's one of the few times she feels like people aren't staring at her because there's so many more interesting things around. She does think it'd be fun to perform some folk songs at a faire, but at this point hasn't gotten the nerve for it, or the rest of a folk band to actually make it more authentic. ]
____Closet Romantic
xxxxx[ If she's got her nose in a book, it's easy money to bet it's a romance. Not a bodice ripper though--or at least nothing she'd ever admit to owning if that even were the case--but classic tales of love, hate, and love triangles all told and encountered in the halls of high school. Laire certainly had a specific view of what her teenage years would be like due to YA books, and while none of it seems to be remotely true--much to her wistful sorrow--she still loves to slip away and curl up with her various YA fantasy, scifi, or even books that tip-toe towards horror.]
____Chasing Stars
xxxxx[ Laire collects star motif things like most other people breath air. It's everywhere in her clothes, jewelry, hair accessories, bedroom decor, stationary... everything she can get her hands on, really. She has an obvious love of the twinkling night sky, and keeps up to date on everything she can related to astronomy and astrology.]

xxxxx[ Cautious, lordy lordy does this girl have the word stamped across her forehead. While she's not necessarily waiting for the sky to fall on her head, she's the last person to run into anything without checking the weather on her phone, triple-checking plans and maps, re-checking the weather (second source), and trying to coax everyone to be at some designated point at least thirty minutes before say... a movie starts. While Laire is rarely late, she can be a bit too early and have the uncomfortable awkwardness of trying to occupy herself while waiting for her appointments or events to start. She's also the one to always have a mini first aid kit in her purse, an umbrella, and extra chargers and batteries for whatever. Never know what you'll need! ]
____More Honey than Vinegar, Always
xxxxx[ While she won't bake cookies randomly for people--I mean unless they ask...?--Laire will always have a smile and good word for anyone she speaks to. If someone punched her she'd likely ask if they'd caught themselves somehow on her jewelry and if they're ok. While that's never happened... point is. The old saying, "you catch more flies with honey than vinegar," has stuck phenomenally well in this girl's head. She'd rather look a fool than foul someone's day with some callous remark, or cheer someone up with a dopey saying than just let them sink into whatever's got them down. Laire doesn't really know how to swear without replacing words--like petunia for a**, frog for ********, and of course crap for s**t. Laire also doesn't know how to yell at someone without tripping over her own tongue and becoming more flustered with herself because it's rude to yell indoors. ]

____Yes But It's Mine
xxxxx[ Cliiiingy. Clingy to people, clingy to plans. Once something is, in her mind, "set in stone," she becomes very distressed when these plans or relationships are changed in any way. This can range anywhere from someone needs to postpone a shopping trip, to her friend wants to bring another friend with them. Laire is very much the type to try and put herself between people if she feels the third party (or more) are jeopardizing her friendship with someone. Doesn't matter how often her friend confirm to her this isn't happening, Laire will continue to, if allowed, physically cling and physically put herself between people to keep her world in tack. It's not to say she can't make friends with her friend's friends. It's happened a few times! At which time she's much more relaxed in a group, but until then... ]
____Thanks for the Lie
xxxxxInsecurities are a b***h. From other girls harassing her about her body--she's been compared to boys a few times, for starters, and she can't recall how many times she's been told to "go eat a sandwich"--to being sure people are just being nice when they say her singing is good, Laire doesn't just second-guess everything about herself. She triple, quadruple-guesses everything, and even when she's trying to put on a brave face and get something done--a performance, a recording, walking down a hall in school or the mall alone, anything where she feels attention could focus in on her--she still just... doubts. Everything she does. Until she reaches the other end of the hall, or gets the grade back, or starts seeing the likes and positive comments. While it doesn't fully alleviate her sense that people are just being kind, it still helps to take away some of her stress, if only for the moment.
____Anxiety Central
xxxxx[ She has pretty bad social anxiety, along with additional anxiety when her plans must be changed for whatever reason. Walking through school halls alone has her heart rate through the roof, and by the time she gets to a classroom she's usually trying to hide how she's panting from the stress. The more that anxiety notches up, the more Laire shuts down. Her coping mechanism? Run away and hide. Doesn't really work too well in most settings, but she hasn't yet figured out anything else to work in its place.]
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Eyes: #eda3cf Wide and round with pale lashes. She doesn't like to wear makeup, but is curious how she'd look with some around her eyes.
Hair: #e7c1f4 Waves and curls down to her knees, she usually keeps her hair in partial braids, or ponytails, or anything to keep it up. While she loves it long, it can be a hassle.
Face: #FFE4CF
Bodytype: 4'10", slender with slightly wider hips, which at this point gives her a more bony appearance rather than curves. She's unlikely to form curves over time, and likely won't develop further than her A-cup--something that has added to her insecurities.

xxxxxWhen Caer Sidi touches her key to any injured person (of any faction!) a clicking sound like the unlocking of a lock can be heard. The person whom is touched by the key feels refreshed, "reborn," and some of their minor injuries are even healed as if starting over. Caer Sidi has 30 seconds of magic to channel into healing people, however even if she were to spend all 30 seconds on one person, the most she can heal are moderate cuts, first degree burns, small bone fractures, and bruising. Any injuries beyond that will not be healed, but will at least have some of the pain taken away.
