 She'd been here for what seemed like a month now. Her short tail wagging happily. Aiden made the bad thing go away, made it feel like she was safe. Most of the time she would be bounding behind him. The sweet childlike aura around her- yet so adventurous was slowly coming out of her shell. Seeing things, she'd never seen in her home. She must have been far from home, but frankly her paws that had explored out and ran away of the darkness.. Maybe it was a curse over the lands her family had. For that- she hadn't missed home too much. Being away from it would help take some fear away- especially with Aiden.
The thought of him, saving her. She blushed profusely. Anything she could do- like collect planets and things that he'd maybe like. She'd take care for him. A crush? On her savior? PFFT. It couldn't be. She jumped on top of a rock in the middle of the meadows around a bunch of flowers. While Aiden was up to something this morning, she thought to go out exploring on his lands... Anywhere where it smelt like him- she'd stay around, nothing further. Not anywhere where the shadows could swallow her..
A butterfly played on her nose. Pawing up at it and jumping, letting herself fall on the flower bad. Laughing.. She hadn't laughed out loud in so long. The gloom over her homelands wouldn't allow it.

 Every morning he did the same thing he had done since Isra had joined him, he patrolled the lands to make sure whatever, whoever it was that haunted her, was far from her. He would wander the farthest parts of his lands until his paws ached to make sure that she was safe, he would never let anything happen to her, now while he could draw breath into his being still.
But when he returned to where he normally found her, and found that she was not there...fear struck his heart, in a way he had never expected. He picked up her scent with swift movements he followed it, her path of exploration over his lands, he didnt pick up the scent of another though, but still fear beat within his chest. He had never expected to feel this..this pain that it left, was there more to this than him just wishing her safety and to never see her cry again?
That, too was a new thing for Aiden, he had only had to worry about himself for a while now and...was he in love? Was this love? He swallowed the lump in his throat, he had to find her..
The sound of laughter caught his attention instantly, he went directly towards it only to pause and let his gaze fall upon her...safe. She was safe, his breathing quivered for a moment as he watched her play carefree..She was so beautiful with the sunlight catching the different colors on her pelt, her laughter dancing on the air..Yep, he was smitten.

Rolling around in the flower bed, as more came out. A swarm of butterflies! They looked so beautiful... at first she just simply watched them- then her body propped up and started dancing with them below. Some followed her, some paved a way for her. It wasn't until all of them had left her and in to the tree tops that she could feel someone staring at her. She turned around to see Aiden, and a smile so wide from ear to ear was painted on her face. "Aiden!" She yelled out to him, then bounded towards him. Excitement and happiness coming out of her.
"Did you see that!?" Almost out of breath as she spoke. "Butterfly lead me here- and then a swarm of them! It was aaammmaazziinngg!!" Looking back around them, taking in some fresh air and sighing happily. She was happy. Then she looked at him... With soft eyes. "I didn't want to disturb you- you know.. patrolling and stuff.. " Her tail softly wagging now. "How was your morning.. you know.. I can try and hunt! Or like.. get some berries for dinner if you like! I wa...wanna be useful. So.. I was wondering if you can teach me. If that's ok with you?" Taking a step closer to him... A slight blush as she was quite shy in general over staying so long with him already.
"See I was tasting a few berries- and whichever ones weren't bitter- I was gunna take back. But that was yesterday- But I can pick them today. Or..Whatever you need help with!" Preening, as to hopefully convince him to make her useful.

Aiden could only give her a beaming smile, she was just so...so..there were no words for the feelings she cause to bubble up within him.
Damn, he was indeed quiet taken with her it seemed.
He nodded his head, "I saw indeed.." He watched her in amazement, she was so different than she had been the day he met her, the fear he had once seen in her gaze was no longer there. Now happiness and excitement danced in her eyes, he knew that he would do whatever he could to make sure that fear never marred her gaze again.
He shook his head at her with a light laugh, "Be careful of what berries you test, some are very dangerous and are made to look delicious." He lightly nosed her cheek, "And I enjoy your company to much to let you be poisoned by some berries." He teased. "How about I catch us a fish dinner and show you were to collect some berries to go with it?"

"Woah!? Like....poison berries! My daddy told me about those!" Her face full of excitement over this found information but then he'd surprise her more by nosing her cheek. Closing one eye and softly laughing. When he retreated his face, she would happily do the same. Closing the gap between them with a soft nose to his cheek.
"Well anyone can agree to fish. As long as there is no poison berries because I heard they don't feel good going down." Puffing up her cheeks and displaying expressively with her own body language how one would look with an upset stomach from ingesting the toxin.
Then she hopped, wagging her tail happily. "I would love that~ if you did!" Then looking around, then eyes adverted to the ground. "I feel like I'm suppose to be.. doing something.." She looked at him, with some concern, although she still had an up beat attitude while having it. Her ears back now. "Daddy comes and hunts.. Momma takes care of his and teaches of things.. but all I do is...." Then her face got even more serious... in a deeper thought but her air head was probably thinking about the fish or where the butterflies were and not really the situation at hand.
That was like Isra. He'd learn this soon enough...

When she made the move and nosed his cheek in return, Aiden was gravely thankful for having such dark fur as a blush touched his cheeks.
He laughed and shook his head, "And thats why I'll show you the safe berries.." He nodded, flicking his tail out behind him. "That way you never get like this.." He puffed out his cheeks and then let his tongue flop out of his mouth making a face of disgust.
"All you do is provide me with the most wonderful company." He said completing her sentence as he smiled at her, "I never noticed how lonely it was here until you came."

He complimented her, and sent her right back in to a happy smile. Her's seemed to glow. "I would like that.." Her voice was so subtle, then she laughed at his display of what she would look like, and put her paws upon his cheek to let the air out of them.
"I'm glad I am able to be your company, it's fun learning of all the things you have offered to me!" Pushing him jokingly. "As long as he doesn't come.. I'm sure we can build an good friendship, wouldn't you think so?"
