Ara and Morph had been looking and looking for so long. It seemed like forever. Trying to find Morphs teacher and mentor, Mir. Thrud had been so upset about it all and had retreated into the woods. She only saw Toshiro on occasion but not anyone else. Ara and Morph she wouldn't see just cause they reminded her of Mir.
Ara and Morph were dressed in clothes to conceal them from other cats as they moved about the city. They knew she had been here last Thrud knew. Looking for supplies and food.They had searched all the buildings around the area but had not seen any sign that she was there or had been there. Ara and Morph were now looking into houses where maybe a human had caught her again.
Her sights ran over the buildings around them from a corner of the street and she blinked. "There is a strong smell of cats coming from a few of these. We should carefully check them and see if there is a sign of Mir." she said softly to her love. Her hand tightened around her staff at her side and she looked at him and smiled. "We need to be careful i remember there being a bad place, the animal control people, not far from here. We can try to check there last if the houses don't pan out." she said nervously.

It had been a hard year. Ever since Mirelle went missing Morph had felt an emptiness that was hard to quell. It felt like they had looked over all of Ikebukuro though he knew there was still so much more to cover. Feeling the hard lump in his pocket, he touched Mir’s balisong knife; the last piece of her he had after she vanished.
Flicking his ears around at the soft voice, he glanced around at his partner. Morph nodded, “We’ll be careful.” He murmured, sniffing the air slightly as well. “I can smell them too.” He couldn’t pick out the scent of his Singapura godmother at this range, but the scents of the local toms mixed in with those of the city around them were heavy enough to potentially mask that of the slighter female.
He smiled back at Ara, reaching out with his free hand to take hers reassuringly. “Here’s hoping she’s not there.” Giving her hand a gentle squeeze, he padded around the corner of the building where they were hiding and into the slightly more suburban area of the city, heading for the first house in question. Moving into the alley behind it, he hopped onto the fence, his pale green eyes scouring the back yard for any signs of a cat. Hope and anxiety were making his fluffy tail swish slightly as he peered into the darker corners.

She smiled as she nodded and held his hand tightly. "Yes i'll do my best to stay safe and you do too. We'll find her we have to." she said as she let go ofhis hand and hopped up into the yard with the male. She sniffed about and looked in windows, moving about the house and then when they didn't see anything in that house they moved onto the next house.
They looked through windows and around doors. They saw cats through windows and asked them if they could about what they had seen but none of them knew a brown female or had seen a Singapura. Ara tried to fight off tears at the idea that their friend might never be found. She stood on the sidewalk and looked around. "We only have a few left to check...then we should...look....at the animal Control center...its the next block over." she said softly.

Morph crept after her as they went from house to house, ears pricked for the sound of sleepy humans. He was trying not to become agitated, for Ara's sake as much as his, but the thought of yet another night of fruitless searching made his heart ache. Gripping his own short staff quietly, he kept watch as Ara questioned a tabby female about Mirelle's possible whereabouts. Sighing quietly as another "No" greeted their ears, he walked beside Ara away from the house, leaning on her gently for comfort. Her presence was a constant blessing; quiet warmth that without Morph was sure he would have fallen into a deeper depression long before now.
Morph nodded again as they gazed around at the few remaining houses on the block. "Okay." He could smell the Animal Control Center from here, a strong scent of disinfectant and other chemicals. It reminded him vaguely of the facility they had raided as a group so long ago to free friends and family from the experiments there. Shuddering slightly, Morph pushed that fear out of his mind. She's going to be okay. We are going to find her. Holding tight to this thought, Morph led the way across the street to the next house, determined to make something out of the night.

Ara nuzzled her mate and love....The only male who had always been there for her and the one person in the world whom she would be lost with out. He was her rock in life and she couldn't imagine the pain he was in right now. Or what pain Thrud was in too. Ara hadn't expected the strong warrior female like Thrud to give up so easily but she was sure she was doing what she could in het own way.
She slipped along quietly with him to the next house. When they got there she looked at him and pet his face. "Have hope. She's strong and loves you and Thrud. There's no reason to worry. We will find her no matter what." She said kissing him softly as she motioned to one side of the house and she took the other.

Morph nodded as he looked over the house that they came upon next. Talking to the cat in the window it was the same thing...nothing. No sign of a brown singapura female around the area or in any of the houses. He was growing worried over what would happen when they found her..if they did...if she was coming back or could even come back.
He met Ara around the other side of the house and nodded. "I think we need to go check the shelter around the next block...Its going to be our best bet and someone there should know something at the very least." he said as he sighed, his staff held tightly in his hand as he did his best not to worry. Taking her hand he lead the way down the grass covered lawns and towards the shelter...it looked sad and dark at this time of night but he was sure they would get some kind of answer from someone there.

Ara was growing more frustrated for her mate and best friend. She worried over his mental state and worried over the safety of one of her best friends too. She adjusted the strap of her own staff that was slung across her shoulder. She looked around and frowned as she wished that some thing would give...that someone would know something or have seen something...anything...She looked over her love as he came over to her after she cleared the other side of the house.
"Yes i agree. Theres so many cats there that there has to be someone who knows something." she said as she kissed his face and followed along with him to the shelter. She pointed to a side window that was above some stacked cages. With a little help to get up them they each wiggled into the window. It was the bathroom but no one was in it, both of them could only hope that no humans were about at the moment as it was so late. She slipped to the door with him and with a small peek through the swinging door she gave him the all clear and they headed into the hallway.

Morph helped his love up the cages and into the window. He helped her down to the ground and they both checked out the bathroom and then the hall. "I smell cats over this way." He said as they headed into a side room. He jumped to open the handle and let them both in and looked around at all the cats. They woke and looked at them, suddenly alert and talking and begging to get free.
"Please help!" "Please let me out! I don't want to go to a home!" "Please you have to help us my children are out there all alone!" Came from all around them and from every cat that was awake and willing to talk now.
Morph looked at Ara and frowned. "Theres not much we can do for them. If we let them out now and have to come back later it might be harder to get in again..." He said softly as he took her hand.
"PLEASE, Everyone calm for a moment. We're looking for someone. When shes out and safe then we can let some more cats free. We are not sure if shes here or not and we cant chance the security being harder if we need to come back." he said as he looked at them and found a slightly older looking fold standing at the bars. "Sir have you seen a female singapura named Mir around here? Shes got short brown hair and glasses. Please we have looked all over..." he said softly.

Ara felt tears in her eyes seeing all the cats stuck here, begging and asking for help. She covered her mouth as she fought back the tears and need to cry. When Morph turned to the fold he was talking to her hand went to her belly...she knew she was...she MIGHT, be pregnant...but after last time she worried so much over that same thing happening again. She didn't know what she would do if it happened again...it would be too hard and she couldn't think about that right now. She was waiting to tell Morph till she was sure it wasn't going to happen again. She wanted to talk to Nyx about this and see what knowledge she could give her.
She stepped closer when the fold nodded and said he knew the girl he talked of. "Yes young man that girl was here a few weeks ago. She was in and out of trouble. Kept getting out of the cages and trying to free other cats. They had her in community with some other cats but the males kept flirting with her and she kept fighting them....so they kept her in her cage and she didn't like that." the male fold said as he sat down and looked over the two infront of him.
"She got in enough trouble trying to break out that they took her down to solitary. Thats the back of the building and down stairs. You need a card to get through that door though so i do not know how else to tell you to get in to get her. You might have to wait till people are here and....sneak in when one goes down there." he said with a shrug as he leaned against the cage door.
Ara smiled, glad they atleast had news on her. She took Morphs hand and smiled. "We have hope. She is alive. That is more news then we had before! Do not fret we will have her back soon!" She said as she hugged him happily and laughed excitedly.

Morph listened and had to remember to take breaths when he was hearing that she was alive, safe. He let out a sigh and all but collapsed into his loves arms. "Oh Ara! Shes not dead!! Shes still in the town...in this building!! We have to find her. Thank you Sir! So much! We both promise to help as many of you get out as we can after we save Mir. If shes down there in solitary we can not risk things getting harder by setting you out now. Im so sorry everyone but we will be back for you." he said as he took Aras hand and headed to the stairs. He wanted to at least see everything and get a lay of the area.
He found the stairs and they went down them to the door. He jumped and pulled himself up on the stiff locked handle and looked through the window. He saw her, saw that she was alive and locked up tight in a full plastic cage that she could not get her hands through to pick the locks. She looked like she had healing bruises on her face and arms but she looked better then he could have hoped. "Ara shes in there! I see her!!" He banged on the glass till she looked at him. "WE WILL SAVE YOU! DO NOT GIVE UP HOPE MIR!!" He yelled through the door, not even sure if she could hear him. He gave her a 'wait' hand signal that they used while hunting and held up two fingers. He would be back in two day and they would work out something. They needed supplies and he and Ara both needed to rest.
Jumping down he hugged Ara again and smiled. "Come we have to go get ready and tell Thrud." he said as he lead the way out.

Ara smiled as she looked at him from the ground while he talked through the door at Mir. She was glad he was getting to talk with her now even if she might not be hearing him. His happiness at just seeing her was evident on his face. This was bound to be the happiest that he had been in who knew how long now. She smiled and watched him come back down and nodded. "Yes lets go rest. Im sure your going to get the best sleep you have had in weeks." she said as she smiled at him and they left through the window they had come in through. She knew that the next day she would go talk with Nyx, she needed some advice from her sister to be and what she was going to do about Morph...and...her pregnancy. She just worried so much about what might happen again.

The next day she talked with Nyx(Happened in a different RP already) and she was feeling much better. She went back to her home where Morph was readying what they had. She had collected some more bandages and some smoke bombs that she had learned to make from Thrud not long ago. "Here i finished these. It should help if you get cornered by the humans." She said as she smiled at him. "I...Im not going with you i cant risk getting caught...or hurt...Not with...the babies on the way now..." she said with a blush as she watched his face for his reaction.

Morph was packing up a small supply to bring with them. They needed to go find Thrud later that day to tell her and see if she would come with them to get Mir. He was rolling up the bandages and sitting there smiling, just glad that they had a lead on where they could get Mir. Bring back his best friend and mentor.
When Ara came back he smiled. "Did everything go well with my sister? Im sorry i didn't go with you." he said as he took her hands. She had seemed like she had needed to have some alone time. He knew he hadn't been the best over the last several weeks with worrying over Mir.
He frowned a little...what did she say...she wasn't going with him...babies? Pregnant? He looked at her face then her belly and then her face again. "You...your sure? The babies are ok? We-we're going to be parents this time!" he said as he smiled and took her in his arms and kissed her all over her face. "Oh of course you cant come with theres no way i'll let our kittens be born in a shelter! Or you stress over this and...well lets just stay calm about everything and enjoy this! We are going to be a real family now!" he said as he pet her belly and nuzzled it. "Little ones! You be good to your mama and you do not upset us you got it? You all be good to her and come out healthy!" He said as he pulled Ara into his lap and nuzzled her as he held her close.

Ara smiled as she watched her words work their way through her loves mind and he finally understood what she had said. She giggled and smiled and nodded as she kissed him and held him close as he spoke. "Yes im sure that things are going to be different this time. Its what i went and talked with Nyx about...im sorry i didn't tell you first but i needed to....calm my mind about this. I needed to talk with someone and get my fears out so that we both could enjoy this. I was so scared but i'm doing much better after talking with Nyx." she said as she watched him talk with her belly.
Giggling she cuddled into his shoulder and felt his tail curl around her and she took his fluffy tail and held it, petting it happily. "Im so excited. We have wanted to be a family for so long now that i can not describe how happy...how overly joyed i am that this time i know its going to be different! I know we will have little ones in just a few weeks time." she said as she kissed him and smiled.

Aras words about her being worried over the babies this time and needing to talk with his sister had him smiling and nodding. "I understand. Im sure that you were just needing to get some of that stress out and that is more then understandable my love. You are fine. I would be more worried if you didn't go talk to someone as experienced as my sister to help your self feel better. Do what you need to to keep your self happy." he said as he pet her face softly and nuzzled her, smelled her and enjoyed her being in his arms again.
"Why don't we get married? Everyone knows were mates but lets have a real honest ceremony with everyone!! I think that would be a wonderful way to celebrate having Mir back! Marry me and we'll make it official." he said as he smiled and kissed her deeply.

Ara looked up at him. Her eyes tearing up as she nodded and hugged him. "Yes! Oh thats wonderful! I was hoping that we could but i was so worried that something would happen again! I want us to have a huge wonderful ceremony!" she said with a smile. She was glad he had asked cause she had wanted to ask him about doing this exact thing when he and Thrud came back with Mir and he had beat her to it. She loved it! She loved that he knew her so well and would do what ever it took to keep her happy. He always had and he had saved her so many times that she couldn't imagine what to do with out him.
"We'll get everything set up while you and thrud are getting Mir. By We i mean Nyx and i." she said with a smile as she smiled and nuzzled him. "Im so happy about this! I am so happy that we can be a family this time." she said as she purred and smiled.
