 Aidan stalked over the land he called home, the lands he shared with Isra and their new family. His chest swelled at the thought of them, he would protect each of them with his life, would give his all to ensure their happiness.
His tail flicked as he jumped over a fallen tree, normally he didnt leave Isra's side but she and their kits were all resting and he felt the need the patrol the land, to keep whatever haunted Isra at bay.
He would find it, and he would end it one day.
There was a scent in the air, one he hadn't smelt since his days in his own box, it was familiar and yet..unknown.
Who was out here? He asked himself, pale green eyes looked around.

 The winds couldn't chase him. His life, the one that he never thought could be. The happiness in his heart, maybe he could finally begin to piece together everything he once thought he could have. Everything that Tsu had, Tsu... He wanted to tell him about his meeting with Lysianthia but he was irrelevant right now. Not knowing what to make of her return, nor the feelings he had. He decided to first and foremost go to the son he never had the pleasure in meeting. She called him.... "Aiden." Where ever his feelings were about their mother. They were set aside to find them. His children.
His paws hit the ground at a terribly alarming pace. He had not known the location exactly but rationality of waiting for someone to take him there was not an option. If she knew the place, she'd find him again because undoubtedly he'd find Aiden no matter what. The forest, western part of the region. As soon as he got to where she had described he called out. "AIDEN!" It was loud and alarmed. Then the desperation in his voice and travel. "AIDEN! ANSWER ME! ARE YOU HERE! ANSWER ME!" Nerves had undoubtedly built up. "AIIIIDDDEENNN!!" The birds had flew out of the trees... Gasping for breath. The time it took him to get here was close to incredible but when you have the chance of a life time. You'd take it.
Dark red eyes scanned for any sign of an ulaya's den anywhere. Wherever he could find.

The sound of his name being called in such a frantic pitch filled him with panic, had something happened to Isra? To the kits?! He moved through the forest as if blinded by fear, he knew each and every part of the land, he knew where to jump, where to land, where his speed could be fed.
It wasn't until he found himself face to face with an unknown male that he stopped, his sides heaved with his heavy breath as he stared into the eyes his mother had told him about in countless stories.
Aidan couldn't be sure of course, instead he snorted and eyed the male.
"Is there something I can do for you?" He asked, his head tilted to the side slightly. "I'm Aidan." He said with flick of his long tail.

The looking was the devastating part. Had he moved since she had left to find him. Had their son still been where she last saw him. So many things had passed through his mind before his steps quickened until finally he heard the rustle of leafs. For a moment, he stood still. It didn't take long at all before his son found him and when he locked eyes with those cool greens. His son- was an adult. The time had passed and he wasn't there. What did he think of him now. What was there to Aiden's life.
For a moment, it seemed like Sorii was stuck in time and space.
After a split second he ran up to him and as soon as he could touch him. Had pulled him in to an embrace so strong that he could nearly break him. If he had resisted- he could be for naught. The love Sorii had kept locked away for so long. He never thought he could let go.
Finally words uttered out of him. "...My Son." Shutting his eyes tight. He never thought he would ever share this moment. Never would he be so lucky. "I am so ..so sorry." In which was followed by such a heart wrenching pain in his voice. Not even making sense to Aiden, but he had said it with every intention of hoping to be forgiven. Forgiven for not being there, forgiven for losing the rest of the family. Anything he would give to change back time.

Aiden stiffened for a moment when he was pulled into such an embrace, before he froze completely at the males next words...son?
Was this him, was this the father his mother had always told him about, the male that she had loved and yet left for reasons he never really understood but he never judged her for them.
"Father?" Aiden finally got out as he embraced the other just as tightly, this swelling of feelings within him as only fueled further by the fact that he now had kits of his own and couldnt dream of not being with them, or their mother..Though that was a story still being told.
He shook his head, "No, no..you have nothing to be sorry for." He said with a kind smile. "You might not have been there, but you were still..she made sure of that." He offered with a nod, all his kit-hood they had followed some trail that only his mother seemed to know, some scent..and now that he was here, he knew it had been the scent of his father she had tracked.

Hearing himself being called by his son. The word he longed to be called. Father. He couldn't help the tears from finding their way through the furs of his cheeks. "It will never excuse the fact that I wasn't there." Pulling back to grasp at the other's face as if he'd just simply disappear. "When she told me where you were. I ran. ALL the way here. Through the boarders of the regions. I had to see you." Putting his forehead against his. "I can not turn back time, I can not repair what has passed but right now. This very moment I have only seen in dreams. Just know that you have always been on my mind. In my heart. I have not forgotten. If I had a chance to make it up to you. I would." Looking in his son's eyes then had to embrace him once more. His scent now, was layered with his own scents he had come to have but his inherited scent still hinted.
"I can not be called a father.. I am a disgrace to that title. I have so little privilege to call you my son. I want to know you. I want to know everything about you. But.." He softly loosened his grip. "I would understand if it's too late. But I don't want to be there by stories anymore and if you ...would let me....." His voice was breaking through the sentences. Trying to make sense of this feeling of pain and happiness all at once. She ..spoke about him. At least... But he would blame himself, rather than have her take all the blame. He rather himself be the bad guy- then to ever blame her. Their mother... How he regretted not looking harder. "I should have looked harder."

Aiden stepped back, an easy going half smile on his features as he chuckled. "Come now, you are my father...nothing in this world can change that. And yes, plenty has passed between then and now, but its the now that matters." His long tail flickered behind him, as he eyed the one who sired him.
Well, it made sense where all this green had come from, as a kit he had been confused since his mothers coat was nothing but darkness ontop of darkness, and he well..he hadnt carried those traits.
Aiden shook his head, "No, I live in this world, in the world shes known..I wouldnt be able to find her if she didnt want to be found." Aiden had no excuses for his mothers behavior, for what had happened. She had been a wonderful mother to him and he loved her a great deal, and he wouldnt belittle her by making those excuses.

When the embrace broke, and a short distance was between them. Sorii couldn't help but feel like it had been miles. He gasped a softened gasp. Holding in the air to compose him. "Yes. The now." The boy was right.. and looking him up and down. A man. "You are an adult now... I guess it can't be helped that I still feel like you are just a box. The naked kit within. Unable to fend for one's self. Now you can and I can't help but want that time back but you are right. It is the now, and with the now. Tell me." Softly brushing the back of his paw around his face just to wipe away any tears.
"What have ... you been doing." Looking around these woods. "Seems you inherited the lands now. Does anyone else live in here? What are your ..fav-" He cleared his throat and embarrassingly smiled. "I'm sorry- I didn't mean to rush.. just.. look at you." Tapping his paw to his chest. "I always wanted to know you. If you can just humor me a little.. even if after you want to throw me out for being annoying."
His ears panned back to how he spoke of his mother. "Right... her world." His voice went low. Then softly smiled. "I hope she will join us soon.. I fear my want to see you- I couldn't think straight."

"I could never throw you out Dad.." Aiden shook his head with a smirking grin, "What would be the point of that? I want you in my life." His long tail swayed out behind him, almost like a wag of happiness.
"And yes, Mom gave me this chunk of land to call my own..She says she has enough to pass on land to those of us that want them, and any future kits as well." He shifted lightly, he wasnt sure how much of his mother he could talk about, of what had passed between his parents when they had been reunited again.
"I live here with Isra and our new kits." Aiden beamed like a sappy fool at the thought of his own little family starting, he adored the mother of his kits, would do anything for her and for them. "Guess thats a bit of a surprise as well, you get to find out your a grandfather the same day you reunite with me." He beamed at his father.
"Things couldn't be better than they are right now." He nodded, his broken family was starting to not be so broken. "Mom says Im like you in ways..But I'll let you be the judge of that one." He chuckled. "And I don't think she will be joining us, she knows how much I wanted to meet you, I think if you left her to find me, she'll wait."

"To pass on... lands?" His ears fanned back and he retorted one hand to his head. Softly massaging his tiny fur back. "I see.." Did she want to leave this place for the children, then start over new in another? He'd have to ask her when he got to seeing her again.
"Your-you- Wow!" He smiled widely, good news. Kits. New ones!? He was mated already!? Pfft, the effects his mother had on Sorii was nearly the same. How excited he was about the kits. At least.. he got to be there for their lives. Seeing how happy his son was, made him happy. As if all the troubles he had with his mother had melted off of him. "A big surprise! A wonderful for one indeed." Taking a step forward, and giving him a nod. "It would be an honor to see for myself the Ulaya you have become, and if I may ask- Might.. I be able to meet them. The grandchild...?" His eyes went big as if he had already set himself up for failure.
Sad. Big Puffy dog kinda eyes, that ached the soul.
"I hope she does wait for me..this time." Referring to his last statement in which he only nodded.

Aiden watched the thoughts pass through his fathers eyes, and he shook his head. "There has never been anyone else for her but you. Any future kits I believe, would be mine. I dont think she even believed that you'd talk to her again...let alone.." Aiden let his words trail off. His mother had messed up, he would not say any different, but still..she had been loyal and once her heart was given, it was gone.
Aiden found that he was the same way. There would never be another to take Isra's place if she were to ever leave him..She was it for him.
"It was a wonderful surprise." He beamed once more, chest puffed proudly like a peacock. "We have three, a pair of twins and then a little odd ball." He could almost dance on air with the feelings of happiness that filled them.
"Im sure Isra and they would like to meet you as well." Aiden nodded, today was indeed a wonderful day.

A soft smile as his son swelled with pride over his children. He wanted that, he felt that when they had been boxes but.. The excitement to see grandchildren. He didn't know how Ly didn't just stay with Aiden... then he realized he should of at least check on Ly... See if she found her brother. "Maybe tomorrow then? I.. am meeting your mother tonight. About your siblings." Giving him a soft nod. "I can't wait to meet my grandkits...already they mean the world to me and I haven't even met them... Just like I still love you even if I just met you..." A heart pulling kinda smile.
The fact that she didn't breed again with anyone else. He thought she at least one litter.. but judging by last night's events. What his son was saying was true and he loved her even more for it. No matter if he hadn't even slept just so he would know if she left again or not. This time it was a mutual agreement.
"Take.. care of them. Isra.. the kits..ok?" As if his son didn't already know. It was reassuring to himself that he said it. He'd give up everything to have done the same. "I gotta go.. the time has passed and I need to meet your mother. Tomorrow we will .. come see the kits. If we are allowed." Softly smiled as he brought his son in for another hug. A tight one. It was like he was saying goodbye and it hurt. But he owned these lands.. so he'd stay here. Right? "I'll be back soon." Rubbing his paw on top of the male's head before trotting off.. Looking back. Then giving him another nod before leaving..
He was almost gitty feeling, to come back to her. Now that he knew a lil about their time apart... 'I never stopped loving that one...'...
