Six forty-five and Chance was in his room.
He'd done absolutely nothing to prepare for visitors, since there was really nothing to do. His room was as barren as it ever was, save for the stickers on the ceiling, and all of his clothes were hung up in his closet with the door closed. The walls were empty and a dull white, and his bed was neatly made with a few pillows tossed on it.
It was where he was currently reclining, Chance in the middle of reading a thrilling tale about all of the murderous kings of the seventeenth century.

After the duty, it'd been time for a shower. After that, it'd been time to change clothes. She wasn't going to dress up just to get dressed down. At six fifty-nine Claude was padding down the hall barefoot, sans her bandana and clad a simple breezy tunic top and equally breezy capri pants. She stopped in front of Mr. Bones' door, ignored that small nag, and lightly wrapped her knuckles on the wood. kuuropii I know you...I WALKED WITH YOU ONCE UPON A DREAM RP!

Chance could have gotten up to answer the door, but that would have taken too much effort, so all he said was an easy, "Door's unlocked," without actually looking up from his book.
When Claude did come in, she would find the curly haired man still curled up on his bed, dressed in a pair of star printed leggings and a plain blue teeshirt.

Claude opened the door and stepped in. She quietly closed it behind her, eyes cast towards the figure on the bed with his book. The trainee crossed the short distance from the entry to his bed, and leaned over, peering at the pages he was on. After a moment she uttered, "It'd be better if there were pirates."

His eyes rose to meet hers, a look of amusement on his face.
"Everything is better with pirates," said Chance with a laugh. He folded a corner down on the page he was currently at and then shut the book, folding his arms over his lap and peering up at the woman standing next to him. A part of him was curious, another part of him was interested, and the last part of him was mostly just thoughtful.
"So," he said lightly. "Want a drink? Or should we just...get down to things?"

"I'll pass on the drink." She replied, and slid onto the bed beside him, settling next to him. She rested her palms down on the comforter, and leaned a bit to press her shoulder against his. She looked at him, eye level with him this time, her lips quirking up a bit. "Unless you want one, then by all means. I'm in no rush."

He laughed a little, a stray curl falling into his eyes.
"I'm good without one," said Chance, as he turned his head to look at her. For a moment he didn't say anything else, his dark eyes scrutinizing her carefully, a thoughtful look on his face. A hand lifted, and he slid it across Claude's cheek, curling his black painted fingers around the back of her neck and drawing her closer, close enough that their faces were mere inches apart, but not quite the entire distance just yet.
Then he just sat there, watching her and waiting with a little smile on his face.

Her eyes lidded, and it didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out the scrutiny in his gaze. She was curious as to why he seemed to be evaluating her. She knew her pause before wasn't exactly subtle, but it was interesting to her that Chance seemed to be looking for something now. She wouldn't lie though...feeling his hand on her skin was nice. It'd been a really, really, really long time. She let him draw her in closer, and when it was apparent it was her turn to move, she did. One hand left the comforter to reach up, a finger brushing the stray curl away from his eyes. Her fingers fleetingly caressed down his temple and the side of his face before mimicking his action before and curling around the back of his own neck, though she let a few fingers loosely wrap around some curls. Her lips brushed his cheek, and ghosted across. "What are you looking for?" She murmured against the corner of his mouth.

Claude's fingers were cool against his cheek; Chance's own grip tightening ever so slightly against the back of her neck. A part of him - the part of him that was still essentially missing - almost wished he could feel things differently when it came to people; that this could mean something deeper than what it did.
Except he couldn't, and it didn't, and he knew that very well.
It was a good question, and one he had an easy answer to. Chance smiled, his lips curving upwards alongside Claude's.
"A good time," he answered her lightly. "What about you?"
And then he abandoned all pretense, and closed the distance between them, his mouth covering hers in a firm kiss.

She didn't believe it. She had come to that conclusion quickly and with a firm certainty. If all he had been looking for was a good time, then he'd been looking too hard. Right this moment wasn't the time to bring it up. She didn't, and it wasn't like he gave her the-- damn it-- chance to. It'd been far too long. The excitement fluttered in her stomach as his warm mouth covered hers, and she responded eagerly in kind, despite her earlier reservations. She kissed him back just as firmly, her other hand also leaving the bed to come up and cup his face. Her fingers threaded more into his mop of curls.

He wondered only for a moment whether she would back down after all; she'd had her doubts, after all, and if she changed her mind, that would be that, and they'd both go on as they always had. Chance still viewed this as just a casual, fun evening, but a part of him was still curious about what Claude was thinking.
Or not thinking, as the case may have been. Her response was surprisingly eager, and Chance let his eyes fall shut, his fingers sliding up from the back of her neck to the side of her face instead. He let himself be lost for a few minutes in the simpleness, and then he deepened the kiss, drawing Claude closer, his free hand moving to rest on her upper leg.
After a moment, however, Chance drew back, not far, but just enough to speak as he trailed a few light kisses across her jaw.
"Still okay?"
He may have been a heartless b*****d, but he still didn't want to force anyone into anything they didn't really want.

It was fine. No, it was more than fine. It was fantastic. She missed this, and any concerns she had before were simply nerves, she assured herself. It had been a very long time, and she wasn't in Vegas anymore. She was out of her usual routine and into a new one, and she just needed to feel it out. Her own eyes slid closed as his hand slid to her face, and she let herself be lost in the feeling as well. The hand not threaded in his hair skimmed down the front of him though, trailing down his neck and down his clothed torso until she reached the bottom hem of his tee shirt. She responded just as quickly as the kiss deepened, and nudged her fingers underneath his shirt, feeling the first warm brush of skin, which paused as he asked his question. Claude's eyes fluttered open, and she seemed momentarily surprised before she let out a soft chuckle, tilting her head to the side to expose her neck to him. "If I wasn't okay, I wouldn't be here." She murmured with certainty, and her fingers resumed their exploration, pressing against his stomach and kneading the warm skin.

The coolness of her fingers against his stomach almost tickled, a smile curving Chance's lips upwards against Claude's as he carried on kissing her (it really was very nice). Her explorations were curious without being desperate, and they were practiced motions, moving with ease.
He laughed into her neck, the sound partly muffled.
"Just checking," he said, and he shifted his hands; one moved to Claude's waist, the other stayed where it was on her leg, but then he had pulled hard, easing her into his lap so that she was straddling his legs. Both of his arms went around her waist to hold he in place, and Chance kissed a line up her neck, across her jaw, until he reached her face.
"Last - chance - to change your mind," he whispered, his lips ghosting over hers.

She gave a soft pleasant shudder at feeling his breath on her neck as he laughed, and she fully approved of being pulled onto his lap. She straddled him, easing comfortably, and her hand, once again, paused on his skin, pressing into his chest, at his words. Really. She was amused, if not a bit exasperated he was still verbally getting her today, much less right before they were about to get down to it. The fingers on his curls tightened, pulling his head back a bit to tilt his head up and keep him in place. " Shut up." She breathed, taking the initiative this time to seal his mouth firmly with hers and immediately deepening it to stop him from talking. She wasn't going to let him talk anymore now.

His self-satisfied laughter was muffled by the feel of her mouth against hers. Chance rocked backwards momentarily, letting her take control for approximately a minute or so before his hands began to wander, and then he hauled her against him, pulled her back down onto the bed, and exchanged verbal communication for something else entirely.
--------------------------
He really did wish the dorm rooms weren't quite so small; the heat hung in the air, making the entire place feel somewhat heavy and cluttered, and he had already pushed the window open an inch to let a frigid breeze gust in.
"Well?"
Chance was on his back, one hand still lazily sifting through Claude's hair, the other behind his own head. A smirk was playing at the edges of his mouth, and he felt pleasantly exhausted.
"Didn't you say something about dazzling you?"
