Síofra was bored. Her humans were all gone out doing various jobs and such. The kitten humans were at a place called "School" and the adult humans were at work. Síofra didn't understand why they had to go do these things away from home or why they had to be gone for so long. The fluffy mix didn't like being left alone. At least she had the catflap and didn't have to stay inside all day while they were gone. She finished grooming herself and stretching before before hopping out the catflap and into the back garden. The female left lucky with the humans who had picked her. They lived beside a lovely forest which was simply beautiful and a wonderful place for exploring. Síofra jumped up onto the wall and back down the other side and started padding into the forest, her tail flicking with curiosity as she explored.

As the female came to a large group of trees the birds were chirping happily and she cat to watch them, her ears twitching as the listened to all the sounds of the forest. She loved this place, she thought to herself. It was a special, magical place. Suddenly her ears perked up. She couldn't shake the feeling that there was something other than the birds and the worms here. Infact, the female felt like she was being watched...

With a sigh, Saffron found herself in the familiar suburbs where she was living for few years after she got 'kidnapped' and fled from so she decided to check the house she was 'trapped' in, noticing that its... gone and in the place, weird things are set up in its place with children yelling and squealing while climbing all over those things. Tilting her head to side little bit, Saffron oddly felt sad that the house isn't there because she did have some good memories there with her human and that other cat there but at same time, she's very happy that the house is gone. A flurry of movement caught her eye as she looks over at the fenced house, spotting a cat scaling up the fence and leaping over, disappearing into the forest.

"Another cat escaping?" She thought to herself as she slinks away from the playground, her pace picking up as she trots after the cat and she felt like she should travel from a tree to other so she quickly scaled up one tree, then from there, with slow and precise but sure steps, she follows the fluffy cat from the security of trees, watching her curiously. Saffron pauses as she noted that there a large group of birds chirping so she was very careful to keep a distance from them so they won't alert the fluffy cat to her presence. Moving from one tree to other, Saffron positions herself so she could settle in and watch the fluffy cat more safely but she miscalculated herself and stepped on a very fragile dry twig that was stuck in the tree. A loud 'SNAP' could be heard and the group of birds fills the air with wild flapping of wings and alarmed cries, Saffron's ears pins back against her head when she realized that her ninja days are over.

Siofra couldn't help but whirl around, her nature connection had been completely cut off now with whatever had caused the birds to fly away. In short the fluffy cant was not impressed by this at all. Her bright aqua eyes scanned the ground first, looking for something dangerous that might have been trying to sneak up on her. Maybe a bear or something awful like she had seen in the nature documentaries the humans left on TV during the day. She couldn't see anything on the ground that was looking to have the fluffy kitten for tasty tasty prey but she was now worried. She knew that animals such as wolves were really good at hiding themselves and so she might not even get to see them before she was eaten!

Maybe it was an eagle? She had seen those in documentaries as well. She had seen the big ones, bald eagles?, pick up things the size of dogs as their prey. A little kitten like her would be nothing but a tasty treat to something that size. Her eyes whirled upwards and scanned the sky first. That seemed safe, she decided. Now to check the trees. Her panicked eyes scanned the tree line quickly, terrified of what she might find. Well, until they fell on a fluffy kitten in a tree and Síofra relaxed slightly. The fur on her back stood up as she shouted up at the cat. "Who are you?? Why are you following me?" the kitten mewled upwards, trying to make her voice sound as confident as possible.

Cocking her head to side, Saffron watches the female's reaction when the birds choked the skies with their flapping wings and she is kinda happy to see that the female knew to look around quickly to check for dangerous things but she's frowning once again because the kitten on the ground should have instinctively go up the tree just in case there are predators around. Staying in a crouched position, Saffron stays silent as she observed the female while coming to the conclusion that she's still stuck in the human household and is getting too soft when it comes to survival but again, there are actually some cats who happily accepted their 'prison' and stayed with them. Saffron can't even wrap her head around the concept of living with the humans when they kidnapped cats from their own families without any single consideration to cats' feelings. With a mental sigh, Saffron knows that her sister is safe and is sunbathing somewhere on a roof so she's safe.. but she's primarily concerned about this fluffy kitten on the forest floor. It is no place for a cat with no survival skills.

When the gray/black kitten with aqua blue eyes looks up, they collided with her own pale green eyes and she slowly cranes her head out so the kitten could see who have been watching her and she stayed silent for few heartbeats when the kitten tried to sound confident while mewling those questions up to her. Saffron have been surviving on her own for few weeks to couple of months and those experiences have jaded her but she couldn't help but to see the innocent and sweet girl she left behind when she fled for her life in this kitten's aqua eyes. "Saffron." She simply says as she leaps from a branch to other on her way down but half way down, she simply forgot that this particular tree don't have branches so she would have to clamber down headfirst down the trunk so that's what she did. "From your actions and clean exterior, you are still with your captors.." She says as she sits down next to the tree, still a good distance between them while she eyes the kitten. "What are you doing so far away from them? Would they worry about where you are?" She starts licking her paw since she got some tree sap on it.

Siofra puffed herself up to her biggest, which wasn’t very much if she was being honest, as the other cat opposite her started to climb down the tree. Now she was in trouble, the kitten thought. She should have just kept her big mouth shut because now she was going to be attacked for being in another cat’s territory. With some horror the monochrome kitten realised that she didn’t know how on earth to defend herself against another cat. She had spent most of her time inside with her humans and although she was great at attacking their hands and toes she didn’t feel like that was very good practice for fighting a real cat. Especially since the humans gave out to her when she used her claws. She backed up as the sandy cat got off the tree, now very worried about the situation she had put herself in.

She hissed as best she could, now realising just how pitiful she sounded before the cat who was now opposite her spoke. Saffron? What…like the spice? Ooooh wait that’s her name! Siofra though as her brain went a mile a minute. This cat wasn’t really making much sense at all. Captors? What are captors? Like the humans on tv that locked up tigers and lions? She didn’t have captors, she had her family of humans. “…what do you mean captors?” the kitten mewled, her fur still standing on end. “My…my family are all at…at the things they call ‘work’ and ‘school’ so…so they won’t be back for a few more hours. But they’d come looking for me if something happened to me!” she responded, trying to prevent the other cat from attacking her. “I’m not that far away, my house is just over …there…” Siofra trailed off, horror dawning on her face. She had gone much further into the forest than she had intended to. Maybe he humans wouldn’t be able to find her if the other cat attacked her. “They would be really worried about me if I didn’t come home. They would search all over the place for me.” she finished, her voice continuing to fake confidence.

As she was making her way down the tree, she noted that the female started puffing out to make herself look more bigger and she couldn't help but to look amused at the attempt because its a decent attempt, it is obvious that the other female have so much to learn. When she's on the ground and licking the tree sap off her paw, her pale green eyes stares at other female whom backed away from her while being this adorable puffball and she suddenly just .. smiled at other female. "Relax, sugar.." She adopts the southern accent as she shakes her paw briefly as she gets up, padding toward the female while smiling but it didn't reach up to her wary green eyes.

When the other cat hissed in a warning, Saffron just simply couldn't help but to chuckle little bit while tilting her head to side. "I am not here to fight. I was just simply curious about you, sugar." She drawled out in that southern accent while she moves around to circle around the female so she could access the female's body mass, signs of abuse or illness and that kind of thing. "Captors..." She meets the female's aqua eyes. "Is the humans you are living with. Do you have a family.. that looks like us before the humans kidnapped you?" She shifts over to mid-western accent. It is very clear that this particular female have a thing for accents and will speak in various different accents instead of using her real one. "They won't look for you, ma'cherie. They will just simply steal another cat to replace you." The cajun accent is out now.

Siofra scowled at the sandy female chuckled at her. She really was trying her best and really didn’t appreciate being mocked for her efforts. She was more than aware that she wasn’t a big, scary cat but she felt that she had been doing a pretty good job of the whole thing. The fluffy monochrome kitten slowly crouch down to an almost lying position. She knew that if making herself big didn’t scare her being submissive meant that the other cat might not attack her. At least…that was what the tv told her. She cocked her head to the side as the female spoke. Relax? How can I relax? I bet you’re going to eat me! Siofra thought to herself but said nothing, crouching lower as Saffron approached her, trembling slightly with fear.

“C-curious? Why are you curious? I’m nothing special.” the kitten explained, a little miffed that the cat had laughed at what she had thought was a pretty impressive hiss. “If you’re not here to fight why are you here? I saw something that said stray cats always fight with each other so…so that there will be more food for them.” Siofra explained. Most, if not everything, she had learned about the outside world had come from the tv that was left on during the day while her humans were at work. The kitten shook her head, now very confused. “The humans are my family. They…they went and bought me at a pet store. I don’t really remember anything before then. Just being at the pet store and then the humans coming to buy me and then going in the weird moving house and then I ended up at my house now.” Siofra was really confused by what the other was saying. Were some cats not bought from pet stores?? She then got defensive. “Of…of course they would come look for me! They love me! Also I wasn’t stolen. I was bought. Buying something isn’t stealing.” she retorted, proud of her knowledge.

Saffron watches the female as she automatically goes into submissive position without realizing what that could be telling Saffron and she shakes her head. "Relax, sugar~" The southern accent is back as she gives the female a slight smile, feeling sorry for this female because it is painfully obvious that she learned all of those 'survival' skills from somewhere.. probably a television because that's how Saffron learned those different accents. "I am not a cannibal and I don't think you would taste good to me." She approaches the female and rolls her eyes while staring down at other female in askance. "Seriously.. get up. I am not going to attack you or murder you or whatever." She orders the female but there is a hint of amusement in her voice because this is first time she have seen anyone doing those things. But again, she wasn't any better when she first fled from that household.

"I am always curious about any new kittens, sugar.. and you really shouldn't believe anything that your television have been telling you. Stray cats do fight..." She shrugs as she stares down at the cowering cats. "But there are various reasons why they fight... survival.. food... place to sleep.. or self defense because not everything out here is warm, and safe." She simply says and her ears perks up while an smile of irony appears on her face. "And before that, where did you come from?" She says in quiet voice as she shakes her head at this female's stupidly naive manners. "What's your name?" She says with a sigh.

Siofra just wasn't sure what to make of the sandy female anymore. She certainly seemed to not be threatening, or at least wanting herself to appear that way. What was she doing out in the forest anyway? Was Siofra in her territory? But Siofra came here a lot and she had never seen her before. The fluffy monochrome kitten rose to her feet tentatively, still ensuring not to make eye contact incase it somehow bothered the other cat. "...are you sure?" she asked, a bit stupidly. She wasn't really sure what else the cat would want with her other than to murder her to be honest. Even though Saffron seemed friendly the kitten didn't really want to take new chances.

"Soooo...does that mean you live around here then?" she asked, a little curiously before flushing furiously. "I...I dont believe everything on tv...I mean I know some of it is fiction as stuff but...but animal planet normally tells the truth...I think..." the kitten trailed off, starting to realise just how stupid she must sound. "Why don't they just go home to their owner though? So they don't have to fight for food or places to sleep?" The kittens black and white tail flicked side to side as she spoke. She cocked her head to the side when Saffron questioned her. "Um...I don't remember where I came from before the pet shop. It's the first place I remember..." she said quietly, trying to see if she could remember anything before that time. She didn't really remember having a mother, although she knew she must have had one. Everyone has one apparently. "Oh...um...my name is Siofra." she responded quickly, snapping out of her haze slightly.

When another cat stupidly asked her if she's sure about her not being cannibal, Saffron resists the urge to smack that stupid female across the face and she settled with giving the female a very droll look. Truly at the loss of what to think or say, Saffron looks irritated and she frowns at the female that calls herself Siofra. "If you are really that stupid, then you shouldn't be wandering around here. You are lucky I am not a cannibal, otherwise you wouldn't be standing there." She dryly comments as she shakes her head, astounded on how stupid this female can be.

"I live anywhere really. I travel with my sister Chamomile and we just simply move to next place if we get bored of the place we are currently staying in." She says with a shrug while she moves toward Siofra with an intention to herd her back to the suburbs because she feels like this is not a safe place for an idiot like the female in front of her. "The television paints everything in extreme angle. Everything can look so easy and amazing out in the wild or..." She smiles, showing her fangs off. "Everything gets bloody, vicious and ends up in death over little things." Extending her claws out, she paws at the twigs and leaves in between them and she sighs to herself, shaking her head at how naive Siofra is sounding right now. "Don't believe anything the TV says. As for the strays, there are various of the reasons why they left their owners. I am not going to list them all for you." Saffron says with a sigh. "Well, Siofra..... I don't think you should wander away from your owners if you are going to be this naive. What if I was a really cruel tomcat that kidnapped you and used you for many unspeakable reasons?" She says with a frown, not sure why this female is wandering off on her own when she have no clue to how to handle herself in the wild.
