Guess what! I'm working on the beginning steps of a cosplay from Repo! The Genetic Opera, including a latex face that I'm just about finished with!
I used a coated plastic face mask as a mold, blocking the eyes, mouth and nostrils with pieces of plastic jury-rigged with crazy glue. I used sponge applicators to stipple the latex on layer-by-layer, until it was eventually 1mm thick all around. I am now using actual cosmetics, including a lip stain, to paint the mask, using this image as a reference:

I'm still working out a few kinks, but I hope that the end result will be at least convincing enough to give some normies a scare and be very recognizable for all the Repo! fans.
After I finish the face, I plan to make the high-collared vest as pictured above. Most live-action cosplay contests that I've looked into require that at least 70% of the costume be handmade, not bought, so I don't think the costume will qualify, but it'll still be fun to wear at conventions, because ten out of nine attendees will love the Pavi! xd
