Kyrone wondered alone skirting the woods at edged the great Kawani village, his small pure white frame slipping in and out of the shadows, he headed east towards the river and towards the area he called home.
He stopped at the edge of the river, dipping his muzzle into the icy cold water for a moment before splashing his way to the opposite bank. He climbed forth, the chill in the air causing him to shiver a little. Kyrone stamped white hooves on the ground to shake as much of the freezing water off of his legs as he could.
Blue eyes scanned the small clearing in the trees he'd come too, every sense was on high alert for any danger; nostrils flaring to catch the faintest scents, ears straining to catch a pin drop, and eyes straining to see forever the stallion stood still and silent as a statue. Nothing happened, it was peaceful and the only scents on the breeze were water and the aroma of the forest.
With a flick of his long bright tricolor tail, Kyrone lowered his muzzle to the ground and started to graze savoring the taste of the grass that the mild winter had allowed to flourish.
At least for now his whole world was peaceful and he was content.
