 Having been given the day to himself he decides to travel further then he normaly does seeing as he's not as young as he was. Though still not old enough to go too far away from his Mother. Flapping his wings a few times he pretends he's going to take off every so often knowing full well if he does actually take off he'll be grounded for a month. He hasn't quite learned how to fly and his Mother says if he tries flying without learning how to fly first he'll be in a lot of trouble. Since she doesn't have wings she doesn't know anything about flying or if there are safe or un-safe ways to take off or land. Though she told him that she's sure that what ever goes up must come down sooner or later and she doesn't want him getting hurt by crashing since he can easy enough get hurt by cantering about. So he stops flapping his wings about and decides to just stay at a nice steady trot.

 The day was still young as Aquitaine made her way through this area. It was one of many places she had yet to visit during her quest to help others, and with things secure at home she took the opportunity to search the area and visit with the various Soquili who called it home. So far she had only seen a few others about, but she knew that there were bound to be more. It was early enough still that some may be hidden away in their homes, or busy off doing something while it was quiet.
Spotting movement up ahead Aquitaine glanced curiously to see a foal. A soft rumble came from her dragon but he did not seem to mind that she was moving towards the foal. Her hair dragon had gotten much better about her getting close to strangers since she began her travels, but every now and then he showed his grumpy side and made a fuss when she approached others.
Not wanting to startle the colt she called out to him before getting too close. "Hello little one." Even from this distance Aquitaine could see that he had been touched by mutations. She had been seeing more and more of them lately, which was her purpose in life all the more important.

Having heard someone call to him he looks in their direction then hurries to meet them since they don't seem to wish him harm. Still trotting he gets close enough to see her better though not too close. The sight of her man seems to frighten his mane. Normally it's outgoing like he is, though with his mane being cautious he becomes a bit cautious. Giving a sweet smile he replies, "Hello there, are you new around here?" Looking at her tail he smiles more, "I've never seen a tail like that before." Looking behind him he gives his tail a wag this way then that thinking about what it'll look like when he grows up and it grows out. Wondering out loud, "I wonder how long my tail to grow?" Then he quickly looks up at her since there appears to be something in her hair? He takes a step back un-sure what to think about it. His Mother said that if he's un-sure about anything at all he should calmly back away from it till he learns more about it.

"I am new around here yes. Mainly I am passing through on my travels." She explained to the colt with a soft smile. Aquitaine noticed that he was being cautious but curious as well. She did not want to frighten him off so she remained where she was, not wanting to push the boundaries. At the mention of her tail Aquitaine glanced back at her long thin tail. "It is quite unique I must admit. Much like you mane, it is quite stunning." She said as she turned her gaze back to the colt. "My tail is much like my mother and fathers tails, only they have fluff at the end as most unicorns do, but mine lacks that fluff." She told him. There had been a time when the lack of hair at the end of her tail had bothered her, but she learned a long time ago to accept it and love it for what it was. Eying his tail she gave her shoulders a bit of a shrug. "It's hard to tell how long it will get, some Soquili have very long tails that drag on the ground, while others have tails that remain short their entire lives."
Watching him take a couple steps back Aquitaine smiled softly. "Oh don't worry about him." She said while motioning to the dragon head within her mane, for that could be the only reason the colt would suddenly back up like this. "He may make a bit of noise but he is otherwise friendly. He just doesn't like when others get too close to him."

Taking everything in, in good time he shakes his head then gives a bit of a bow to be polite, "I hope your time here is pleasant while you are passing through." Looking at he tail some more, "Oh, a Unicorn tail. I've never seen a Unicorn of any kind till now. Can you heal others? I heard Unicorns have some sort of healing magic, that is if I haven't misheard anything." Looking at her tail some more, "I haven't meet my real Parents yet so I'm not sure if I look like them. My adoptive Mother really doesn't look like me so I must wonder about my Parents and if I have siblings as well." Nodding his head a bit, "I think your tail looks nice with or without fluff. And whatever my tail look likes I'll be happy, though I'd probably want to find you to show you how my tail has grown because I know it will be at least longer than it is now."
Tilting his head, "Alright, so if I keep my distance he won't be annoyed with me? I wouldn't want to annoy or anger anyone." He's glad that the Dragon's head is other wise friendly because he hasn't meet anything unfriendly just yet. Tilting his head the other way he wonders what a Dragon is, "What is a Dragon? It must be some sort of creature if it has a head. Though I've never heard of such creatures, though if ones head looks like that I would be very interested in meeting a Dragon." Smiling brightly at the head then to the Mare while he introduces himself, "I'm Sir Yukio Beck, well the Sir part is part of my title though I don't often introduce myself as Sir." Looking straight at her he asks, "Now, may I learn what your name is?"

"Why thank you. I do believe this will be a very good part of my journey." She said with a smile. For being young, this colt was very well behaved and extremely polite, something she loved seeing in the younger generation. Listening to him speak of unicorns and their healing powers Aquitaine nodded. "It's true, unicorns do have healing powers, though each unicorn has a different level of healing ability. I have very little healing power due to my mutated blood, but I have learned to use herbs to heal others and when needed use what little powers I have to increase the healing of the herbs." It's true that sometimes only true unicorn healing is what a hurt Soquili needed, but Aquitaine could at least help with herbs until a unicorn healer could come and do what they do best. As he mentioned not knowing his real parents Aquitaine did wonder just how the colt, who likely would have been still in his basket at that point, got separated from his family. "Well generally speaking, foals look quite a bit like their parents, sometimes they might look more like their mother or their father, or sometimes they look like a mix of both." Of course, with the colt showing signs of mutated blood it was hard to know how much he would look like his true parents, plus she didn't know if the parents carried mutated blood or not, that would affect how much he looked like them. "Even though you don't know your true parents, I think it's great that you have an adoptive mother, and from the little time I have been talking to you I can tell she loves you a lot and that she is teaching you well." Aquitaine smiled at the colt. "Why thank you. Well I wouldn't be opposed to seeing you again when you are older to see how your tail has grown...and of course to visit as well."
Giving her head a now she glanced at the dragon head in her hair and then back to the colt again. "That's right. It's important to know he is not dangerous, he simply wants to keep me and himself safe, that's why if others get too close he makes quite the racket and may snap at you as well, but he's just protecting me. She did not want to colt to fear him unnecessarily, just know why he needed to not get too close. "Well, from my understanding a dragon is fairly rare creature. They can be large often times, and have wings. I have never seen a full dragon myself, but I have heard of them from others during my travels. I have heard they can be dangerous, but having never met one myself, other than what I have in my hair, I cannot confirm whether they are all dangerous or not." As the colt introduced himself, Aquitaine bowed her hear. "It is good to meet you Yukio. My name is Aquitaine, and he," she motioned to her dragon, "doesn't really have a name, hasn't like any of the names I've picked for him."

"Your welcome, and that's good to hear." He smiles back at her hoping he's being polite enough. Carefully listening to the part about different levels of healing he finds it fascinating that if you can use healing magic you can still use herbs to heal. "Well I'm really glad to meet you since I love learning about useful things. Maybe when I'm older I can take the time to learn about herbs used for healing as well." Nodding his head, "Oh, when I do get to meet them I'll make sure to check how much I look like them so when we meet again I can tell you how much I do or don't look like them." Smiling brightly, "I also think it's great I have her. She sure does love me and loves teaching me. Though it never seems to surprise her when I have something to teach her. Though it must have been a very large shock to have found me in a basket in the middle of the woods. It was on one of her travels so she brought me back to this area and kept me as her own. She may not be the best at it though she explained that it's her first time. To me I think she's doing a marvelous job for a first time." Still smiling at her, "By then I should have learned how to fly so I'll get to show off my tail, maybe my mane, and my flying ability. Though not really show off show off because that sounds like boasting or something. Just the sort of show off to let you see how much I've grown."
"Alright, now that I know he's safe to be around I feel much better about standing even this close. I'll just remember to stay far enough away so that I don't upset him. Other then that I think I am starting to like him, he looks cool." He smiles at the Dragon head feel much more curious then before. Nodding his head, "Alright, so if I ever meet a Dragon that isn't attached to someone I should tell you what I think about them?" Tilting his head, "You know something?" Then tilting his head the other way, "I find it strange that others only use half of my first name." Then looking straight at her, "I know it's strange to have two first names though Yukio Beck just sound good together. And the name meaning just never feels whole when the names are separated. And it's nice to know your name, Aquitaine, and I hope you find a name he likes."

"Knowledge of herbs can be a very handy thing to have." She told the colt with a smile. "Even a basic understanding of which ones can how and how can be incredibly important, and can help an injured Soquili get through pain until a true healer can be found." Her gaze shifted to the surrounding area. "The great thing is, that herbs can be found almost everywhere. So one does not generally need to look far to find something that can be useful. I think that learning about herbs is a very noble idea. But remember, you are never too young to start learning. The earlier you start, the more knowledge you can gain." This colt certainly seemed like the type who would soak up any information he was given. "I could tell you about a few herbs to get you started, if you wish."
She couldn't help but smile as he spoke more about his adoptive mother. "It sounds like you have a wonderful relationship. Learning from each other is great. There is always new things to learn, even I am learning things each time I go out on a journey." Aquitaine let out a soft laugh. "Oh I know what you meant. I wouldn't expect you to show off in a boasting way. It would be wonderful to see you flying. I know quite a few winged Soquili, my grandfather being among them, who look so graceful soaring far above. And I hear it's a great way to travel long distances." Traveling on ground could be an adventure as well, but certainly flying tended to be faster because obstacles could be more easily avoided.
"He does look pretty interesting." Aquitaine admitted, glancing back at her dragon head. He was quiet now, simply watching everything with his glowing red eyes. "I don't think it's strange at all. In fact, I think I like how Yukio Beck sounds together more than simply Yukio. You are not the first Soquili I have met that has a double name, some go by both and some go by just one. I think it all comes down to preference."

He listens carefully not wishing to mishear anything about herbs. Nodding his head here and there when he wants to show her he's still listening to her. When she looks around so does he looks around as well then waits for her to finish talking about herbs before he replies, "That's understandable seeing as then I will be able to tell the herbs apart from normal plants. It'd probably be best to also learned about good and bad plants since certain ones can be used to make poison or are poisonous. Which is why Mother doesn't let me go too far away from her. She's trying to teach me all she knows about plants though there are still a good amount she isn't so sure of. And I never thought it would be a noble idea, just thought it'd be helpful." Nodding his head, "Yes, I'm never too young to learn since I love learning about new things that can help others. If I am a Knight I plan on growing up to be a good one. One that knows what he's doing and how to help or heal others. So I'd love to learn what ever you can teach me about herbs." He smiles brightly up at her feeling more then excited to learn something so very helpful.
Nodding his head still smiling brightly, "Oh yes, we've grown so close and we both think it's great that we can learn from each other. Because like what you said there is always something new to learn no matter how much you already learned." He gives a soft laugh because he feels so good about meeting Aquitaine and all the things he's learning from her, "I'm glad you do because I just wanted to make sure just in case. I never know how someone will react to what I say so I end up tripping over my own words to try explaining what I really mean. And that sounds amazing to know your Grandfather and be able to watch him fly around." Nodding his head, "Yeah, traveling on the ground takes good while though you get to see more, meet a bunch of new Soq or humans, and have a lot of adventures that way. So I don't mind the obstacles since I enjoy finding ways around them or even over them."
Smiling, "He sure does. Oh really, I'm glad it's not strange to have two first names. That and that you like how they sound together. Mother named me that because the meaning of each name goes well together and I agree with her. Though so far I haven't meet anyone with two first names just yet. Though when I'm older I bet I will, and I'll meet plenty that will go by either one of them or both of them."
