She enjoyed the library. Lots of books, lots of information to learn, and it was usually calm. Calm was nice, considering missions were usually not calm. Today there was no mission. It was all about the research. Sherry stood, looking at a shelf filled with older books. She picked up one book after another, looking them over, flipping through the pages. "It was one of these...." she muttered to herself. "Spain, France....no not this one." She put that book back and pulled out another. "Spain, Egypt...Hm," she made more little noises to herself. "Might be this one."

On the passage that Sherry was picking up books, there was someone in front of her. The girl was stretching to her very best and her hand brushes across the bridge of books. From her appearance, that was a petite Asian, not tall enough to get a book she wanted, at least it seemed like that. Frustrated, she put down several books that was in her bosom onto the shelf and jumped for what she wanted. Eyes stared at it, her long dark hair with a lovely ombre from the tip danced with her movement. Despite of he endeavour, her height was an obstacle for her goal and she puffed up her cheeks. " Who put that book at such a high place?" she grumbled, as if talking to someone. Glaring at the shelf for a while, she started jumping again.

It was the jumping that first caught her attention. The shelves were tall, and Sherry had more than once needed to stand on tip-toe herself to reach a book. And the jumping girl, a rather adorable girl Sherry thought, was much shorter than Sherry. And jumping didn't seem to be helping the poor girl. But Sherry could help. At least she was pretty certain she could reach that book. Putting on a small smile, she put her own book under her arm and stepped toward the girl. "Maybe I can help you?" She didn't exactly wait for a reply; Sherry stepped in and reached - having to go on tip-toe and stretch, reaching for the book she thought the girl was after. "Is it this one?" she asked, pulling it down and offering it to her new mystery friend.

" Yes, it is. Thank you so much!" Shu smiled sweetly to the kind lady, noticing she was a pretty blonde that she never see before. She put the rather thick book aside, together with other books she collected and stood straight, facing Sherry. " Shu, intermediate Death trainee, nice to meet you and thanks for your help." The cheerful face beamed, reached out a hand. The books she had, from the spines, were all about ghosts and undead. Some were myths from all over the world, some were about characteristics of the undead and how to identify them, a few about difference origins of the two species. " I haven't seen you before, or on twitter." For Shu, twitter was where she got to know about most of the hunters who were strangers. The curious Asian saw the book Sherry holding, so she started a topic: " What are you looking for?" for friend-making.

Sherry smiled right back, reaching out to take Shu's hand for a quick shake. "You're welcome, Shu. I'm Sherry, Life Hunter. It's good to meet you, too." Then Sherry gave a small laugh, and maybe a blush, as she adjusted her own books to a more comfortable holding position. "Oh, I don't really use the twitter. I don't know why, I just never have. As for seeing me," she blushed a little, "I like to keep out of the way." Really, she just stayed in her room a lot. "Oh? I'm looking up information on ancient places of power. I was trying to find some specifics on a place in the northern Mediterranean Sea, but I'm not sure which book will be the most helpful." She shrugged. "I might have to go though all of them." She leaned over to look better look at Shu's books. "And you? What are you looking for? Ghosts?" It looked like Shu had quite the collection.

" Sherry, sweet wine, beloved. You've a lovely name!" Shu returned the smile with a higher Watt. " Oh oh it's nothing wrong, everyone has their own lifestyles. I like to be surrounded by and talk to others while you like personal times, as long as we're happy with it" she waved her hands in front of herself, in a little fuss. " Me? I plan to go to Halloween World for the ghosts and undead there, so finding books to study some basis. If you don't know anything and approach them, it can be very dangerous right?" She explained. " Ancient places of power? Are you looking for some artifacts?" She went to talk more but shushed by some hunters nearby. Hunching her back to apologize with stick-out tongue, she whispered: " Have you got all your books? If so, can we find somewhere to sit down and continue?" She nearly forgot they were in a library and suggested to go out.

Sherry actually blushed. She'd been told she'd had a cute name before, but no one had ever said it so beautifully. And then she smiled again, in response to Shu's smile. "Too true. We each have our own little ways that make us comfortable." Then her face changed, a look of admiration coming over it. "Oh!" She said. "Ghosts and undead are interesting, and yep," she nodded, "very dangerous." She was very glad Shu was smart enough to research things. Research kept hunters alive. "Yes," she smiled at Shu's question. "Artifacts. I only have one, personally, but I love them. They are fascinating...and so are the places they are kept." Sherry was getting exciting. It was always fun to talk about things that you liked. So, when they were shushed by those nearby, Sherry gave a quiet laugh, a little embarrassed. And then she nodded. "I do! Everything I need for now, anyway. We most certainly can find somewhere better for talking." The idea made her happy. "Let's head out this way," she said as she started walking. Meegane I didn't forget you, bby. I just got very busy for a bit. ;;

Shu was eager to know more about artifacts, but she kept it until they left the library. Carrying books she needed with both arms underneath, the two walked leisurely on a long corridor. "Artifacts are INDEED fascinating! I only heard of Excalibur in stories, how could one thinks it's genuine? They're like treasures and we're the treasure hunters. I am glad it's part of many Death hunters' jobs." The petite paused her words to spring the books slid outwards close to her bosom again, "You've to tell me your adventures Sherry, they must be exciting! Hmm, if you're not busy now?" She continue to amble forwards for a few steps before she abruptly halted. "Sherry. You said you have one? YOU HAVE OooooOOOONEeeeeEEEEeee?!" Shu yelped with a louder voice, eyes sparkling. "One of your own? You're keeping oneeeee?!" Her rephrased questions merely transmitted the same message, but it helped to show her hectic excitement when she looked at the Life hunter. GrnGriff Shhhhh, it's okay dear. See, they're having a good time *holds*

Sherry was nodding, happily agreeing with Shu. "Very fascinating. And I know! To think such things are real is just... amazing!" Becoming a hunter had shown them the truth behind many stories, but Sherry liked to focus on the the happy ones, the good ones, or the interesting ones. Like artifacts. "I like being a treasure hunter!" Technically she was researching, since she was a Life hunter, but it was still basically treasure hunting. "Not busy," she said, shaking her head. "And Yes!" Sherry was grinning as she reached down and removed a small flask from the holder on her thigh. It was small, ladylike, blue-steel gray, and had glowing runes. Really, it looked a bit like a runic device. "This, is a container I found on the Island of the Gods. It looked more like a glass vial when I found it, but the techs messed with it a bit to stabilize the Fear. That's why it looks like Runic goods." She turned it over in her hand...and then decided Shu could know the secret. "It's filled with wine. It seems to have certain healing properties, and it never runs out."

Shu was happy that Sherry shared the same feeling as she did, she took the Life hunter's hands and swung gently like conducting an orchestra and her smile was big. To describe it, it was like a little fan seeing her favourite idol or like meeting a friend that long time not seeing. Her eyes blinked at the container that looked normal except the runes, "This is your artifact a-and-and it's a wine container. It's like destiny, Sherry!" Her eyes became wider hearing the secret, "Is the wine sweet as you do? Can I smell it? Ahhhh I want to have an artifact too, something that can help others or assist me in helping others." She raised her head. "Tell me your adventure to get this, Sherry. Did you go with someone?" Her action was too big that some books were swept to the ground that she anxiously picked up.

Shu's happiness was contagious. The smile on her face only grew, and her heart was warmed by the contact of her hand. Meeting other happy people was always a comfort. "It is, isn't it?" Sherry had to laugh. She had thought it was funny that she had been drawn to the wine. "It's...a little sweet, but not too much. Here," she said, unscrewing the top, "you can smell it AND have a tiny taste, if you want." Though the small opening Shu would see a light blue glow. "It glows blue, but the taste of it is still more like a red wine." She smiled more as she knelt (balancing her own books on her knees) to help Shu pick up her books. "I went with a Death Hunter named Jake. We had to fight shadow monsters and climb a giant hillside, and then we had to cross a pit filled with burning lava." Sherry's eyes glittered as she looked at her new friend. "You know, we went because Jake had heard about the powerful items there. If you really want something... I can help you hunt for the perfect item! There are all kinds of things! Weapons and things that heal and protect...or things that just do weird stuff. But studying about them and hunting them...It's kind of my specialty."

"Can I? CAN I? I can try some?" As the same time she repeated the questions with no values added, she peeked through the hole with single eye, as if it's a kaleidoscope hiding amazing views. "Oh it's so interesting, red liquor glowing in blue! It smells like-like-er-like red wine~" Her words were meager as it amazed her. Shu poured a little puddle in her hand and sipped, immediately her face winced like a creased paper. "Hmm, it tastes a little bit sweet, but then - I guess I am not good at non sweet alcohols." The petite girl had her tongue stuck out like a girl did something wrong. The bitterness in her mouth washed away with the telling of story. "Oh Jake, a death hunter like me, I'll remember his name. Wow that sounds super exciting, you're the Miss. Indiana Jones. Don't mind me, I love adventure movies A LOT" she tittered, thank you Sherry for the help. "Even I don't encounter my destined artifact, I can have a great adventure. That's a great suggestion! Do call me when you plan to go somewhere next, if I'm free, I want to go with chu~!" Tone sincere and eager, she was ready to go anytime. "Where're you studying lately?"

Sherry had to laugh, just a little. "Yeah, I think it's super pretty, but the taste..." She smiled. "I prefer things a little sweeter myself. But it IS useful." She was still grinning as she put the flask away. "It was super exciting!" Sherry blushed at the 'Miss. Indiana Jones'. "I really loved adventure movies, too!" She nodded. "Yes! The adventure is most of the fun." Sherry paused to smile even more. "I will call you! There are endless places to investigate." She looked down at her books. "I was looking into places in the Mediterranean. The wine came from something related to Greece, and I've been to a place I think was in Egypt. I was trying to see if there was something about that region that made it special." Sherry looked at Meg's books. "Do you go to Halloween often? On missions and stuff?"

"We should watch Indiana Jones movies together when both of us are free, which floor are your room?" Despite of her glasses, Shu was quite a nerdy girl. "Thank you Sherry!" The petite girl followed the Life hunter's vision like a kitty staring at red laser dot. "Me-me-mediterranean. Ah it's as hard to say as Mississippi." She pouted. "Greece and Egypt, both are mysterious places holding great myths. It's great we've portals, we can travel all around the world. Hmm, Greece...wine...is that Dionysus? The god of wine! I love myths, Z, my weapon is a Nian, a Chinese mythical beast! Do you know that?" < Silly, don't tell everyone you know about my identity, that's stupid.> The weapon said his first word since the two girls met. Shu shook her head at Sherry's questions. "Nope, I just went there for patrol. Never in a golem and sneak into the campus region, but I plan to soon. Last time, I encountered a Conquest lady. She was beautiful but scary, like the witch in Hansel and Gretel! Talking about that story, I am jealous, they'd got to eat a giant candy house." She chirped like a cheerful bird non-stop and jumpy.

Sherry gasped and a grin grew on her face. "We SHOULD watch them! That's a great idea. I'm on the second floor, room 283. What floor are you on?" The Life Hunter smiled. "It IS hard to say. I mess it up sometime." She laughed at herself. "But yes! Both great places. And oooh! Shu. You know so much! Yes, it's Dionysus! Right on." She gave the girl a serious look. "I am definitely bringing you on my next exploration. I could use a myth expert." And then Sherry looked curios. "I've never heard of a Nian. You will have to tell me more! In fact I'd love to hear all about Chinese myths. If you have time, of course. Whenever is fine for me." Sherry gasped again. "Conquest? A horseman? They are super scary. You'll have to tell me all about it." Shu was given a very serious look. "Now I'm hungry, too. Should we stop by the cafeteria for a snack? And then.... we can trade stories?" Sherry was really liking Shu.
