At this time there are no plans to incorporate GoFusion into the overall Gaia story!

We can certainly address the current issues. Keep an eye out in the BRTS forum for a dedicated thread so we can get these bugs fixed.

Unfortunately at this time we have no plans to change how the exclusive item tiers work, sorry!

Nope, Snowflake charms will not be unsoulbound. We will be adding something into GoFusion that will cost one Snowflake charm and additional charms so that can expend your excess Snowflake charms that way.

Can the graphs in the Marketplace be altered to either include all the zeros for items in the billions+, preferably with commas, or have the segments labeled like 1mil-10mil-20mil, 100bil-150bil-200bil? I have a lot of trouble making out how much the fancier items have cost over time because sometimes prices are cut off.

I raised this before Christmas.
There was an issue with the inventory arranger. I've not seen an announcement or anything, stating it will be fixed. Although I did see one saying the fix will be delayed. Is this resolved yet?
If not, when will it be resolved?
My inventory is getting larger, yet I can't sort anything yet.
The lead for this was out of town, now that they are back, they will be addressing some of the inventory issues that have come up since the holidays. Expect some updates via staff notice in a weeks time.

We are currently working on a new messenger and we are keeping mobile in mind with it's design. It may not go out at the same time as the web version but at least we won't have to reinvent the wheel on it's infrastructure for mobile. smile

We know that there are some ads, particularly with Safari, that have been causing issues and we're looking into getting rid of those. This is actually something that a lot of other big websites are also having issues with. We are working with our third-parties to take care of this. Once we have an update we'll be informing the community.

We are continuing to work on making more items for paws. Unfortunately, artists are not robots and we cannot work around the clock! Human avatars have had 10+ years to collect its vast item inventory, and naturally will have more access to items than paw bases do. Please be patient, and rest assured the request for more paw accessories has definitely been seen.
I know waiting is hard and it's easy to get frustrated and impatient! Hang in there. heart

We do allow for naked avatars now. However, we do not allow avatars to put themselves in obviously explicit poses. Explicit poses would be defined as any pose where there is something obviously going on of a sexual nature. Anything you would see in a porn film, for example. A good rule of thumb is, if you have to question whether or not your avatar is too explicit, it more than likely is.

It's been asked in almost every AtT and it has been ignored everytime. It would really ease arena goers and make up more confident in Gaia if we could hear a yes or no or any kind of answer.

Not all questions are awnsered even if they are in proper format. isnt that kinda unfair to ask us to ask questions when alot are not awnsered? this happens alot and several people are upset that they are ignored.

There are questions that are asked that have been asked and answered previously and the answer given there hasn't changed, therefore we don't answer that.
There are questions that we simply do not have an answer to at the moment.

I want to add a pair of glasses to my avi a lot of the time but I love my sinful spice too much to let it go off an avi. As someone who smokes and has glasses in real life, why is it not possible for these to be worn together? Yes I understand the technical details of it but is there any way to fix the layering so these types of items can be used together?

Recently, my friends had cause to use Gaia's RNG to roll for a raffle, which is a common enough occurrence, especially in the BC forums. However, there were so many tickets that Gaia's RNG couldn't handle them - it caps at 1,000,000,000 (1 billion) and gives an error if you try to put a higher number there. Needless to say, as the number of tickets exceeded the RNG's capabilities, it took some time to figure out an alternative and rolling was delayed quite a bit, and the whole thing was just one big headache for everyone involved.
TL;DR Would it be possible to increase the cap for Gaia's RNG to something higher than 1 billion?

Right now we're still going through the process of adding everything retroactively with the pawstamp tag. If the paw community would like to start a list with a simple thread in SF or the Paws forum and quote me (or PM me the link), I will gladly pass it onto the art team, subscribe to it myself, and try to make sure everything gets tagged properly.

Unfortunately the offers displayed are controlled by our third-party, they display what is currently available for the day. It's possible they just have a lot of those offers to go through, which is why they continue showing them.

Can you please consider an ITEM kickstarter? Perhaps when you close down more shops to redo the prices, close all of them at once and do an event for deleting unwanted cheap items. The event page could have a place to 'buy' junk to throw for gold, so it'd still be a gold sink and would have a way to be played by people who aren't packrats like me. Also, with a lot of junk being tossed, maybe it would raise the value of some of it, too, which helps the newbies.

I've just been going and discussing with someone in here about this, so I thought I'd make a proper question to make sure it gets seen.
I just saw.. Jack I believe, answering a question about why some questions don't get answer.
Can we please add his response to the first page every week?
It would hopefully reduce confusion and anger in users that don't get questions answered if they read when they're learning how to submit questions that said questions might not get answered.
So sort of a fine print to AtS, if you will.
A mock-up in my brain:
Please be aware that all questions in Ask the Staff may not be answered.
That doesn't mean that your question wasn't appreciate or not read, likely we didn't respond for one of these reasons:
- Your question format did not follow the guidelines we set forth here.
- Your question was asked and answered already this week or in a previous week (There are archives to look back on if you're curious!)
- Your question was not something that were able to get to
- Your question was not suited for Ask the Staff

So is there ever a possibility of getting a coversion of gaiacash to gaia cold? Some of us have say 24gcash left and have nothing to use it on... maybe say you trade in 24 and you get 24bil or 2.4bil... i think it would encourage people to buy more gcash... i mean if i got 1000 gcash and got 100bil from it i would totally buy more gcash.

Hi there! A lot of paws were originally upset with The Great Race because not a lot of the paw items were put into the marketplace as a result of the choice mechanism. We decided to release them as randoms instead based on the feedback. However, this recent Poof to Paws CI was much more fun! We plan to do a few more like this in the future. 4laugh
We've also seen many requests for a paw-exclusive shop, but again unfortunately right now we do not have any plans for one, since we are limited on resources. Sorry!

Work with other users to encourage them to spend their gold on gold sink events, lower the price of items they are selling on the Marketplace, and spend their gold on various other items, games, and features! Spend that gold. Spend spend spend!

The frozen fafnir is very pretty, but literally required almost 1,500 charms to make in the end. It seems like such a waste to dispose of so many charms for ultimately a single item, so in the future would it be possible to have dragons and other items require far less ingredients?

This is in regards to your offer for a Custom Gaian SD Plus doll you currently have going. My wife would like to spend to that amount if I'd allow her, but I've put a stop to her because it would only build my evil Sith army by one miniature version of myself. I would perceive it as a viable option and worth every penny if my 50,000 Gaia Cash went toward a larger amount of these dolls. (Honestly, if you check things out, I'm quite fond of giving things away in my temple to other Gaians and this would be perfect!) Would you consider changing this from one SD Plus for 50,000 Gaia Cash to, perhaps, 25 of these things? I will sell one of week's worth of vacation time to my boss to get it if you would. Guaranteed. Once again, thanks for bringing back the Banggai Cardinals in Phin Phang.

I'm pretty sure it's reasonable to assume that the leaders of Gaia are more than willing to surrender to my army, so just go ahead and place your two-week's notices in my mailbox and we'll consider it a bloodless coup.

I want to spend up to 50,000 Gaia Cash to earn the new tier prize of a Custom Gaian SDPlus doll. 1 doll isn't enough incentive for me because I need enough to hand out as prizes for games I run throughout the year. I won't be selling them on the Marketplace, I just give things out. Is it possible to prize 25 copies instead of 1?
Ah gatchya. We're looking into the policy of how the dolls are handled, this can be better answered once that is done. We'll post a staff alert once it is.
