whoops.. I rolled only 2d20 for an ice lvl 1... guess it's just the basic spell then... Must remember to roll 3 for certain spells....

His Flare will always look like wind or ice for your rp purpose... I may end up adding in an rp tag for you this afternoon....

Myrsky, looking about and seeing nothing of interest decided to pause in his travels to practice his spells. It needed to be done and he was trying to practice while walking since it was harder to concentrate while moving across bumpy ground. He would randomly pick a spot of grass or location and try to hit it, sketching the runes as fast as he could to practice his speed.

Votzhem had decided, after the battle, to join a few of his fellow fighters in hunting down traitors and troublemakers and either capturing or destroying them. He happened to be alone now, having broken off from his group to scout around this area of the Tale for one very suspect set of tracks.

When a slicing, icy blast of magicked wind cut into him, lashing what skin was exposed with rending force, he knew he'd found them. After all, who else but a traitor would attack unprovoked?

Spotting the perpetrator, he ducked beneath their initial attack and pounced, his blades ready to slice in and end this farce of a battle quickly...

Votzhem knew it was probably stupid to charge in like this, but waiting could cost him more. He let the ice burst hit him, and put on a burst of speed, tapping into the magic of Aisha, the life force that connected him to his tribe. He kicked out at Myrsky and slashed down with his swords, not speaking, not uttering a single sound. He was focused on the fight, and how it could turn – at any moment – completely and utterly sour. Already he could see it was not going well, but he could not stop now. He felt energy flow through him, and he knew – with blissful and detatched certainty – that he was a force of nature. He could not stop himself now. He had to fight. He had to take down this likely traitor.

A Freaking idiot just randomly attacking him! Knowing that he was no match so close, Mysrky lashed out with his leg, seeking to trip up the taller man and hoping hte icy ground would aid him in this.

"Traitor? Myrsky snarled. "And what half breed makes you think I am a traitor? You attacked me first!" What bs was this insane one talking about? He sketched a large rune in the air as he skipped slightly out of reach of the blades, summoning a spear of ice that sped towards the other man.

Votzhem tried to dodge the sharp dagger of frost, but it struck him, hard. He felt it sink into the muscle of his leg and snarled, ducking in under the ice-man's guard and striking at him with his blades.

At this point he was working on instinct, but – and here he wondered – was he in the right here? He drew back to scrutinize the stranger.

”Well, who else would ye be, skulking about here, alone, after the battle?!” he asked.

Votzhem managed, just barely, to resist the force of the icicles with his blades. He sliced forward, shattering the icicles.

"Whoa." he said, sheathing his blades, "All right, all right. My mistake." he said, putting his hands up in the universal sign of apology and surrender, "Sorry about that, then. With the reports of traitors around, and all that trouble with the war... I guess those Obans got into my head, you know? We're all a little on edge." he said, sheepishly.

He scrutinized the other man with concern. "I didn't get you too bad, did I?" he asked, worried. The man was bleeding... because of his blades. Chi's breath and Aisha's loving roots, he'd almost killed a man out of a misunderstanding.

"I'm really sorry." he said again. "Is there anything I can do to make up for my error, here?"
