It was in her dreams that she could be there. With her friends. The past. The present. Everything in to one. She looked at Rodimus, and laughed about the events- when he brought up the apples. It reminded her... but when she shook it off. All she could think about is them. Rodimus was her new friend. For the past days they've been together, she learned what he did and didn't like. She learned many things about him, even things she didn't want to know about. Like being a meat eater.
They laughed and carried on until she went in to her sleep. The last things she could hear was the echos of the festival as she went off to dreamland. The last thing she saw. Was Rodimus.
"RAINBOW CRASH!" She could hear them making fun of her. Fluttershy was there- but she was too quiet to say anything. That day she made the sonic rainbow boom..... They became friends. Following all the others that they added to their little group. She could remember the good times. Happy times. That all left when she went after the dang rainbow....
Her fears though, her family life. Her visions in her dreams blurred as she honed in on her family life. Anything to get out of that house. A 'happy family'- was what they made themselves to be. Suffocating. Why she couldn't place herself in with the romantic scene was because of her father. He wanted boys. Every time she was looking for his acceptance but nothing satisfied him. Trying to compete at any flying competition, anything and everything. Her mother was rarely apart of her life unless it was to correct her on her speech, her manners as a female. All of which went out the door as she was determined to be daddy's little girl. Everything he wanted. Then he started to ignore her, and later- she became invisible. Her mother did nothing about it. Merely smiled fakely.
"Dash, you'll understand that sometimes. You just have to deal with the cards the gods have given you. If you were to clean your paws- stand straight and act like a lady. Maybe you can attract a fine young male that would be able to give you the life your father has given us. Maybe one you will learn."
But the mental abuse didn't stop there, and it wouldn't. Not until things got so bad that her mother was put in to the medical care of a neighboring ulaya. "Useless. Females."
That's why she was never in the house. Anything. She pursued the wonder bolts, a group that specialized in flying. But all her dreams... all her friends that made her feel like she was important. That she was someone... where did they all go? Where were they...
"Fluttershy..." She called out from her sleep. By now she was in some sort of weird position while in the dream world. She was spinning out of control with all the memories of her father she tried to suppress. Maybe if she acted more like a boy- she could be the son he always wanted. Maybe if she flew just a little faster. Her friends were her support system. She relied on their needing of her. As long as she was needed, she was someone to them. A friend- to the end. Her loyalty never question. Even by her father. If he would tell her to jump- how high. No matter what he did... He would come in and out of their lives. Come when they were at their lowest... only to make them depend on him once more. He refined what abandonment damage he could do.
It was dark in her dream... she slowly walked around. "Every'Pon'Ulaya... Every'Pon'Ulaya....where is." Then her father showed up in front of her. "You are useless. Nothing more than a mare that's worthless. Look at what you caused. LOOK AT YOUR MOTHER!"
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
She could feel a paw over hers. When she looked to the side... She could see a long haired mare.. Then her other paw was taken, and when she looked... It was Rodimus.
Then his face turned in to her fathers. "LOOK AT HER!"
"AYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!! ITS NOT MY FAULT ITS NOT MY FAULT!!!" She yelled out but when she woke up- she was in some awkward position and her paws were sweaty. Shaking her head and inhaling and exhaling... Scared. Next to her, was Rodimus.... her breath shakey as she slowly scooted closer to him... Staring at him as he slept.... Remembering when he saved her. Their time at the festival. Their time scavenging for berries..
Her ears went back as she slowly coiled up next to him, and pressed her nose against his arm sleeve and under his wings.
