 What a beautiful day it was today! Pix fluttered out of her humble abode with her little twine basket. A perfect day to restock on food. She angled right to head towards the market strip, a pep in her step. Shopping...what if there was a delivery service who dropped off groceries? Like little fairies...or something cuter. Like cats. Are there flying cats? How would one train a flying cat? Perhaps a lot of milk. Mmmm, milk. But then all the goats would be all milked out and we'd need more goats for our own milk! Where would we go to get more goats? I wonder if there is a whole adventure crew that goes off the island in search of goats. They'd be called, Goat Snatchers and go on all sorts of crazy adventures!
"I wish I was a Goat Snatcher." The purple haired female spoke with a pout. Instantly the pae that was walking beside her turned his head to stare at her. Wait. Did she say that out loud? Oh no, not again! "Oops..." Pix muttered as the now confused male started putting distance between the two of them. And thats why her neighbors all moved away.
Maybe the new neighbors would be part cat?

 Kobalt poked his nose around the stalls at the market, trying to figure out what he wanted to cook. Not that he was a great cook or anything, but he was trying to get better at it. Maybe he could.....not burn so much food...
Right. That'll happen. He sighed and moved to another stall, except before he could get there he ran right into someone else. "Oh! I'm sorry," he said, reaching out to steady the orangey red demon girl he'd almost knocked over. "Are you okay?"

Hey, she was in the market! That was fast. What was she doing here again?
Oh, right. Food. She moved towards a particularly delicious apple stand, when something blue pushed into her vision. "Oof!" She took a step back as the male hand touched her arm, steadying her from falling over completely. "Y-yes." That was exciting. Was the male interested in the apples too? They were delicious apples. They were so sweet, maybe she should get something tart to go with them? Like pickles. Was there a pickle stand nearby? Perhaps the blue pae would know. "Do you like pickles?"

Kobalt blinked a little. "Um, pickles? I suppose, though I'm not overly fond of the sour ones," he answered, then frowned a little at her odd train of thought. "Sorry, but....what do pickles have to do with anything?" he asked her curiously. Now suddenly he wanted pickles...
Really, if she was okay, then he should get back to shopping. She was oddly interesting though...

The smile that flashed on the demons face was bright and innocent, her violet eyes dancing as soon as he admitted to liking pickles. "I need pickles to balance the apples." Pix spoke matter-of-factly, oblivious to the fact he couldn't hear her train of thought. "Do you know a pickle vendor?" Pickle vendor...if a pae only sold pickles they'd probably have to get inventive. Like on a stick...sugar coated...What if his furniture was all pickle themed? She giggled to herself at the thought. Why stop at furniture? Why not outfits? He could wear a little pickle hat!
"I'd rather like a pickle hat too." She spoke quietly, her eyes unfocused as her mind drifted. Suddenly they snapped back onto the male in front of her as she tilted her head slightly. "I'm Pix."
