They let him out.
There were given no direct orders, only an open portal and the freedom to go as he wished. Freedom. Claws buried into the soft turf beneath him before he lurched forward, a few powerful bounds all it took before he was able to leap up onto the nearest building's facade. Scaling buildings was little different from scaling rocks--he simply needed to find holds for his claws to catch, pull and push himself upward. And should no such holds exist, he was more than capable of making some, his claws digging into the false rock just deep enough to propel himself upward.
The rooftop was not as high as some of his vantage points in the Rift, but the air was moving here. Not.... clean, but the world was open. Not enclosed, caged. Crowded.
And out here was food.
The large creature began to move, lumbering across the rooftop, his claws giving him ample means to catch himself if necessary. Lurching from the edge, he caught the edge of the next roof, pulled himself up, and continued on. Every now and then he would pause, the moonlight catching on the pale skull that was his massive head, gold and bones and horns creating a stark profile under the nocturnal light. He could still smell despite not seeming to possess the correct parts for that any longer. His three eyes scanned the world around him as he moved, the buildings growing smaller and more spaced out as he went. A discomfort for him to remain on the ground for long, he took as few moments as possible between buildings. They were clusters of human homes, with the strange metal beasts that were not beasts but he could not remember what they were--if he ever knew. They were what enabled some humans to escape if he was not fast enough, or they were great to throw at targets. That was all he cared about. Yet he had no target here, so there was no reason to lift up one of the metal boxes and toss it. Instead, Ram began to look for the next building he would scale.
Until, of course, he found the small animal.
Its tiny ears and long tail that puffed up at the sight of him amused him. He had hunted many of these before. Had many bones from them. Ram opened his fang filled maw and lunged for the small creature as it let out a shrieking yowl.

"Sailor Klymene Makeup! Lock Jaw!!" She hoped she was in time, pen still in hand, fingers pointed at the nearest part of the huge Youma as she pulled what she would have to roughly call a Weasley Henshin, after the much dissected point while casting technique demonstrated in the Harry Potter films. It was just a cat, but that wasn't the point. It could have been anything. Youma were to be denied. "Back off from the Cat, Hairy!" She shouted, hoping that the dark bolt of energy had hit something inconvenient. Quote: Lock Jaw: - Klymene Strikes her target with this attack, it creates a dark glow around her hands - the resulting effect on her target is that the bones in their nearest extremity act 'fuzed' (hands will not curl/uncurl feet act as though they are unable to bend at the ankle) target may still use the 'fused' extremities to strike with (example - back hand) If this effect were cast on the 'head' then they would not be able to open their mouth, neck would mean they could not turn their head only their whole body for the duration) - effect lasts for 15 seconds Attack may be used 2 times per battle

The seven-foot creature did not fear a tiny furry thing. Even with all its spits and yowls, how it puffed up its tail to attempt to look bigger, it was still no match for him. A swipe of his claws would end it all. The sense of something else made him lift his head, eyes swiveling in their burning sockets to turn towards the source. Energy.
The thirst for energy, for something more tempting and tantalizing than flesh and blood and bone, was all more than enough to lift him from the shrieking tiny creature and face the incoming peak of energy. Something larger than the furry creature, yet not as large as he, raced towards him. His mane puffed up, hackles rising at the open show of challenge. Claws dug into the soil, muscles coiled to lunge. Small, but more than a mouthful of fur.
Full of larger bones.
Full of energy.
Preferable prey.
The youma crouched and his powerful legs jettisoned him forward, mouth open wide to try and take a bite of the senshi--till the dark energy struck him. Snarling, his mouth snapped painfully shut, and his jump was jostled, landing back on the ground with a ruckus of snarls and the sharp sound of his own claws raking at the bone of his face and maw. Red eyes blazed all the brighter as he looked to the probable source, striking out with a clawed hand in retaliation. Dimly, he noted he would have to try and keep better track of the prey's magic....

"Aw honey, I love a fighter." Klymene grinned as she jumped backward from the swipe, claws drawing thin red lines across her leg, ripping her stocking and part of her 'skirt'. "You want another dose, fluffy?" She demanded, though it wasn;t her magic she used as a follow up, but an agressive kick aimed to drive her heel into the creatures face while its jaw was locked. The claws were still an issue, but she didn't want to use her magic all in one round. To be fair this creature was strong. She could feel it, and she might yet regret this fight, but she wanted to test her metal hard now that she was back in Destiny City. See what it could offer her for resistance.
