Liryn looked at the ruddy furred cat.
It was just the two of them now with the Order members that had gathered gone.
The hospital-people had come and gone too, taking the injured woman with them.
Liryn might have slipped away too, after all Arian should finally be home by now and he needed to speak to the dark-haired young man who was also the eternal senshi of beads - badly needed to speak to him in fact.
It was the fact that his fellow - but unfamiliar mauvian - had asked those gathered what was going on that stopped him, his purplish eyes as serious as his voice as he said "It looks like we're alone now."
HQ would probably have been better for this, but he couldn't hear anyone, nor could he sense any closeby auras.
He'd take the chance.Sunshine Alouette Hopes this works Sunny - let me know if I need to change anything

Lucasta was unperturbed by the location. She spent her evenings in the park. Discussing current events there hardly phased her.
“There is a quieter area not far from here,” she informed him. “Come. We can talk there without cause for concern.”
With random Negaverse agents appearing to throws deadly daggers only to disappear again soon after, it seemed a little more imperative to be cautious. Besides, the area Lucasta intended was a familiar one to her, and more comfortable for it.
She led Liryn down a hill to the underside of a small bridge that rested over a lightly trickling stream of frigid water. It was a quiet, peaceful place, with hardly a disruption from passing humans. There was a noticeable patch of dirt that had been disturbed near a grouping of shrubs, as if an animal had taken to resting there. Indeed, Lucasta went to this worn patch of dirt and dormant grass to sit and make herself comfortable.
“Now then,” she said, “what has happened? I assume this concerns the Negaverse attack two evenings ago.”litian It works perfectly! Thank you so much for starting! <3

Liryn had been easy enough about padding after the other cat as she led him further into the park. He wouldn't have personally thought of the small bridge as a talking place but it didn't stop him from appreciating it. It was - as she promised - quieter than where they'd been and the trickling water had the added benefit of helping to cover up their voices as they talked."
It didn't take long for the other mauvian to cut straight to the chase.
"It does" he said. "I was out trying to find answers and I followed all the Order auras. I found them talking to the hotel lady - she said she was looking for us - called us terrorists like those people on the telly do and she was holding one of those masks that were all around the place." He frowned "She called it proof, but it was making her not well" he amended it to "Not feel well that is."
His purplish eyes turned upset and his voice indignant as he continued "And she said that the Negaverse took our people, said specifically that someone with a purple crystal said to capture."

“Interesting...”
And it was, though perhaps her inflection didn't quite make it seem as if she believed it to be. She spoke as if observing something entirely casual, rather than the more serious hostage situation they now found themselves being faced with.
Of course, Lucasta had been at the hotel and aware of what was happening as events unfolded. By the end of the night, the masks had seemed like the most likely culprit as far as the humans passing out in droves was concerned. Clearly they'd had their energy drained. But the Negaverse hadn't left it at that. Quite a few agents now sported claw and teeth marks around their ankles, courtesy of one very angry cat. What Lucasta had not noticed was the kidnappings. There had been so much activity, and the hotel so crowded, flooded with screaming people running this way and that in a panic, that she'd not been able to clearly determine the Negaverse's real objective.
“And this girl... she was disposed of before she could offer up more information?” Lucasta asked.
It seemed the Negaverse was out and about tying all up their loose ends. Interesting, indeed.
“Do we have any idea how many were taken?”

"Yes" Liryn was so caught up as he was in his upset at the Negaverse kidnapping senshi and knights that the other cat's phrasing ended up going over the tabby bobtail's head. "There was a dagger." He didn't elaborate - the other cat had been there to see how bad the hotel-lady had been hurt even if he wasn't sure if she'd known the cause. "And I only heard three names mentioned - Ganymede, Valhalla and Hvergelmir. They're all Black Watch people, well Hvergelmir isn't but Ganymede and Valhalla are."
He looked at the other mauvian "I don't think they just took three though. Hotel lady said they were disappearing and something about a ffff" he stressed the 'f'sound making it sound more like fuffhf. "But she got hurt before she could finish what she was trying to tell us."

This “Black Watch” was a new concept to Lucasta—admittedly, most things were. But there was a name that stood out among the others like a bright, golden beacon of light. Lucasta bristled, suddenly much more serious than she had been only moments ago.
And she was always serious.
“Ganymede, you say?”
White hot anger burned through her feline form. Images from her dreams came back to float about in her mind's eye, images of the girl with the golden hair. For weeks she'd been searching, scouring the city day after day for some sign of her, however small. Only there was no hope of finding her now, at least not without finding the Negaverse first.
“We must find them,” Lucasta decided, as if that wasn't already a matter of fact. Then, thinking Liryn ought to know, she said, “Ganymede is mine.”
But where were they?
“Factory, perhaps?” she tried. “Forest? If we were to capture an officer for interrogation, it may be we could acquire additional information.”

The other mauvian looked even more serious at his mention of the word Ganymede, but Liryn nodded anyway "Yes Ganymede was one of the names that I heard people say were taken" he said.
"I know her from Black Watch and Athene knows her too." He looked at the other "Athene is my senshi" adding. "Well one of my senshi." Because although Athene was his senshi and the one he had searched for when he'd awakened to himself, however Liryn personally considered all of the PSSG his to watch out for and thus his senshi by extension.
He continued, voicing agreement "Yes we must find them - all of them. I will ask Athene to help" adding thoughtfully "And if we're going to get information from the Negaverse then we'd need to talk to high people. Hotel lady said people were disappearing and so that means at least Captains." Because Lieutenants couldn't teleport.Sunshine Alouette I apologise for being so slow

Lucasta accepted what information Liryn provided about himself, filing the name “Athene” away in her memory as someone who might prove himself dependable. The Black Watch she was somewhat hesitant to accept, if only because black was Chaos's color.
“A Captain should suffice,” she agreed. “Although it may benefit us more to acquire a General.”
A lofty goal indeed, but Lucasta liked to aim high. Besides, if they were able to band enough Senshi and Knights together, capturing a General would be no problem.
“Are there others you can alert? This Black Watch... can they be relied upon?” she asked. “We will need as much manpower as can be provided. Contact as many as you can and spread the word.”litian It's totally fine! Don't worry about it! <3

"Yes they can" Liryn said firmly in answer to the other mauvian's question about whether the Black Watch could be reliable. "It's a coalition" at least coalition had been the word that Thraen had used when speaking them all about it. "And senshi, knights and cats all are part of it."
His purplish eyes were serious "I am going to speak to Athene about this and he will make sure that the message gets out to the Watch members and they will help."
His voice was very certain and firm as he added "And I will help too." Because he was willing to play his part too in helping the others.

The idea of a coalition of Senshi, Knights, and Cats appealed to her, if only because it implied a large number of powered individuals working together to send the Negaverse packing. Even so, she would reserve judgement until she actually saw this Black Watch in action.
“Very well,” she said. “Speak with them and see that they are made ready. We will likely need all the manpower we are able to muster.”
And cat power. Best not to forget about that. Lucasta had every intention of being right in the thick of things whenever the time came to fight—and that time would surely come. There would be no peaceful exchange of prisoners. They would have to forcefully take the captives back or die trying.
Lucasta was prepared for either outcome.
“I request that you also keep me informed,” she said. “I will do what little I am able. Unfortunately I do not have many contacts. However, if I should come across any Senshi or Knight ignorant of the situation, I will advise them to contact the Black Watch for direction.”

"I will" Liryn agreed at the other mauvian's request that he keep her updated. "Will meeting here be okay?" He thought about it, adding "Or there's HQ I guess." He wasn't sure if the other guardian knew about HQ, knew that there some mauvians who weren't aware of it - he'd been one of them himself up until Ash had shown it to him when the two of them had discussed potential places for their particular ferry point on the night that the Black Watch had formally been set up.
"And thank you" he continued at the other's mention that she would tell those she came across who were unaware to contact the Black Watch. "You can tell them to contact Athene" he thought about it for a moment then added "Or Thraen, or Ash or Bifrost" because the the three, like Athene, were all part of the Black Watch council too.
"Oh and I'm Liryn by the way" because it belatedly occurred to him that he had not yet given his name.

“Meeting here would be acceptable,” Lucasta said.
She did not know anything about this supposed “HQ,” though she was fairly certain she knew what it was supposed to be. Even so, she preferred not to admit her ignorance. It was frustrating enough that she could not remember her life prior to coming into awareness in the city one day.
There would be plenty of time for her to become acquainted with such things later. For now, the captives were most deserving of her attention.
“My name is Lucasta,” she added. It was one of the few things she knew about herself, and she said it with a note of pride in her voice.
Then, “I thank you for your kindness,” she said. “You can find me here, under this bridge, after nightfall each evening. Do not hesitate to contact me should my assistance be necessary.”

"Until next time then Lucasta" Liryn said, before starting to pad back the way that they'd come from.
He stopped, turned for a moment and called back "As soon as we find something, I will come and let you know."
Then he turned back, picking up his pace as he did so.
It was time to head home and the sooner the better - because the sooner he reached home was the sooner he could talk to Athene.Sunshine Alouette fin for Liryn, I'll get a start up for the backdated one where he gives Lucasta an update asap :3
