She only powered because using rooftops to go home was significantly more convenient than using a busy clogged sidewalk, and so Sailor Ferris danced along from roof to roof looking for the way home, and the new senshi was otherwise highly oblivious. She was, even seeing a giant battle, blissfully oblivious to chaos versus order auras and more thinking in terms of 'jerk' versus 'too many people in similar clothes and maybe some light coloured dudes like the jerks but not jerks' - which meant really she was absolutely clueless still beyond what she learned from the cats, and even that she didn't understand. Too many auras her first time confused and too many mixed feelings from them meant she didn't know to focus, so when feelings pinpricked her from an aura she didn't pause until almost practically on top of it. Anyone whom tried stopping in high heels would attest ending a run mid-stride in heels was difficult and today was no exception, but she managed not to trip and fall on top of another senshi and looked absolutely sheepish when she realized thee was another person, trying and failing to look smaller. "Oh, I'm sorry!" Ferris said, brows knitting apologetically. "I'm - oh gosh I didn't step on you did I?! I'm still getting used to this!" Redbud-Tree Confidence booster for Callisto - Babby senshi whom is all eyes and hope for lessons.

She hadn't been taking an active stand against the Negaverse, and if she had thought that her lack of participation was having any effect on the recent events, the guilt would have eaten her alive. As it was, Sailor Callisto didn't think her presence or absence affected things too much, but she was upset when she heard of the recent kidnappings, among them Sailor Ganymede.
The least the nearly eighteen-year-old could do was take on a few patrols. In a way, Sailor Callisto almost relished this break from the routine her life had fallen into. It wasn't a bad routine - no, far from it - ; her grades had risen, she'd just applied to DCU for the fall (and every scholarship she could think of because ohgod college was so expensive, but theatre...), and just before the holidays she had managed to grab a part-time job working at a laundromat. All good things, but all beginning to blend together as time moved on.
So the patrols, which allowed her a breath of fresh air and the chance to stretch her legs a little, were somewhat welcome. At least... until she almost got run over by a senshi she didn't recognize at all. A senshi with... really... bright... hair. And were those legwarmers?
Callisto squeaked, pulling herself to her knees and then up to her feet from where she had dived aside to avoid being flattened.
"W-whoa," she murmured, then shook her head and peered at the stranger - the stranger who looked like she could have fallen out of an 80s television commercial. "Um.... hi. You're.... new to this, I.... I take it?"

"Oh man and am I." Sailor Ferris sighed, shaking her head. "I'm barely magic and there's an attack at this charity event I went to." And then Sailor Ferris paused, looking down. "Everyone magic was fighting. All I've known are kitties, and... I didn't know who to help." Ferris sighed, then perked. "You're the first superhero I met since then! What's your name She-Ra? You've got to know a ton!" And Ferris beamed again happily.

"I'd heard there was an attack, but not all of the details," Callisto murmured, then frowned. "Here, it... I don't know a whole lot, I wasn't active all that long and then I left town for a few years, but..." Hesitating, the brunette ran a hand through her hair and sighed.
"Come with me - I know somewhere we can talk in private and I can... I can explain what I know." Which wasn't all that much, but someone needed to tell this new senshi what the cats couldn't. Someone needed to keep her from ending up in the Negaverse's hands - or worse, corrupted and fighting for them.
"We're not really superheroes," she protested, lifting a hand in protest. "At least I'm... I'm not. But we're not terrorists either. We've been fighting the terrorists, and ---" Sigh. "Well, I'll tell you more when we c-can get somewhere to sit down, okay?"

Sailor Ferris nodded, thinking on locations. "A Superhero," She said. "Is someone with a gift most do not have that they use for good. Even using it for good at all is a hero to me." She paused thoughtfully before motioning. "I know a place and it's safe, too. C'mon, we can even watch some old TV-Shows." And she took Callisto's hand, moving towards home readily, entirely unmindful of if she was safe or unsafe.

"Well, alright," Callisto murmured, and let Ferris lead her along. The newbie senshi really was just that - utterly and completely new to the state of things and likely the danger that she herself could possibly be in. She was definitely at the very least uninformed, and in this conflict that could very well be deadly. Callisto was no mentor-figure, but someone had to tell her what was going on. And since she was here, it clearly fell to her. Alright. Alright, she could do this. She could.... "Old TV?" What in the world did that mean? What kind of old television? And what did that have to do with anything at all, anyway?

And Sailor Ferris opened an apartment window and helped herself and Callisto in, closing it again before powering down as if it were no threat at all, pulling some boxed sets out. "I have Jem, Masters of the Universe, She-Ra, Robotech, Gummi Bears.... And more really." She beamed. "You can explain over television!" Trinity beamed eagerly, just glad to meet anyone.

Yeaaah this girl had no idea. Callisto edged in the window and didn't power down - not yet -, instead remaining by the window and raising an eyebrow at Ferris-the-civilian. "First lesson? Don't power down around somebody you don't know yet," she said quietly. "In fact, be careful who you power up or down around at all - not everybody's going to respect your secrets and the wrong person finding out could be deadly. For you and for the people you care about." ... Oh yes. She had a long night ahead of her.

"Oh." Ad Trinity blinked awkwardly, looking down then up to Callisto. "Oh, but don't we just fight monsters?" She asked, confused.

"Sadly, no," Callisto said, and almost reluctantly powered down into Erika. "The monsters aren't just monsters. They're being used by very, very bad people, and those people are the real threat." She sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose. "They're also really, really good at twisting things to make them look like the good guys, even though they're stealing energy from innocent people... um. Sorry, I'm getting ahead of myself. I've never been the more... um... experienced one."

Trinity relaxed slowly, nodding. She's trust Callisto - the girl was kind, and then blinked. "But you know more than me by far, and... I appreciate it." She smiled. "I can trust you, at least...?" She offered a hand to shake slowly. "I mean. You're so kind an patient!"

Erika hesitated, then reached out and grasped the new senshi's hand in her own. "You're... really quick to trust," she said quietly. "I'm... I'm not, so much, but thank you for the compliment? I'm Erika Adalsteinn. And since, um... I'm standing in the middle of your home, I guess I should know your name, too?" This was a very strange experience for a senshi who was used to being left on her own, let alone a girl who had never quite learned how to trust other people. Strange, but not unpleasant.

"Well, I like people." Trinity smiled warmly. "Trinity McAllen, but Trinnaor Trini is fine if you like, Erika." The girl placed her DVDs down, then sighed. "And... To tell the truth you're the first human I've spoken to in this. I don't,... I got how to make monsterdustys 101, and that's most of it." Trinity admitted. She regarded Erika carefully, noting her shyness, and motioned. "Feel free to get comfortasble. You want a snack or drink?" She offered.

"Oh, um, water would be fine," Erika mumbled, moving to take a seat on the floor that was as out of the way as possible - some habits never really went away, especially in a new and not-yet-comfortable situation. "And you can put it on anything; I don't know... um... any of those programs you mentioned before." But she did, at least, know the very basics of being a senshi, and it was that which Trinity - Trinna - most needed right now. "So whenever you want, I'll answer any questions I can. Um... okay?"

Trinna nodded and returned with a large glass of water, sitting herself with a butterbeer soda before sighing. "What are we? I mean, really?" She asked. The confidence and self assurance faltered and Trinna's brows knit in an expression of nervousness. "I mean.... Magic... Shouldn't be real, right?"
