Welcome to the first stage of the Oneiros metaplot! As mentioned in the thread, the first portion will be a shorter section of the plot, and we will be trying to keep flexible deadlines for our owners as life takes us in many different directions.

This thread is for metaplot progress and notes for players as events happen. You can find the open RP for the waking world here.

The thread for Oneiros (all Oneiroi may participate on some level) meta RP can be found here.




Rules

• If you choose or cannot participate in this event, it will not count against you for future events.
  
  
• Pet owners of every stage are able to participate in the current event. "Civilian" type characters, when available, may be available in later events.
  
  
• Staff have the final say on matters of the shop and plot, but we love hearing feedback and any brainstorming or guesses you have about the plot. smile
  
  
• Consistent participation in the event can count for one RP requirement, including those needed for your pet to grow!.
  
  
• If you would prefer to work in smaller groups or one-on-one RP for your characters, you may do so. Follow the usual thread setup in the RP subforum, but label it [META PRP] instead. Please also include the names of the characters involved.

You are certainly allowed to play both your Dreamer and Oneiroi in this event.





All Dreamers: You have woken up without experiencing the dream that drew your Oneiroi for the first time since they began. Not only has Granny never mentioned this being possible, but you still feel exhausted. Looking at your catcher reveals no clues; no strings are broken and the item within (for pets at stage two and above) is still safely woven in place.

When you try to think back on any dreams you had, however, all you can recall is a a hazy mist. Perhaps this was usually for your Dreamer before they had an Oneiroi come take up space in their dreams, or perhaps not. These events continue to happen each night (unless the staff surprises you with something else).

What do they do?



All Oneiroi: You, like all other Oneiroi, have discovered that you can no longer reach out to your Dreamer and feed from their dreams. In fact, they can't seem to hear you at all. Even worse, you find yourself back in the Dream Realms, with no means of getting out and no sense of where you are within them. The area is cold and damp, an endless miserable gray. For some Oneiroi, this might not have been so bad, but none are anywhere near a place they would call home, or even inviting.

What do you do?

Note: Only Specters have drawn enough strength to take form and are physically seen/able to interact in the Dream Realms. Stage three pets and below, however, are still able to communicate with them and shape the world around them with their ideas.
