The time between visits was never the same.
Sometimes one agent would leave only for another to enter moments after. Other times, she'd be left to her own devices for hours at a time before someone else came to continue the questioning. Ganymede had nothing to do during those long stretches of silence but wait and wonder what the Negaverse had in store for her next.
Would Wolframite come again? Did Benitoite have word from Valhalla or Acrucis? Would she be forced to watch Valhalla beaten again, or were they busy devising other tortures? When would Laurelite make her presence known, as Ganymede assumed she eventually would?
It was always a huge disappointment when the door opened to admit someone other than the General-Queen in question. She'd been relieved the first few times, since it meant she might live long enough to put this place behind her, but then the anger started. Here she was at the Negaverse's mercy and Laurelite didn't even grant her the courtesy of questioning her herself.
Ganymede sat on the floor of her cage, cradling her left arm close as he had so often since it'd been broken again. It looked swollen and bruised. She wondered if it really did have an awkward bend to it, or if that was simply her imagination playing tricks on her. Considering her current circumstances, she was prone to imagining the worst. Why wouldn't she? She'd been captured by the enemy and was now being subject to torture.

"I must have angered them something fierce if they assigned me to this duty," General Buddingtonite said, certain that his voice may have carried and that his voice may have held some ill-sounding vigor to it, and he knew that if other high ranking officers had heard him that he may have found himself in a heap of trouble, but that did nothing to deter him from his path. He stood over his beloved lieutenant's shoulders, flapping his jaw and filling the space with his voice as he carried on. "Though I suppose that we do need to keep them hydrated, and alive, otherwise they'd be completely useless to us. Not that they have been exceptionally helpful outside of offering us a few hours of entertainment."
He was asked to accompany Lieutenant Turquoise in handing out refreshments, though he was doing little in regards to actually assisting her in the manner. He stood some small distance behind her, arms crossed, chatting away, suspecting that his voice would probably carry and rather alright with it. He had a plan in the back of his head, and so long as he knew what he was doing, all was well. To hell with those that didn't get the memo.
"Now, Turq, my dear, when we go in there, I'd like to be the one to do most of the talking, and I don't want you to get too close to the captive," Buddingtonite said, ceasing in his complaining to address the lieutenant. This part, though, he dropped his voice a bit, though not quite a whisper yet. He didn't wish for others to hear anything that remotely sounded like concern or anything that could be confused for it. "Are you sure you're feeling up to doing this? To be honest, I wouldn't want you to have to waste your hospitality on the likes of our enemy, especially this one."
Yes, Ganymede. Oh, oh, how he was looking forward to the moment he interrogated her. He simply didn't wish to have someone else there to observe him, much less it be Turquoise... it was almost a buzzkill. They lingered outside the door, as he all but whispered now. "Say the word and I can find someone else to do this duty."
