Silence began to fall over the arena after main event came to a conclusion. It was the last show before the fabled Royal Rumble, and Bragging Rights had definitely ended on a high note with that last clash. But alas, it seemed at the festivities were over and it was time for everyone to head home. The faint sound of rolling thunder could be heard throughout the room, suggesting that the show had ended just in time; fans would be able to get to their cars before the storm could hit the arena. Fans were beginning to head towards the exits, until the lights abruptly flashed off.

User ImageThe enchanting lullaby of a piano began to resonate through the room, just loud enough to barely reach the ears of those up in the rafters. It coaxed the fans to stay, if not but for a moment longer. The solemn notes were just low enough to encapsulate the attention of the audience. They weren't upbeat, they certainly wouldn't make anyone feel uplifted. However, they had a certain charm... something that allowed the show to go on for just a bit longer.

The titantron hummed to life, showing off the outside of the arena. Unfortunately for the fans, it had started raining. Perhaps it had some time ago, judging by the downpour that was falling upon the streets of Brooklyn. Cars drove by, proving to be nothing but blurs of light in the deluge. The camera faded into a different shot as the drumbeat seamlessly melded into the piano's strokes.

The new scene showed the various faces of WWF:G getting in their vehicles or climbing into their tour buses. Not all of them, of course; there were those overachievers who tried to help clean up the show before heading on to the location of The Royal Rumble. But there went Cyrus Everblaze, carrying his equipment bag and championship title in one hand and throwing it into his car. Miranda Rose could be seen beginning to exit the building, showing off her Femme Fatale title with the true arrogance of a champion. Salem Croft, the owner himself, could be seen in the background, sliding into whatever muscle car he had rented for the evening. Bad Boy... the last one the camera caught. The Would Be King, the one that would challenge for the Legacy Championship at the Rumble. He walked silently to his tour bus, not bothering to acknowledge any of his fellow employees as he walked to his transportation. He had a lot on his mind. After all... he wanted to be the one to beat Cyrus Everblaze, didn't he?

Didn't he?

The violin abruptly made its appearance known in the song, but it wasn't unwelcome. The notes seemed to match the piano with an alluring harmony. One that may mesmerized the listener. As the screen faded away to show off the streets of Brooklyn once more, the music seemed to perfectly align with the pouring rain. Everything that the eye could see was clouded by the shroud of rain. A lightning bolt streaked across the night sky, illuminating whatever the city lights did not. A roll of thunder soon followed after it, shaking the skies with its fury. It demanded the attention of whoever heard it, but the music still overpowered the storm's cry for attention.

As the music came to an end, the camera shifted one last time to show off a view of the city from on top of a tall building, exposing the rooftops and the distant buildings further inside New York's heart. The rain fell endlessly, even as the last notes hummed through the air. Once the song ended... only the sound of the pouring rain could be heard.

The camera panned backwards as the rain fell, slowly pulling a figure into the shot. A tall, dark figure stood at the edge of the building, his left boot placed on the edge of the building as if the figure was going to stand on the ledge. A cold sigh echoed from the figure, almost inaudible in the pouring rain. The head of the figure tilted back to look at the sky, soaking in the downpour willingly, it seemed. Finally, the figure pulled the foot away from the edge, turned... and began to walk away...

After all, the Rumble was soon ahead.
