If I got one set up and ready to run, would anyone have interest in a superhero vs super villain RP?

What kind of heroes are we talking about? Like, preconceived heroes, or heroes of our own designs?

Definitely our own. If somebody were to just pull a character design from an existing one, that'd be just fine too.

*Strokes chin* Very interesting. That sounds like something I could get into. Now, superheros are known to quickly get out of hand, what kind of rules and limiters would there be?

If you're referring to powers, Time Travel is typically banned, because that just makes things crazy. I usually suggest any powers be related in some way, or have some kind of theme. I'm thinking three powers would have to be the max. If you're talking about plot/location, the last time I did one of these, the villains took over New York City, then went on to conquer the entirety of the U.S. so... Very few limits. xd

That could be interesting.

Ehhh...... I really try to stay away from anything game related. It gets weird and confusing, and usually has to have a whole extra set of rules for it.

The powers thing sounds reasonable. And I'm sure all characters need to have proportional weaknesses. And the location sounded alright, but you can go even farther and use a multi-verse theory. Maybe pull heaven and hell into the mix.

The heaven and hell thing sounds a little strange to me. Care to elaborate a little more?

Well, for starters. angels and demons can be born just the same as anything other conceptually born life form. Like, there doesn't need to be the soul of a dead person to be reborn to yield an angels or demons. Just men and women. Naturally, angels would tend to be heroes, and demons would tend to be villains, but there's no reason there can't be a few fallen or dark angels, or a couple of demons with consciences. Also, through specifically gifted individuals, as well as angels or demons, these worlds can become accessible. Again, no dying required.

Hmmm, maybe we could work that in. It seems like a weird addition to the theme though. =P

I mean it's like, here's a bunch of super heroes! And here's a bunch religious beings. It just seems strange to me. But I guess, you know, Marvel... So it's not that out there.

Angels and demons don't have to be religious beings. I mean, angels might pray, but so does 65% of the world's population. The way I see it, they're just super people that allow people to not have to rely solely on humans, because let's face it, we're a freaking boring species compared to what COULD exist.

Nonononono, that's not what I meant by 'religious beings'. I meant they're beings based in the writings and ideas of religions.
