Ways to evolveIf a Pokemon has multiple stages, then they are capable of evolving.
Automatic evolutions: Pokemon that automatically evolve by level require no activity from you to evolve from stage 1 to stage 2.
A Pokemon that is RPed will evolve faster.
Request a growth by posting here.
A 3-stage Pokemon will require roleplaying to reach the 3rd stage.
Requires 5 normal RPs to evolve to the final stage. Alternatively, 10 battles (2 battles = 1 RP), or a combination of both to get to the final stage.

Evolution by item: Some Pokemon require items to evolve.
Check the Pokemart for a list of Pokemon that require items.
Request the item here.
Your request will be approved when staff verify that all growth requirements have been met.
When approved, start a trade with the shop mule. Evolution by happiness/trading: RP is mandatory for Pokemon that evolve via happiness, regardless of how many stages it has.
Evolution by happiness and baby Pokemon require 5 RPs to evolve the first time, and 8 RPs to evolve the second time if another stage is available.
If your Pokemon requires happiness in the daytime, RPs must be set in the day and likewise for nighttime.
If your Pokemon has multiple evolution routes, state which you prefer when posting the growth request.

RP qualificationsEach RP must be at least 15 posts, and at least 5 should be made by YOU with your Pokemon outside the pokeball.
Completed battles count as 1/2 an RP.
Each post must be at least 2 sentences long.
RP event participation with the Pokemon counts as one RP.
Solo RPs involving the Pokemon need a minimum of 300 words to count as one RP.

Additional evolution rulesYou MUST complete all growth requirements before posting a growth request.
You must own a Pokemon for one month before evolving it.
There is a one month wait before a Pokemon can evolve again.
If your Pokemon has an Everstone equipped, posting a growth request will remove the stone.
Incomplete RPs may be posted if you have at least 5 posts.
Pokemon contest RPs and battles count the same as normal RPs/battles.
If you have additional RPs, it will put your Pokemon higher on the priority list.
RP/battles are required for old pokemon from the first version of the shop to evolve.

Check back in the Growth Request thread for approval.
Approvals, uncert drops, and cert drops are not notified.
