You have encountered two Unfriendly Thugs! Other trolls can assist in this fight, as long as there is an ic reason for them to join in. The mechanics work similar to regular boss battle, although this could be classified as a mini-boss. Once the mini-boss is at 0hp, this can be counted by all trolls participating as a battle rp for growth. If you have any questions, please PM the mule!
Unlike regular boss battles, the mule will not be posting new rounds, and players can simply post as fast and often as they want, taking turns to attack one at a time. Each time every player in the fight has had a turn to attack the mini-boss once, a new round begins. At each new round roll the standard 2d6 and use the table below to see what damage you've taken. As always, the first number is what you should check for your damage, and the second is the amount done to the mini-boss.
THUG STARTING HP: 50
The two tough trolls bar the narrow street in front and behind of you. "There's enough trouble in this city right now -", rumbles one of them " - without trolls like you causing trouble. It's important to learn, early-like, that if you cause trouble, you get trouble in return. Ain't that right?" The other one nods silently, and cracks it's knuckles. "Think of this as a free lesson in life, kid." Silent nod. "And learn to keep your mouth shut." They step forward, and block out the light with their bulk.
If you rolled a 1, the two brutes surround you and start to clobber you with fist and foot alike, only stopping to admire their handiwork. Their heavy fists have left a nice pattern of bruises blooming all over you. Take 4 dmg.
If you rolled a 2, one of the bruisers stands back and begins to roll a niccotine-laced tree-pulp cylindrical smoking device. The other grabs you by the collar, lifts you up, and smacks you against the wall a few times. Take 3 dmg.
If you rolled a 3, the thugs take it in turn to kick sand in your face, and laugh. Take 2 dmg.
If you rolled a 4, one of the thugs makes a really nasty comment about your lusus. You're wounded emotionally, what a jerk! Take 1 dmg.
If you rolled a 5, you manage to keep some space between you and their menacing fists. Either that or they aren't really trying hard.
If you rolled a 6, you manage to get some control over your jittering nerves. Who do these guys think they are?! They aren't even in uniform! Your next attack is loaded with righteous outrage, and does double damage.
When the mini-boss or all trolls have reached 0hp, please look in the spoiler below.
Mini-Boss at 0
The first thug stands back and puts his hands up. "Woah there bud, we didn't realize we were dealing with a real spitfire! Ha ha - we was just kidding around, right?" The second troll nods with a little more emphasis than before. "No need to get hung up over it, seeing as you put up a pretty fair fight. Cause all the trouble you want." With that, the two trolls turn and take to their heels as fast as their wounded machismo will let them.

"And now, hand it over." The two thugs go through your pockets, emptying them of everything valuable you have on you. If you don't comply, one lifts you up by the feet and shakes you up and down until everything has fallen out. Jewellery and trinkets are snatched away, and you're left in a defeated heap in the alleyway. Better go check around at the pawn shops to buy your valuables back before other trolls get their hands on them! As soon as you can stand up.

TAMIYA: 19/20 (novice agility trinket b)
"How dare you bulgeheads speak to me that way," Tamiya spat. She pulled her club immediately as they advanced.
They threatened her moirail. They stood for all that was despicable.
And, they had the gall to mock her lusus? Disgusting. They should be punished. If the governing body did not care to teach these knaves some respect, she very well would. Tamiya, though suffering from a bruised ego, managed to lift her weapon and deal a hefty blow to one of the drones. Even she knew she was a bit outmatched, though -- her companion should be able to help, but he was much too young.
"Sinter!" Shouted Tamiya. "Get back! I will handle these pipe organ buffoons."
[ Sinter jumped at the sound of the strangers in the otherwise empty alleyway. After the fervor of the protesters, he was more surprised there were people on the government's side more than anything. Still... He moved closer to Tamiya. Safety in numbers, after all!
As if reading his mind, the ground began to tremble as Lophie scrambled about beneath the impromptu battlefield--trying to fit herself into the alleyway above--and throwing the thugs off balance in the process. ]
"Kkch--AHH!" Tamiya was set off balance by Sinter's enormous lusus. She didn't see her around - was she really just underfoot? Unfortunately, the distraction led her right open to being attacked. Off-guard and now finding herself being pummeled by the thugs, Tamiya spat and fought back.
"No you do NOT!" She shrieked. The bruises on her arms would not stop her from cracking one of their skulls in!
[ "Tamiya!? TAMIYA!" Sinter couldn't see what was going on from behind the two trolls bearing down on Tamiya. He felt so useless--small and unarmed as he was. "You can't do this! She's a juggalo! She can have you bastards killed for this!!"
If nothing else, Sinter's shrieking served to agitate Lophie into clawing her way up from underneath the attackers. ]
"PPphbbt--!" Sand. Ugh. Lophie and Tamiya alike were afflicted with the nasty stuff, but the smaller Tamiya got the worst of it. This was awful for her make-up. She heard Sinter screaming in the distance and felt proud.
"THE BOY IS RIGHT!" She shouted between blows. This was disgraceful. "I WILL HAVE JUSTICE AND YOUR HEADS, YOU MEATSUCKING THROBHARDENING TENTPUPPET ******** was too busy screaming that she didn't have as much time to beat the two, but fought hard nonetheless. Nearby, Kabukidad pricked up his ears. Perhaps it was time to wander towards his charge from his patrol of the center.
[ Sinter was about ready to charge into the fray himself--complete lack of weapons be damned. Thankfully for Sinter, Lophie finally revealed herself in full. She breached out of the sand between Sinter and the thugs, crashing down between the two with a bellow. Her bulk effectively sealed Sinter off from the fighting, which he would only be appreciative of much later.

Apparently, Tamiya's noisemaking was none too pleasant for the thugs. They turned on her quickly, laying down a harsh beatdown that she would not soon forget. Tamiya's rage built.
Lowbloods. Worse still, drones. She was at their mercy - did they not realize that they would serve at the execution block for this? They required justice, and oh how she wanted to give it to them... But she was too weak. She was barely older than a child. It made her sick.
Tamiya fell to their ground during the beating, only saved by the distraction of her lusus -- the thugs, taken off guard, wasted their energy on her fox-like parent. He whisked away down the alley shortly after. Tamiya was on her own. Anger built inside of ********... YOU!"
[ From behind the wall Lophie was providing, Sinter could only catch glimpses of the action. This served more to frighten than soothe him. He couldn't tell if Tamiya's shouting was good or bad.
Sinter could have sworn he heard Kabukidad swish through the alleyway at some point, but he was too trained on the girth of his own parent to properly take notice. If Kabukidad was in the area, why wasn't he HELPING?
Meanwhile, the other side of Lophie was entirely claws, mouth, and red strobing light. Her bulky claws didn't allow her much finesse in how she attacked the crowd of people before her, but she was doing a mighty thorough job regardless. ]
Tamiya spat sand out of her face. There was a shimmering mask of dirt lightly coating her make-up. It cave her a rather unnatural, tan complexion on top of the white make-up. Her eyes underneath were bloodshot with rage.
"This is how a clown does it, ******** low chant bubbled from her throat as she advanced again. They had it coming. With any luck Lophie would crush them, but she would make sure she delivered her righteous blows in time.
"Carnival of Carnage. Carnival of Carnage. CARNIVAL OF CARNAGE. Take a spin or I will snap your neck... The clicker has landed, let me check...The Jokey, hey it is not bad at all... We just cut your face off and slap your skull..."
[ Sinter found himself sighing with relief as he managed to pick out ominous slam poetry lyrics from the scuffle. If nothing else, Tamiya was feeling well enough to chant.
The calm of Sinter knowing his moirail was okay allowed him space to feel dread for whatever Tamiya was gearing up to do to these people. Maybe it was for the best he couldn't see after all... ]
The thugs seemed... A little off-put by Tamiya's display. Not to mention the huge, amphibious(?) toad-like monster walloping them with all she had. They literally backed off when Tamiya stepped in towards them. "What is the matter, my spiked jester bitches?" She inquired. "********, THWACK, CRACK.
"Is going on?"
She breathed heavily. She'd been insulted. Feeling her hands cramping, Tamiya loosened up and continued her praying. Everything was on edge from her hair follicles down to her her fronds.
"SINTER. HOW DO YOU FARE?" She yelled back at her redblooded companion.
[ "T-Tamiya? Tamiya! I'm fine..!" Sinter called back from the other side of Lophie. He certainly couldn't complain relative to what was going down at the other end of the alley. At least... what he could imagine based on the sort of wet thumping sounds and pained shouting.
"Are things... Are things going well?" He called back. He wasn't sure what tone was appropriate for this kind of... event.
Lophie grumbled in response and stomped her claws. ]
After a rough start, Tamiya and Lophie were in control. These bastards weren't even in uniform.They had no right to be enforcing any kind of misguided battle scenarios in the premises. The lowbloods had a holy right to make their scene, as misguided as they were, and protecting them from the dangers of the world and their mortal enemies took precedence. It was obvious. These monsters had no care for any of this - they were thugs, pure and simple.
After the fight, Tamiya would make sure they were handed over for due punishment. She would quite like to attend their executions and precede over their funerals, indeed. Just to make damn ******** sure that they were going to the right place. No one in her circle (or on Alternia, really) had a clue what these funerals she spoke of were - corpse parties and the like were delegated to those with faith, such as her. They were important staples of spiritual stability!
It was a beautiful thought. She would pray for these hopeless losers. In the meantime, Tamiya used the peak of her rage for a smashing hit with her weapon.
