Personality: Em is a loner, living in a tiny apartment she can barely afford with her tiny salary at a job she dislikes. She has no time or money for friends; instead, she reads or chats online when she has a night off. She doesn’t drink, smoke, or have anything to do with bad influences. She could end up being the quintessential ‘good girl’ what with her skirts to the knee and her shirt buttons done up, but her seething misanthropy completely offsets it. A lot of the time she doesn’t like people- people are dangerous animals who will trample you as soon as look at you - but in actual practice she does care about people. She’s just absolutely terrified of them. She can’t cook, she’s not good at cleaning and she has two parrots who keep her company.
Personal History: Em went to school and started work in a dead end job which had seemed, at the time, to be a stepping stone to a better future. University did not agree with her, being too afraid to open her marks for assignments due to her anxiety for failing. Now she tries to get a better job and keep her apartment. She’s prone to huge sweeps of luck- she might have two weeks of the worst luck in the world- three hospital visits and a vet bill bad luck- and then have crazy good luck- winning tickets to a concert and making a friend. But neither luck lasts long.
