Patrolling was frustrating work sometimes - and, sometimes in more unfortunate cases, it was downright dull. There were plenty of occasions in which nothing at all occurred, and the night was spent silently wandering around the streets of Destiny City like a ghost.

Aurostibite had to wonder if this was one such evening.

So far, he'd only energy drained one civilian - a young man who'd left a bar staggeringly drunk, leaving all of his inhibitions behind as he'd stumbled laughingly into the alleyway where Aurostibite had been standing. He'd taken advantage of the situation, leaving the man sound asleep on the ground, but that had been hours ago, and now there was hardly anything happening.

He took a few steps and rounded the corner of another street that would lead down a lamp-lit corridor of shops. They were all closed, dark inside and their windows covered in a nighttime frost, and Aurostibite's eyes moved absently down each one as he paced quietly, slipping from shadowy corner to shadowy corner.

There was only a short time until he'd go back home; perhaps he'd make it an early evening.

Despite his sphere of power, Pollux loathed the cold. His sash was tied around his one arm, helping, but not by much. He was cold, a coat would just catch on his uniform, and to top it off, he knew if he kept to places he'd be warm he'd be a sitting duck.

No way to win.

So running and jumping were the next best options. Movement to keep the body warm, to just fend off what he could. The luck of the night was not on his side however, as he caught sight of a passed out drunk and what looked to be an officer of the negaverse fleeing the scene. In his opinion this was a trifle, nothing to be bothered with, but he knew better. If you didn't stop them now, you were letting they grow, get stronger, and eventually become a threat.

So, Pollux followed.

Yet the officer vanished.

Pollux was ready at that point to call it a night, not feeling up to it when naturally, a different officer came into view. Coming into view by what little light the streets provided, he had no idea that this was the officer who'd drained the man from before. They were all the same to him. "Paranoid?" He said, noting how the man had been looking and lurking.

Down the street, Aurostibite could sense something - a power signature that started off quiet and grew steadily more pronounced as time went by. He lifted his head and glanced in either direction, but all he could see was the swirling mist of the cold night air.

Still, there was someone else out there. His eyes narrowed a little.

A few moments later, the voice came from behind him, and Aurostibite slowed his steps until he came to a complete stop, his black-gloved fingers curling and uncurling against the palm of his hand.

"Perhaps," he said evasively, and turned around, lifting his chin.

"Who are you?"

Pollux shrugged. Hands rubbed to warm them as he debated how he should introduce himself. Quickly enough, he settled for the usual standard.
"Pollux. Though I don't know if it would mean anything to you or not."

For some, it was a curse, spat alongside his brothers name, other, remained ignorant of the relation. The super senshi could never be sure, and with their recent call to arms? He figured his reputation was utterly black among the agents.
Street lights that remained out helped the both however, giving them a place to fight in relative peace should it come to that.

"So, how many have you killed tonight? I don't see any blood so I assume they were clean deaths?" He liked to hope they were.

It was at this moment that Aurostibite sincerely wished that he had a better weapon than a simple - and embarrassing - paper crane. Mintaka had tried to tell him that it was not so shameful to only have a bit of paper as one's entire arsenal; but seeing as how he had to fight with them, Aurostibite tended to think differently.

His expression darkened. "It means nothing to you. If that was an attempt to be impressive, I'm afraid you have failed, since I see no particular inference as to what that is referencing."

Aurostibite lifted a hand and brushed aside a few curls that had fallen into his eyes. The fingers of his other curled, pressing against his gloved palm until he'd formed a fist.

"None," he answered flatly. "Not that it's any of your business, senshi."

"...Less impressive, more to gather who knows of me and my position." He smiled, a tiny spark of smugness leaking into his eyes. "Its nice to hear that the negaverse still keeps their agents so ignorant-" His gaze flicked to the fist muscles tensing as he knew what they'd do next. It was a timeless dance. Aggressor and and target- Foes from two sides ready to fight for what they assumed to be right.

"I make it my business." A simple shout of his attack and a thin layer of frost was sent the agents way- not much for damage, but enough to chill. An opening for possibility.

Chilling Storm
A five foot radius is covered in a thin layer of frost. It is frost and not brittle ice at this stage, and those caught in the AoE would find frost forming on them selves as well as the environment. It effects anyone caught in the attack, Pollux and his allies included. It melts and acts like normal frost otherwise, meaning, depending on the environment the ice may linger, or melt very shortly. Once per battle. Cannot attack a second time.
He can shake it off and slap a b***h if u want u no we coo

His tone was flat.

"Is that supposed to intimidate me?" Aurostibite asked. "Because if so, you've done a poor job of that. Whether or not I've heard of you has no bearing on my view of you; even if you are as well-known as you say you are, it doesn't make you any more or less impressive. You are simply a senshi, and that's enough for me."

He'd almost leapt forward, but restrained himself; and now he almost wished he had not. There was a yell from Pollux, and then a blast of cold air hit Aurostibite, ice crackling beneath his feet, over his arms, partly on his hands, creeping up his neck. He let out a hiss of surprise, the frost sinking into his gloves and making his fingers shiver from the cold, and he forced his legs to move, rushing forward and aiming his fist toward the other man's gut.

Whether or not he would actually make the shot was questionable, but at the very least he could try.

Damn, while he knew he would have to fight, he often forgot how much simple impact could hurt. Grunting as the wind was knocked out of him, Pollux wondered as to what might be worth feeding to obtain insight on any negaverse workings- but as it was?

He could do that at a later date. His better bet was to simply fight.

"Just like being negaverse makes you trash." He couldn't help the jab, spitting as he got his second wind. A punch thrown, he'd need more than fighting skills to kill- and killing agents was always the 'goal'.
As his sibling had put it.

Aurostibite took a few quick steps backwards, though the cold still bit at his limbs, making him feel slower witted than he actually was. He shook one of his hands to try and dispel some of the frost, but it clung obnoxiously to his gloves, already permeating through to the skin beneath.

"I think you've gotten that reversed," he snarled back, but Pollux's hit was straight to his stomach, and Aurostibite staggered, gasping for breath. Without waiting for actual time to recover, he lunged forward and threw himself at the senshi, trying to tackle him to the ground.

It was messy and uncouth, but he would take what he could get right now.

"If being perfect makes me trash I suppose I'll just have to live with it." He mocked. It was stupid, foolish of him and the agent got him, the pair tumbling to the ground.

Viciousness set in, his hands going for the eyes. "I'll freeze your eyes, let them pop and bleed as they thaw and take my time to kill you for what your kind have done." He spat, hands reaching up as legs kicked. "I'll make all you ilk suffer for what they've wrought."

An incredulous laugh escaped him.

"Perfect?" Aurostibite repeated, astounded by this senshi's sheer gall. "Is that what you're calling yourself? I can't believe that there's anyone stupid enough to consider themselves even remotely close to perfect, but it seems I have been mistaken."

He was still breathing heavily, and gloved hands grappled with the senshi's wrists, trying to force them away from his eyes, a dull feeling of fear settling into him because his vision was something that he prized, that he prided himself on. A finger came too close, scratching a line down the side of his face, and one of Pollux's legs slammed into his gut, sending him toppling sideways.

"Find someone else to kill," Aurostibite hissed where he lay, and kicked out, trying to scrabble to his feet. He stumbled and staggered, still winded and not entirely himself, but he needed to get away, because this senshi was bad news.

He dropped down to one knee again, heaving for breath, the cold beating into his lungs.

A low rumbling chuckled built in Pollux as the agent fled, and Pullux wondered if it was worth it to hunt him down, make good on the promise but the actions in those few seconds had been enough.

Frost was not a threat.

Yet it could get under the skin all the same, and send a chill up your spine all the same.
That, Pollux supposed, was the poetry of his powers.
