The morning air was a bit crisp today in town, but for Meixiang it wasn't much of a bother. Though she still dressed warm as it was just habit. Her white hair stood out against the black, gold and purple colors that made up today's outfit. She had planned to do a bit of shopping today, heading out a bit early to beat the shopping rush.

As she wandered down the streets she couldn't help but notice the subtle sound of music that grew louder upon her approach of the building the Reaper was sitting upon. The ghoul began to hum the tune, it was almost infectious. She had to control herself from just busting out into a dance which she was apt to do sometimes.

But the urge was just a bit too strong today. It had been a while since she had seriously danced. So once she had reached the building Meixiang stopped briefly. It was here the music was loudest. She continued to hum as her body began to move in time to it.

No one was around anyway so who could care about a ghoul dancing in the street this early in the morning?

Having been so drawn in to dancing, she hadn't noticed when Roch approached. The music changed a bit and sped up so her movements picked up the pace as well but she never missed a step. Impromptu dancing was always fun. Though she didn't mind dances that required specific steps and moves.

But just making up things as you went always made her feel free.

She made a quick turn in Roch's direction when she finally noticed him there. Normally she wouldn't have minded an audience but his appearance was so sudden that it startled her. Breaking her step the ghoul nearly tripped over her own foot.

Slender fingers grasped his arm as she caught herself, how embarrassing. Nearly falling flat on her face in the middle of the street. As soon as she righted herself she tugged on the bottom of her sweater. A smile on her lips as she waved a dismissive hand in front of her face with a laugh.

"It's fine. Just didn't expect anyone to drop in so suddenly. Guess I was just so caught up in dancing to the music anyone could have snuck up on me." She tilted her head slightly at his outstretched hand before she reached out her own and gave his a shake. "Meixiang, a pleasure."

A thoughtful look then as she tried to recall his name or his face. But so many had come and gone from Amity it was hard to keep track of people unless they were close to her. "Mmmmm did you go to Amity? I'm a year three there."

"Oh wow yea that's quite a bit ago. Seems like you were on your way out as I was on my way in." She grinned. Time at the school had flown by so fast, now she was working her own way to graduation. Though it was a bit slow coming, she hadn't put too much effort into it lately.

A habit of noticing ghouls? That was a curious statement, perhaps a bit foreword but she brushed it off.

"Sure breakfast sounds nice. I didn't really eat anything before I left the dorms this morning. I wanted to beat the early shopping rush." A few places around town were having sales, but she figured she still had a bit of time before the stores opened. "Well I can try and fill you in as much as I can. It's still standing at least."

She followed him to the diner, giving a small shake of her head as she walked through the door with a small nod of her head in thanks to him. "No I haven't. I've passed by it a few times but it always looks so busy. So I guess the best breakfast in the jackin world is an appropriate statement."

Meixiang stopped in the entryway to wait for him to join her.

The ghoul merely smiled and shook her head at his comment about them pinching his a** but said not a word.

Slipping into a seat across from him she removed her sweater. The black and gold oriental outfit she wore beneath only furthured to make her stand out against the decode of the restaurant with its long sleeves and butterfly pattern. "Just Mei is fine."

Ah, now there was a question she could easily answer. It's all she had ever wanted to do. Lacing her fingers together she leaned her elbows on the table. "I want to be a dance teacher and open my own studio to teach the little spookies in town. It's not quite the conventional job but it's my dream."

"Yes. Ever since I was little I've always been in some kind of dance thing. Some traditional dance, some non traditional. There is a lot of dance in my families culture as well that I've learned growing up. Many old tales told through dance," She shifted slightly in her seat. "Not a lot no, but it's a good activity for scarelings who have a lot of energy."

Meixiang hadn't traveled much on her own outside of Halloween town. Of course, when she was younger there were escorted trips to other families compounds but that was about it and only done for special occasions. "No, I can't say I have." The ghoul rested her chin on her hands. "What kind of dancing did you learn?"
