"...following sports, the latest report on the impact of Destiny City's strange terrorist activity on pop culture and social media. Are these youngsters the newest thing in cool, or are they playing with fire? Back to you, Dan...
It's hard to imagine that the war going on in Destiny City doesn't spark a whole new brand of memes, hashtags, and other smaller social cues. for the civilians doing their best to dog it out on the sidelines. These are mostly meant to be headcanons about what it means to be a civilian caught in the crossfire, but if anyone would like to use them as a prompt for rp, then by all means, do so! (And post them here I'd love to read about people interacting with the meta of having sparkle mages and dark crystal soldiers tear up their town). You're also welcome to make up some ideas of your own and post them here, everyone has an equal voice in the world of memes.

In light of the war-torn history of great parties being interrupted by terrorist activity, it has become something of hot couture among the upper crust to stage these interruptions for the entertainment of their guests. At first, the joke was simply to have someone dress up and knock a few things over drunkenly, but a few forward-thinking debutantes have actually put out ads seeking 'real costumed vigilantes' as a surprise for their latest event. This couldn't possibly go wrong...could it?

In the latest Code of Conduct, Destiny City Public Schools added an addendum to their dress codes, stating that tiaras were no longer acceptable headwear in light of associations with 'certain terrorist groups'. This poses no big change to high schoolers, but certain elementary school kids are heading to classes with broken hearts this week.

Several social media accounts have opened up...claiming to be senshi or knights. Blurry vines of kids running across rooftops or challenging vague lumpy 'monsters', tweets about having HQ meetings in the Earth's core, social justice rants about the dangers of anonymity in the war. Some of these accounts have got to be fake, but...what if some of them are real?
