"Tch. I don't have time for this." "Idiots! Can't you do anything right!?"
After breaking away from the group in front of the school's gates, Shaun decided to tour the halls of the school. Eventually finding himself at the library, keeping up his mental static, just in case the other psionic was following him. It was a tiring task, thinking up a bunch of random thoughts and noise, all just to keep one person out of his thoughts. Pushing the doors open, he took his first steps into the library, his eyes scanning the immediate area for anything of interest. The library was a lot larger than he originally thought it would be, with many aisles filled to the brim with books, and there was even a second floor to accommodate the school's large collection of literature. It was rather surprisingly to see a library this big, as the Order's library was barely a fraction of the size.
Passing by the front desk, Shaun began to search for the record room, if he could find that, he might be able to simply research the school from there and be done with his mission before it had really begun. It didn't take him long to discover the door with the brass plaque next to it reading: "Records", but he was hesitant to test his luck, as he was certain that the librarian would be nearby. He'd have to find a way to get in without being spotted, or at least distract the librarian long enough for him to get in and get back out with whatever he could find. Shaun let out a sigh of annoyance when he realized that this task would be tougher than he expected, deciding that he would return here another time and begin his search then.
Turning away from the door, Shaun walked over to a nearby table, placing his bags to either side of a chair he was now sitting in. Digging into the bag, the youth withdrew what appeared to be a small black tin with several Roman numerals on its surface. What he retrieved from the tin looked similar to playing cards, but to those who studied the art of fortune telling, they would know that what he had were much more powerful... at least, to those with the right abilities.
"Out of my way, wretch!" "Don't. You. Dare. Touch. Me!"
