The city was still abuzz even as the midnight hour approached and Aludra was watching it all from up high. She’d chosen the tallest building in the shopping complex and was huddled on the edge, where she could remain unnoticed and watch everyone go about their business. Families, singles, couples; all rushing about getting last minute presents, it was nice to see.
She wasn’t here to patrol exactly, though if anyone Negaverse agent appeared and thought taking energy from these busy people would be easy, she’d have something to say about it. What she was mostly here for was just a happy distraction, someplace to sit and relax and be part of Christmas without actually being down there.
Although she was getting rather cold now and it looked like it was about to start snowing.
