Name: Siddalee Smith
Nickname: Sid, Sidda
Age: 19
Eyes: Honey-gold.
Hair: Pale as sun-washed wheat.
Skin: Creamy and fair.
Height: 5' 6"
Likes: Spicy food, roller coasters, small or young animals, basketball, chocolate and sweets, loud music, window shopping and dreaming of dresses she can't afford.
Dislikes: People who can't "loosen up" or relax, negativity, skinny jeans, mustard, eating the same food two days in a row, cell phones, politics, winter.
Personality: Sidda has two speeds. There's slow Sidda, the laid-back "cool girl" with an unmovable sense of optimism. You'll find her lazing under trees cuddling a stray cat in one hand and holding a cigarette in the other. Then there's fast Sidda, the Sidda you made the mistake of grabbing a cup of coffee with. She'll drag you from the park to the arcade to the bar, all in one afternoon and she'll still have the energy for more adventure. Whatever her speed for the day, Sidda always keeps a smile on her face and a light in her heart to guide lonely wanderers to her warmth.

Items: A small brown satchel with seemingly endless amount of food. When asked if it has magical properties (because nobody could possibly pack so much food with them) Sidda will often brush the subject aside, much to the chagrin of the inquirer. No, Sid is not Mary Poppins- in truth, Diana gave her the satchel upon Diamond's awakening, as Sidda's main conflict with her new position was the wellness of her father. How could she take care of him if she was off saving the universe all the time? To reassure her that her father would always be fed, Diana offered the food-producing satchel on the promise that she never tell anyone the nature of the thing, and never speak of where she got it. Unfettered by her duties as a daughter, Sidda no longer has to worry about the expenses of food and can take on her celestial duties more aptly.

Abilities:
Like diamond, her bones are very hard to break.
Sailor Diamond is thus able to take much heavier blows in combat.

Powers:

User ImageThousand Facet Fury
Sailor Diamond takes her daggers and flips them in her hands one after the other with a juggler's finesse. As each one takes a single tumble through the air, a dazzling light envelops the daggers. She then takes a combative stance and slices each dagger through the air in front of her. The blades leave trails of light in the air in an "X" formation. With another simultaneous flip of each dagger, and a cry of "Thousand Facet Fury!", Sailor Diamond falls on one knee and drives her daggers into the ground, leaving two more vertical trails of light that complete the "X" and form her Dagaz symbol (User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Laniakea's Light
Named after the galaxy supercluster in which the Milky Way resides. Much like her first attack, Sailor Diamond flips her daggers in each hand. As they light up, instead of slicing them through the air this time she merely holds her daggers in an "X" formation. The moment the blades touch each other, they are combined to form a large ball of light that Sailor Diamond holds between her palms. As she shouts "Laniakea's Light!", the ball begins to grow and pulsate violently. With an outward thrust of her arms, the unstable ball of light is hurled toward her foes. (This attack is my shameless tribute to Uranus' World Shaking.)

Diamond Chakram Purge
Sailor Diamond flourishes her hand in the air above her head, and glimmering stars of light trail from her fingertips. They hover in the air in the same ring formation she traced, glittering prettily, until they suddenly and violently gravitate toward each other and form a sharp halo. Sailor Diamond lowers her hand and the halo of light floats down with it, hovering just above her fingertips. With a cry of "Diamond Chakram Purge!", she hurls the disc toward her enemies. This attack can also be used quite practically- the disc will bounce from surface to surface approximately ten times, giving the potential to hit many enemies until it loses its strength. Once it reaches its damage threshold, however, it shatters back into bits of light that glimmer and fade away.

Sailor History:
Siddalee Smith is the humble daughter of an American english teacher an a smitten Japanese bachelor.
Sidda's sailor history may very well have begun long before she was born- but, as her mother died when she was quite little, the opportunity to ask the one person who might know such a thing has since come and gone. Sidda's memories of her mother are faint and fleeting, but her father fondly remembers her as a "vision of light". She was gentle, liked to paint and read. Kind to children and animals. These things Sid knows- the rest, she can only dream of. The one piece of herself that her mother left behind was a diamond brooch- an heirloom that, one day, Sid hoped she would pass on to her own daughters. One day. Perhaps.
Raised by her hapless bachelor of a dad, Sid grew up to be quite the tomboy. Sports of all kinds thrilled and amused her- especially the American sport, basketball. Japanese schools did not offer much outside the realms of baseball and rugby, so Sid was inevitably forced to settle for these in school. As such, she developed exquisite physical prowess as well as impeccable teamwork skills.
As she graduated, however, it was back to shooting hoops alone in the park. Her devoted father continued to raise her happily- but loneliness comes with age. He might not have shown it, but Sid could tell as time went on that work was getting harder for the old man. Keeping that leaky roof over their heads was a full-time job with no help. So, after years of being taken care of, Sid has taken it upon herself to care for her father. She presently works as a waitress at a cafe near the school, devoting most of her time and money to paying the rent and keeping food on the table. His smiles, she says, are more than worth it.
Hard-working and tenacious, Sid blazes her own trail through life. She also, however, retains a quiet, secret side of herself that rather likes playing basketball alone- a gentle side of herself, quite reminiscent of her mother.
One day, Sid was entertaining one of those gentle moods in the park. With the sun beginning to set and the cicadas taking up their summer song, Sid leaned herself happily against a tree. She had been at the park for quite a while and, tired and sweat-drenched from playing basketball with her shadow, was glad to take her seat in the shade. She paused, took in the air around her, then went reaching in her pocket for her pack of cigarettes.
It was then that the little grey kitten caught her eye.
With some coaxing, Sid convinced the kitten to approach her. Once she was able to pet it, the darling thing began to purr and leaped right into her lap. There seemed to be something- a bald spot? - in the shape of a crescent moon on the kitten's brow. Sid vaguely remembers her questioning this but, all puzzlement aside, the two of them enjoyed the shade and their company for quite some time.
After a while of sitting and fond kitten-nuzzles, Sid decided it was time for her to go. She was almost sad, and apologized to the kitten as she removed it from her lap. "It's almost dark," she said. "I ought to get going."
But the kitten followed her.
No matter, Sid shrugged. It was a cat, and could come and go where it pleased. She was almost a little flattered that the cute little thing decided to come with her on her walk home. It must really have liked her. Sid liked to be liked.
On the way, still quite parched from her activities, Sid decided to stop for a soda. She deposited her coins into the vending machine near her apartments. She pressed the button, and bent to reach for her can-
-but instead, she found a wand. A glossy dark brown, with metallic accents and a stunning diamond encased in silver flourish at the top.
The girl and the kitten exchanged looks.
The kitten seemed pleased.

Sid would soon be awakened and fully realized as the Sailor Senshi of Light. The wand worked in tandem with the diamond brooch her mother had left her, and through them she seemed to be able to harness the powers of the cosmos. But for what purpose? Even after being introduced by the kitten, Diana, to her fellow scouts, she was unsure. She had never been anything but completely ordinary, and this was quite extraordinary indeed. It made her feel out-of-place; so did the strange and regal beauty of Peridot and Ruby, her new mentors.
The one scout she seems to have been able to bond with is Garnet. The two of them seem to share the same uncertainty for their situation and social awkwardness with the other girls.
