 Alisha Slaughter
Alisha had the taxi stop in the circle drive of the brick two story house. The porch wrapped around tree sides of the house it seemed from just the front, a gazebo in the back but seemed the most awesome was the large trimmed yard. There were a few shrubs and one big flowering tree that would shower petals in the spring time but it was over all a big open space of green grass. Maybe it was the wind blowing toward the house, or the car noises that set them off but Price would soon find out why the yard was kept simple.
The trip itself had been the same quiet, awkward but companionable as each tried to find something to say and failing most miserably. Now, she smiled at him freely and removed his leash and muzzle mask, "It'll be easier for you to fit in if you don't have these. Might want to brace yourself, here they come!" She pointed passed him, all lite up with joy and amusement. When he turned to see what had caused the change, he would find the rapidly approaching stampede of 8 full blooded German Shepard puppies! Tongues flying in the wind, all fluff and paws, tail waging so hard one fell over and tripped the three behind him. Alisha had to laugh as they corrected themselves, the little ones were so cute!

Price had never really had the chance to interact with dogs, sure he knew they existed and knew he was part dog, but where he came from no one actually owned one. He was kind of surprised by their appearance and speech as he was not able to understand the barks and yelps except a few that he knew meant hello and yay. He smiled as he crouched down and his tail which he adjusted to stick out of his pants was wagging because he thought this was a great home and he was all too lucky to have such an owner. She with this many dogs probably knew how to keep him well and in shape as well as other things he would need. He got tackled by the puppies in a big rush which he was expecting, but didn't expect the force that came with them. He laughed and held a couple as he looked up to his master. " My Lady, this is a wonderful home and addorable puppies, thank you for taking me with you. How may I be of service to you?" He asked as a few puppies licked him. The ride over was awkward and kind of uncomfortable with the muzzle on and was relived now that it was off. He felt more free now that he was off the leash and oddly enough didn't even think about trying to escape and return to his old life. He felt as though this was meant to be and maybe this would be a better life than he had before so he decided to go along with it and see where it would take him. As he looked at his master he thought she looked cute in her cloths and wouldn't say so, but thought maybe she had wore it especially for today. " My Lady will you play with us?" He asked knowing his few questions might bother her, but wanted to get them out of the way.

 Alisha Slaughter
This was so much better than that shop! She should have just kept her mouth shut until she got him home or asked for him to be delivered and they could have avoided all of that discomfort. "Of course but you stay here with them. I'll be right back." She left him to be trampled and beat up by the young rascels to unlock the house. She traded her purse for a basket of toys from the playroom; setting the purse down on the otherside of the baby gate on the stairs so the dogs wouldn't get it. The whole of the ground floor was modeled specific to accomadate the dogs she fostered but the upper floor was all hers and the puppies weren't allowed up there. For a moment it occured to her that she might want to add Price to that rule but what if he needed a break from the rowdy bunch too? Oh well she'd cross that bridge when she got to it, for now she had a big basket full of balls, ropes, frizbees and squeeky things to toss about! From the porch, she licked her lips and put her thumb and forefinger between her teeth to build a loud attention grabbing whistle! All play stopped and each little shaggy head turned to her as she reared back and emptied the contents of the basket in one toss making rain goodies onto the lawn! Like the tide the pups abandoned Price to be the first to pick out the best toys. It would do them no good, Alisha had confiscated the top favorite among them hiding it behind her back as she returned to the grass without her shoes. "Price, do you fetch?" She didn't wait for his answer, just showed him what she was hiding and watched him for a reaction. It was a bright red and yellow ball, soft looking and when she squeezed it gave the most delightful squeek noise that alerted the puppies. They knew that ball and gathered around, jumping up and down, barking at her to get on with it. If he didn't know he would learn today. She reared back as a professional baseball pitcher would and let the ball fly far and fast, each little body running low to the ground to be the first to collect it and bring it back so they could do it all over again.

Price nodded as she had left for a minute only to come back with something in her hands. Upon seeing the ball he knew immediately what was going to happen and as if on sync, the moment it left her hands he started to sprint in its direction. The ball landed and bounced twice before he dove and tackle grabbed it with glee, both ears sticking up. He then trotted back, dodging the little pups trying to get at it now. Upon coming back up to five feet within Alisha he slowed down and slow stepped up to her sticking his hand out with the ball in hand and his head down and forward a bit as though asking for a reward. He was blushing, but it was because even if he knew it was not normal, this was just how his body was normally reacting. Not knowing what she would do as far as a reward he just contemplated to himself, thinking he was an idiot to think he would even get one as it was only the first day and they were only playing. Such a normal thing wouldn't get someone a reward in the first place so what made him different. If she did give him one, it would probably just be some words like "Good boy." or Pretty good." He felt foolish to expect anymore and tried to hide his blush as his tail slowly wagged behind him

 Alisha Slaughter
The puppies didn't care that he got the ball first so long as they got to run and chase it, that was the pay off for them. Alisha smiled warmly at him, glad to reward him with a scratch at the ears again...but a sudden wave inspiration hit her. It was just the two of them, the puppies weren't judgmental, and her nearest neighbor was a half a mile down the road-why not ask for a little more? He was a pet right, a person sold to another person, he was expecting some outrageous demands and might feel put out and unwanted if she didn't push him just a little. She took the ball back, rolled it in her hands avoiding eye contact, "Um...would it be too much if...please could you...run on all fours and carry the ball with your teeth instead?"
Hoping he would agree, she threw the ball again so he wouldn't have to answer her verbally. It would be his choice to fill her request and he would answer with action not words...words could lie and betray. It was silence of dogs that she liked and she wanted to believe that Price was honest and straightforward.

Price leaned in to her scratching a bit as it honestly felt good and he was happy she was happy. Hearing her request he was about to reply, but the ball was immediately thrown. He had no choice but to follow orders and turn around going on to all fours. Thankfully his race was able to run like a dog and started to sprint with his tail out behind him as he went after the ball soon grabbing it with his mouth; the taste a bit nasty, but he would bare with it. Upon returning he got on to both knees and lifted his hands in the shape of paws as to mimic a dogs beg. He sat like this and readied to drop the ball from his mouth as he looked up at her. He was up to her waist, but still they were decently close in height, him only beating her by a good few inches. After taking the ball from his mouth he smiled and embarrassed to do so barked. It sounded like any human imitation to copy a bark and sounded kind of pitiful to that of an actual dog, but he thought it fit the mood. " My Lady has a good arm." He says ready for the next throw or order. " Would you like me to continue acting like an animal My Lady, or just so long as we are playing?" He asked not sure how long she wanted him to keep up the act. Sure he was technically an animal, but he liked to think of himself as civilized. He would play along with her for however long she wanted though if that was her wish.

 Alisha Slaughter
SO CUTE, Alisha grinned when he got into beg formation without direction. He seemed to really understand what she was going for here! Plus, he barked when she took the back the ball! She'd been throwing balls for dogs since she was able to pick one up-she could probably out throw a professional baseball pitcher! That question though...she should have known it was coming. He was as much a boy as a dog, it was natural he'd want to act like a person but... Alisha got down on her knees to, obviously sad about something, but held up a hand to stop him from asking what he might have done or said to spoil the mood. It was about time something was said and it was better if she could do it now. "Which do you think is better; people or animals?" She gave him plenty of time to think and answer but she had already guessed what he'd say. "I don't get along very well with people. For some reason no matter what I do people just don't want to be my friends. With animals it's all about kindness and unconditional love-something I don't think people even know about these days." She paused to get her thoughts together and scratch the cheeks on the puppy that had forced his way into her lap. She started to cheer up but when she looked back at him she couldn't be more serious, "While I'm at school and doing homework, these little guys are going to need a person to look after them. You can be a person for them, but when you deal with me directly I want you to be an animal, okay?"

Price listened to his master closely and felt bad that others did not like her as she seemed sweet and nice regardless of her shyness and didn't like that she could not find friends. As she spoke to him even she was able to attract the other puppies towards her and pet them and give them kindness, even to him he could tell how warm she was. Maybe it was a dog thing, but he was beginning to trust and like her inately as a master. Though he could tell when she became more serious as she gave him a stern look and spoke what she felt. He wasn't all to happy to be a pet every time he would see her as this meant no intelligent communication, but he would oblige to her request all the same even if he did not truly feel like doing so. He was trying to keep an open mind about it and think about it in a different way. After a moment of thinking he finally showed the expression of acceptance and he smiled waging his tail. He barked and raised his hand in a pawing motion before tackling her and nuzzling his head on her. He was blushing and extremely embarrased at this point, but he knew dogs did this sorta of thing and especially the bigger ones. He wasn't really sure what to do past this point except licking or barking so he did the later. His right ear had bent to the left on its own as though as it was protecting itself from the tackle and the other still standing up. " Okay Master, I will do what you ask!~ I want a treat though." He says looking down at her.
