Even though it was difficult and scary for her, she worked as hard as she could and eventually proved to be a strong candidate despite her disabilities. She worked under Ayumi and Jisaku in Squad Four (the only squad where she felt at ease), but when Ayumi took on the position of Squad Twelve's Captain, Tatsumaki was promoted.
