Remy was given as a birthday gift to a little girl. The only problem with that set-up was that the parents of the girl had their own cat, who was older and rather territorial. The older cat was cordial to Remy, but didn't allow the tiny manx to touch his things. One day Remy made the mistake of drinking from the older cat's bowl. After the cat had had enough and physically showed him what was what, Remy ran away with a wounded face and ego. He never looked back.
Since then, Remy has learned to fend for himself. He's quite adept at foraging for berries and dumpster diving, but is pretty awful at everything else. Being tiny and declawed tends to not be helpful out in the wild. At one point, both things worked against him as he managed to get stuck up in a tree while looking for fruit.

JiYong was raised by an artistically-inclined gay Korean couple in Tokyo, Japan. Pampered and spoiled as all hell, JiYong also befriended and mated with the neighbor cat, Tempo. When Tempo disappeared and JiYong heard the family had booted him, the blonde willingly left his family in search of his mate...but not until after peeing all over the neighbor's flowers and garden.
After almost a year of searching, JiYong finally met up with his long-lost mate in a club in Ikebukuro. After finding one another, he and Tempo had a litter of six with the help of their surrogate, Leila. Shortly after the litter was born, however, disaster struck; the kittens were taken by humans and held captive as test subjects in the ever-mysterious Facility. After JiYong and Tempo saved the kittens with the help of several other cats from a few neighboring territories, JiYong was then attacked and abducted by a few local kids.
JiYong spent a month housed in a milk crate and used as a sick torture victim for the kids. Burned, shaved, stabbed, starved and dehydrated, JiYong managed to escape when he bit one of the kid's hands and squeezed under the fence.
Shortly after, JiYong and Tempo had another litter surrogated by JiYong's best friend ChaeRin. However, disaster struck yet again as ChaeRin was capture and taken to the Facility, passing away inside due to the tests done on her. The litter survived, however, and Tempo and JiYong managed to get them out - but at the cost of Tempo being caught.
After that, he raised the second litter with the help of his older kittens and the neighboring territory University. When the Facility was destroyed and Tempo was released, JiYong was granted some mental stability - but is still incredibly mentally unstable and paranoid.

Tempo doesn't talk a lot about his past. He likes to think of it as a bad dream of sorts, the cliche thing to say when he's asked about it.

The forest cat lived in an area not too far off from this town, with a wealthy Korean family. His owner was the child of the family who was musically talented and loved to listen to a variety of things. This is where Tempo picked up on dancing, singing, rapping, and writing.

The parents of his owner didn't like him past kitten years. Tempo was kicked, hit, insulted, yelled at, and often tossed outside. However, one day, the parents decided they really didn't want him to stay. So, they brought him to an area he wasn't familiar with, and tossed him away...chasing him out of their sight to make sure he couldn't return.

Upon being abandoned, he lost track of his mate, who lived with a family friend of his own family. Now, he finds it difficult to hate most humans...but sometimes he's sensitive about them, and doesn't like to deal with them, or talk about them.

Tempo ended up finding his mate after years of JiYong being gone--they made a family together with Leila, and have six kids, along with a territory. But just months after the kids were born, things went wrong.

JiYong went missing after humans attacked him and their son SeungMoon--so now Tempo is alone again, missing his mate and having to raise a family without him, as well as live with being the only leader in his territory once more.

After JiYong was found they decided to have another litter--which, ironically, the mother was taken by the facility when she was pregnant. After they went to rescue their kittens Tempo was taken by the facility for a few months...only to escape with a cat named BC.

They escaped together and devised a plan to rescue the cats that they saw and went through the torture with. However, during their rescue of the cats, he realized he doesn't remember anything before the time of creating The Ruins. All of his previous memories have been lost.

SeungRi grew up in a very loving family. There were many other animals in the household, so he became used to almost any kind of species he could run into.

Though, being around so many animals, he picked up their habits. Despite being an indoor cat, he often tried to get outside to play with the dogs and be able to explore. One day, when he did manage to sneak out with his canine family members, he traveled a bit too far away from home...and got lost in the process.

While he was lost, he ran into another cat. She had already been free from her collar, so she removed his own and taught him the ways of living out of a family home.

He joined her in her travels to where ever she was off to...and ended up smack dab in the middle of Ikebukuro, where they found Tempo and settled down in the ruins. They had twins when they decided to be mates...but the happy family was short lived when everything went wrong in the ruins.

SeungRi decided to wait until everyone was calmed down and safe before breaking it off with Mei. He still adores her, and wants her safe, along with their children, but he decided he needed to travel and find things out for himself...without her, for once. So he left his family behind and is currently traveling Japan in search of something to complete him.

SeungMoon got away with little problems when it comes to the facility that they were stuck in. Though his siblings came out battered and bruised, Moon seems to be the most in-tact physically and mentally.

However, he does have his down points when it comes to things. He is not a very intelligent thinker when it comes to certain situations, and has a tendency to freeze up when scared. He also relies heavily on his parents for just about anything, and tends to want attention 24/7.

Moon loves his family, as well as other residents of the territory, leaking into the University. He likes other cats and would prefer company over being alone.

Naoyuki

Naoyuki doesn't talk about his past much. He has spent his life as a stray, traveling from one area to another looking for a home--whether it be with humans or not--but has yet to find one.

He loves humans, but has grown far too feral to live with a family now...though he is not aggressive, he likes to do what he wants, when he wants. It would be difficult to adapt to humans at this point.

However, he is still in search of a home...

To which he somewhat found upon opening the territory Ecclesia. It is a rundown church that he runs as a sanctuary for cats who have lost their homes or have been tortured by humans in the past.

He aims to heal others, and send them back out into life so that they can be strong and live on their own.
