As days turn to nights, the Mare is always active. The inhabitants wide awake and never in need of sleep. Peace was present and the calm was always there. For those who find their way to the shrine, it was a safe haven...or their next decent into madness. Whichever came first depending on their actions.

☢ Nahumar ☢"Tell me what your greatest fear is, please?" ✥-━┈┈━-✥ 〖Two identical looking cats with purple fur dashed through the forest trees, weaving in and out as if racing the other. The rabbits of the forest watched them zip by in a hurry. To where? The Mare. A location hidden deep in the forest of magic. The Mare is where Nahumar, the Youkai of Fear resides. A being by name that sends shivers down the spines of humans...
The twin cats raced up the stairs, passing one another in a helix pattern. As they reached the top of the stairs, the two cats hopped in the air to change into their more human like appearance. The two were like twins with some variations. Incubo was a male, wearing a traditional outfit from the village boys he saw, yet colored in white and a deep purple color pallet, his eyes were a yellow-green color. Sogno was dressed with a long skirt variant and the exact colors of Incubo, yet with her longer hair, she had a few light purple bows and a rabbit ornament on the right side of her hair, her eyes being a dark yellow. The two called out in unison, "Nahumar-Sama! We're back!"
Emerging from their shadows, a tall male formed behind them. With his arms, he wrapped the two in a tight hug as the twins shrieked in surprise and then giggled. "Incubo, Sogno. How did your little trip go?" he asked in such a fatherly manner. This was Nahumar. The rumors do not hold up well when presented. He was very kind and caring to his kin. Yet despite being one who manipulates fear, one would assume he could care less about anything.
The twins were released as they looked to Nahumar with wide expressions. "It was great, Nahumar-Sama! We saw so many new and interesting sights. The humans in the village were gathering." Incubo started. Sogno nodded, "And we saw that puppet witch there as well!" the two obviously thrilled to always head out into the world and experience what was beyond the forest. Nahumar ruffled their hairs. "I see. Sounds to me like it was an exciting encounter. The real question is, did Sogno behave?" he raised a brow to the two as Incubo and Sogno both looked guilty. "S-sorry Nahumar-Sama. I couldn't pass up the chance to scare that brat picking on an innocent one." Sogno admitted to Nahumar. He sighed "At least you didn't want to cause harm...but please don't use your powers like that. You may never know when you might kill a human instead of scare them off...they cannot tolerate emotions on high levels often." Nahumar walked over to the steps to sit on them, looking at the view just above the trees. The shrine made it a great place to watch the tree tops and the sky from the forest. A peaceful day for The Mare and one location that barely anyone ever saw.〗✥-━┈┈━-✥ "Do you have a Cocoa Bean I may indulge on?"
