It's Winter time and you know what that means right? That means spending your time having fun with snow related activities (snow ball fight! Forts! Ice skating!), keeping warm in front of a cozy fireplace....having...fun (wink wink nudge nudge). Of course this second set of fun can come with some wholly unanticipated (or perhaps very much hoped for) results!
That's right, it's breeding time!
So you wanna build a snowman have a baby? Make sure you follow the rules

Breeding Rules:
1. Must be Teen or Adult to breed
2. The same rules as breeding Pokemon in the games don't apply, once they take on their human forms they are able to breed with whoever they like.
3. Breeding Legendaries? They can have babies only with non Legendary mates but they will always get their main look from their non Legendary parent with some features from their Legendary parent. Power wise they will be similar to a Pseudo Legendary like Dragonite for example.
4. FemalexFemale and MalexMale parents can have children together, it will be done in a more magical manner though. When they want a parent they will offer up a wish to Jirachi and then when they wake up they will have an egg!
5. Male x Female couples are a bit different, of course. The Mommy can carry the baby and it will be born as a baby, not born as an egg.
6. No random baby making, story must link the two parents as knowing about each other through RPs between the characters. Please remember the PG13 rating of the site though, we don't need details of the baby making process just the relationships leading up to it, thanks.
Q: What if I plan on my character to remain single/not really interact with others to the point they'd be making babies..... but I want my character to have a child anyhow?
A: Simple. You have them make a wish. They still have to meet the age requirements and all, and be in a place of 'I really want a kid' not just a random 'I wish I had a kid lawl!' to get this wish granted. So tada, single parents. wink
The event rules (on top of the breeding rules) are as follow:
1. Open only to those not on the inactive list. You are not eligible to come off the inactive list for this event, sorry guys. This is a reward for those who have been around putting in time with their characters.
2. Generally breedings aren't happening for new relationships (no one night stands folks). HOWEVER if it's generally known that a set of characters are going to be together (ex: Bastet/Lorne. They're not to that point yet in things, but it's plotted out to a point and all. So if they had a wild night of passion...and she wound up pregnant that would be okay because it would add a new element to their rp's), then we'll consider it.
3. Only one person needs to post up for a chance to make a baby, per couple. There is no limit to the amount of characters you can post up so long as they meet requirements. We do ask that if you post, the other player quotes the post and approves the post so we know all parties are on board.
4. If each teen/adult has a different artist it will be up to the artists to decide who draws the offspring. No requesting twins/triplets/etc. However you can make a note of 'Multiples okay' or 'No multiples please'. Multiples may or may not result in different artists as well. Again that is up to the artists.
5. Anyone wanting to post for kids from characters jayoku art's should be aware she is on hiatus. Please do not post up for kids from her at this time unless she lets us know otherwise.

This runs from 12/14 until 1/5 at 5pm PST Artists will make a decision on which pairings are going to get blessed, and the results will be posted up ASAP. That's right folks, this is all artists choice this round, unless of course you have a breeding ticket. Which ensures that if you post for babies (and you meet the requirements), you get babies.
The reason for the length of time is so folks can work on rp's, and all too be able to post for a chance to get babies. That's not to say you should rush things with plots but this way you have some wiggle room on the length of time to get things done.
