The Mare is hidden behind an illusion barrier that normal humans cannot easily see through. The area itself is clear of all trees in a perfect circle. Sitting in the center is a tall stone staircase, covered in moss that leads to a large bell at the top. It's said this bell only rings to humans whom have braved through the forest and conquered their deepest fear by arriving at the Mare. Once they lay their hands on the bell, a soft and soothing gong echoes to signify the purging of their fear by their own will. Historically, only two humans have been able to ring this bell. A Witch and a Priestess.

(On rare occasions, he has been shown to be an average threat when provoked enough)

Nahumar commands many beetle like 'Parasites' that shroud themselves in the visage of a purple fur rabbit. Their only means of defense is producing the fearful images to ward humans from traversing too deep in the forest. The more in one area, the stronger the visions become. Two parasites have grown to become a twin pair of purple haired cats. A female named Sogno and a male named Incubo. Near identical in cat form with their eye color separating them and both having humans forms as well, though rarely used. Sogno can manipulate the visage of objects with her portion of fear while Incubo induces images at a greater potency than parasites.

Incubo is rational and tries to prevent his sister from getting into trouble. While Sogno is the trouble maker and one who wants to scare humans for sheer joy of it all.

Fun facts:
*Nahumar has two siblings. One named Hanalli, the 'Youkai' of Joy and Sorina, the 'Youkai' of Sorrow. It's sometimes rare to see all three in one location but Sorina and Nahumar usually have a sibling bond that is strong.

* Nahumar enjoys chocolate as food. He can't taste anything else so he needs a little in his food to taste it. It is said to him, chocolate is like tasting a human's nightmares (Old tale of don't eat chocolate before you go to bed or you get nightmares)

* The original idea of Nahumar was to let him enter dreams but it was scrapped after remembering how stupid it would be.

*Nahumar's true image is a small orb shaped body. The human form he has is much like a shell he commands with his tendons.

* Place of origin may be from Egypt, though not enough proof exists to clarify it.

*His human body is hollow when he is not inside it. Like an odd puppet...
