Personality: Seeming cold at first Re’oak takes a bit of time to warm up to others. Once she does she is happy enough to joke and laugh. The warmer others are to her the quicker she bonds to them, though those who come onto her to warm tend to annoy her quickly. Large groups of strangers make her nervous and she tends to speak little in larger groups. She can vary from apathetic smart as to motherly and sweet depending on how well she knows the person she is speaking with. She has a fondness for children and will let them get away with all kinds of pranks even when she knows who did it. Adults she tends to be a bit sterner with. She can get hyper and when she does she can’t stop playing with things even if it is just her finger’s drumming on a surface. She has a strong sense of duty and when given a task does her best to compete it and failure is nearly painful to her. When she gets to upset she tries to hide it and will wait to curl up and cry later.

5'2" of average build but a bit heavier in the hips and chest. Hair is a mix of brown that is lighter in the summer and darker in the winter. Brown eyesHistory: When she was younger the thought of ever actually riding a dragon not only never occurred to her but it was never a fantasy she mused with. To her taking care of her caprine was enough. The kids were cute and the bucks smelled horrible but she knew them all and was good at taking care of them. Her family had a good sized herd and would often send caprine to the dragon riders so they had food available for the candidates’ young dragonets. It was on one such trip that Re’oak first came to see the magnificent dragons up close. She was spell bound and in no time wanted to live here more than anywhere else in the world. She was noticed then and told she had a gift and could if she worked hard become a dragon rider. Her parents weren’t overly pleased with this but after a long talk with other dragon riders they realized they had very little choice in the matter when it came to thread and the need for more protection for their caprine. Thus Re’oak fund herself living at the wyr and her life began as a candidate. She was surprised at the speeches she had heard and more over the rigors she was exposed to. She had thought that having grown up with many animals she would be more ready to be a dragon rider than she felt. It turned out she was a bit more ready than some but still had so much to learn! Then it happened, her time had come. She was going to stand before so many eggs and find out if a small dragonet chose her. The sands had felt so hot that day and she was so worried she would never be picked. There was nothing wrong with staying on as a wyrfolk but she had done so much so far and wanted to be picked so badly. She didn’t need the biggest or the best, leave that to someone far more capable than she. All she wanted was a dragon that would let her help and contribute to the wyr and the fighting of thread that endangered everyone she knew and loved. Even if she was not part of the fighting wings but used as a messenger to get ahead of the thread and assist there she was fine with that, just so long as she could help!
There must have been someone out in the universe who heard her plea because that day she looked into the most dazzling rainbow eyes for the first time and fell head over heels in love on the spot. Working hard she and her dragon grew together and began to learn what it was like to be an actual dragon rider of the wyr. Reo was surprised just how quickly Gene grew even if she had been told to expect it. Seeing it was so much different. Soon enough it was time to go for their first flight. It had gone quite well thought the landed had defiantly needed some work. Thankfully it was nothing to serious and a week out of commission had been the worst of it.
Talents: Good with animals, some base medical knowledge and plant lore. Good with memories and story lines but bad with names.
Notes: She can and will hold a grudge! There is no time limit for this. Also crappy penmanship.

Color: Green
Physical Description: A lithe dragon Gene’s flights are more speed than power. She is an agile flier and good at maneuvers but doesn’t have the power others have. Her legs get progressively darker as you go down her arm; the same fade to darker green is on the tail as well.
Personality: Gene can be kind and even almost motherly at times, but she’s not much for coddling. When her rider goes too far or says something she thinks is going to far she is not above giving a wing to the back of the head. She loves Re’oak dearly and wishes the best for her rider. The green is fairly easy going most of the time and loves to sun bath like she’s a growing plant. She doesn’t care to much for what the other dragons think unless it’s good things about her rider, still she will not disobey orders and take the time to make sure others will be safe if their dragons are not around. Re’oak often teases her saying she is the scaled den mother which usually is only said when out of reach of Gene’s wings or tail.
