Wiggle.
Wiggle, wiggle.
Wiggle, wiggle, crack, rustle.
Rustle, Crack, rustle, rustle. Starry frowned, looking up at her middle daughter. She'd been hanging there for Guardians only knew how long. Honestly, she couldn't even remember how the girl had gotten up there and managed to hide from the entire family for so long. That girl was going to have to come down eventually, and boy was she going to get a talking to when she did.
It was in the middle of that line of thought that the starred demon heard the noises. It sounded like something was moving around under something dry and thin. Was Siofra finally coming out of that pod thing up there?
"Siofra?" She called, hesitant. The first thing to emerge was a pair of hands. A little longer and more elegant than what had helped to craft her vessel for a nice little nap, followed by arms and a head. She was certainly a lot bigger than she had been at first. Jade eyes were still closed, and her matching hair was just a little damp from everything that her body had gone through. Which meant that those weird nubs on her back were wet too. Wait a second... Nubs on her back.. Siofra tried to turn around, looking behind her. Something was waaaay off.
"Mom?!" She panicked a little, literally falling out of her cocoon in her attempt to see whatever was on her back.

Starry flailed a bit, scrambling to attempt to catch Siofra. Of course, having been on the other side of the room when the girl fell, she failed miserably at it. Wincing at the crashing sound, the demon finally got to the freshly freed girl. "Are you hurt Sweetie?" She asked, bending down to pick up the strange winged girl.
Siofra groaned, hitting the floor smack on her bum. It really hurt. Wait a second, that wasn't normal. She blinked, looking down. Just two wiggly things where her six suction cupped feet used to be. And a thing behind her that kinda cushioned her fall. Kinda. The teen frowned, trying not to panic. She was missing body parts she was used to having. And then her mom was picking her up. Oh Guardians no! "Please no Momma! Please don't, I'm sticky and ew and ugh!" She groaned, squirming.
The worried mother shook her head, "You're still so small Siofra, are you sure you're alright?" She asked, worried about the girl. Who wouldn't be worried about their kid if they'd just fallen from the ceiling. But that was when she truly noticed Siofra had changed. More than just changed, she wasn't a caterpillar anymore. The girl on the floor before her had wings and feet. Or what she figured were feet, no toes and they were clunky looking things. Hooves maybe? Siofra had changed a great deal while hiding up in that cocoon.
She shook her head, hesitant to get up on the new clunky things she had instead of suction cups. Ugh, that was gonna take some getting used to. "I'm okay... It's all just so weird... I'm bigger than before right?" She looked up to her mom, hoping she'd grown a little. She was so much smaller than her sisters and brothers, it was something she was always worried about. She hesitated a bit, stretching as much of her body as she could. The weird clunky things responded right away, and a weird fluttery feeling came from her back. The rest of her felt normal though...
"Okay... I'm gonna try this." She grinned, getting into the spirit of change. She wanted out and to stretch... And then something to eat. Maybe she should do that first. Get up and grab something to eat. It felt like she'd been starving for months! "Momma can I have something to eat?" The teen looked up to Starry, jade eyes wide with youthful innocence.

Starry grinned. "That's my girl. What do you want to eat Siofra?" She asked, already moving to the kitchen. She was happiest in the kitchen after all. "The meat your brother brought back hasn't all been preserved yet, we still have a good hunk of it pretty fresh." The demon was barely inside the kitchen and she was already mixing up a bunch of things, getting at least something for Siofra to munch on done in just a few minutes.
Siofra paused a moment, listening to her stomach. She must have been up there for a while, it felt like she hadn't eaten in like three seasons. "Mmmm, I want something yummy!" She grinned right back, mirroring the expression almost perfectly. And back to the weird things. Jade eyes blinked, looking down at the clunky things where there had once been a bunch of sticky wiggly things.
"I wonder what these are..." She mumbled, lifting a leg into the air. She was still pretty flexible, but not nearly as much as before. And her leg bent different than Momma's did. "OKay, so... I wonder how these work..." Siofra put her leg back down followed by rolling onto her front to start walking forward. No, that hurt. That had to be wrong. The teen frowned. "This isn't right... Why isn't this right?" She asked herself, pushing up with her arms. And that was it, her legs did something on their own. And she was standing.
"Whoa... It's so high up here!" She wobbled, throwing her arms out to the sides to catch her balance. It wasn't enough, but her body still wouldn't let her fall. Those weird things off her back flittered, keeping her on her toes. "This is so weird..." The girl mumbled, trying not to panic as her body reacted where her mind wanted to do something else. Thank Guardians for that too!

Starry poked her head out of the kitchen for a moment, looking at the strange little faun she called a daughter. "Are you alright Sweetie?" There had been noise, she had to make sure someone wasn't broken. Guardians how terrible would that be, coming out of whatever she was in and instantly hurting herself trying to figure out what was going on.
Having spotted Siofra standing upright and a little off balance, the demon smiled, letting the girl have her moment. It had to be strange to have two legs and feet all of a sudden instead of six wiggly little legs. Before she returned to the kitchen, Starry set out a bowl of fresh fruits. Siofra had seemed to enjoy sweets like this before the cocoon thing, there didn't seem to be reason for that to have changed.
"I'm good Mom." She assured her, deciding not to try walking yet. It wasn't like it was a bad idea, just a little scary. And everything was so different from higher up! She couldn't stop looking around, at least until she heard the bowl of fruit hit the counter. That noise meant there was something to eat and all of a sudden her stomach was all she could think about.
Carefully, she took a step, wobbled a little and caught her balance again. "This isn't so hard..." Deep breath, another step. This one wasn't nearly as wobbly as the first, and it brought her closer to the counter. That was her main goal here. Another step forward, Good Guardians these legs were weird! It wasn't long before she'd managed to make it to the counter, only loosing her balance a couple more times in the process.
"Thanks Mom!" She called, stuffing her face.
