Does anyone have any Christmas Traditions they would like to share? Or a funny story that will make your stomach hurt because you were laughing so hard? Even a sweet love story? (Those are rare.. Well to me) And maybe even so a scary horror, or a sad heartbreaking experience?

I have 2 Christmas Traditions:
1. Buying, addressing, and sending out Christmas cards to all of my dear friends and family members. They call it "Seasons Greetings". Yes it's now considered "Snail Mail" but for me it's pure joy to open up a beautiful Christmas card from someone. I will then put them on the wall to look at throughout the season.
2. Driving around the neighborhood or city to check out Christmas Lights and decorations that people have put up. In Wayne County in South Eastern Michigan they do this in a big way. They have what is called The Wayne County Light Fest. One of the parks in the county that I live in you can drive for around 6 miles through the park and see all kinds of light displays that the county has put up. This is one of the largest displays of it's kind in the Midwest!! They have the light show going on from just before Thanksgiving to New Years. So if you are in the area it's worth your while to check it out. smile

Around the holidays the little people all come out to cause mischief. Every year we all pull "pranks" on each other, leaving small gifts that the leprechauns, elves and brownies left behind. I missed the tradition when I was at college, so I choose a day before winter break and decorated all of my friends doors, leaving chocolate and gifts and a note from "Bud Elf".
