Somewhere out there is a star with my name on it.

The girl adorned in weaves of the cosmos reclined where she sat, legs locked and extended with her arms laid in her lap. Idly she toyed with the stick that comprised the greater half of her weapon, while its globe hung uselessly beneath her knees. She looked upward toward the dimming sky, where the first stars began to show within lurid purple streaks and red dimpling. She craned her neck as she struggled to look beyond where her bangs now crowned her vision, and leaned backward until the back of the bench struck her. Recoiling slightly, she rubbed the back of her skull before her gaze drew to the evening sky once more.

I never put much thought into constellations before. I wonder if I could discover Stara Maslina by looking at a constellation chart? Would that be astronomy or astrology? Actually, Google would be a wonderful starting point. Sadly that won't give me any instructions on how to get there...

Avalon mentioned that star travel is possible. But how? I'm not really equipped to build a rocket ship, and since I never see those going off around the city, there's got to be some trick to it that I'm missing...
Finally Stara shifted her attentions to the child's rendering of a fishing pole in her hands, carefully examining the rough texture of the stick before she looked on toward the globe. Nothing about the weapon gave any indications toward star travel, and the best she could glean from it was that the globe represented some planet, or maybe the galaxy that supposedly encompassed the cosmos. Or was it a universe? She knew far too little of astronomical bodies and their graduations to make a clear decision.

"Stara Maslina," she mumbled to herself, barely above a whisper. The page leaned into her observations of the globe, eyes half-lidded while she watched the viscous swirl of wax within. "I wonder what it looks like. Is there a palace? Maybe a tower? Or a castle, with ramparts?" She hadn't the foggiest idea; without ever setting foot on a knight wonder, she hadn't even begun to dream of the possible realms that knighthood had to offer.

Strangely, a sense of relief assailed her from somewhere in the east, which first puzzled her as she never considered emotional senses to be anything close to directional. On the longshot assumption that the sense of relief she felt might lead her to a means to reach her wonder, Stara stood in haste and started down the winding sidewalk toward its origin.

The little point of light shone with a cheerful purple gleam and Ida turned to orient herself on it, her thumb working the buttons to get a better pin point. There...

There lights of the city hid the stars from view, but it was never far from Ida's mind. Her asteroid could not be seen from here, but she felt it, or liked to think she did. Powered up, it tugged at her somewhere deep inside, through the link from senshi to planet. She had visited it a few days ago, but soon enough it would be time to go again. It was a relief, really... a retreat and sanctuary. The quiet and the wind through the grass were calming and something she very much needed lately.

Stepping out at an easy gate, Ida let her compact fall to rest against her stomach and focused on where she was going. There was an idle wonder what sort of a person she would find this time, whomever the little light belonged to. Senshi? Knight? Man or Woman? Would they be friendly and open to her help, or stand offish? It was impossible to know, but sort of exciting to find out. It always was when she did this.

White boots tripped along the broad top of a cement wall, finding the height no bother even when the senshi dropped from it, landing lightly on the sidewalk. Her pace picked up and Ida jogged lightly, ever so often catching her compact and lifting the screen to reorient herself. It didn't take long, even as she detoured to avoid late roaming groups of people, before she caught sight of a young woman who looked utterly out of place. She would have been far more at home in a Christmas pageant, playing an angel, actually... but the outfit was a dead giveaway if her aura hadn't been.

"Hello!" Ida called as she lifted a hand to wave eagerly, putting on a pleasant and welcoming smile.

The brimming glow of ease stole her breath away as it closed in on her location. Only through great perseverance could she will her chest to heave, and even then, she couldn't concentrate on breathing and walking both. The heels she wore proved incredibly bothersome, since she so often wore flats, and the attention involved in trying not to step on her own gown likely led to her looking like she had two left feet - or no feet at all. Maybe flippers, or a fin... She thought to herself with a sigh. I don't understand it. How could anyone hope to fight anything in a dress like this? This isn't armor at all... I should be singing at parties, not saving the world.

And then a star lit upon the ground, right in front of her - beset in lilting purples and traced with an unearthly glow on her skin, someone peeled out of the alleyway. Stara stared blatantly for a moment, struggling to take in the henna-esque tattoo in combination with the unusual garb. She feels friendly somehow. Like she knows me, maybe... And gorgeous, but it's not the same beauty as I might spot in any one person on the street. Something about her is almost... Ethereal. Like an angel.

"Ah, hi." She started clumsily. "Hi! Yes, um..." Unable to hide the smile from her face, Stara raised bangled arms to play fingers across her lips. "I'm sorry. This is completely new to me, and..." With a sigh, she started fanning herself gently. "I don't know what's come over me. It's like I'm standing in a column of light..."

Stara swallowed hard to get a grip on herself. Locking fingers together, she anchored them to the tops of her thighs before she started a slow approach. A handful of times she needed to look toward her feet to ensure she wasn't about to rip her own dress off. "I'm Stara Maslina. Or so I'm told. May I ask your name?" As she asked, she leaned ever slightly to the side, as if she might not manage the quixotic inclination without angling her chest.

Her aura felt small, basic, and shone with the purity she expected from a knight... but as she approached, the face she saw pulled Ida up short with a stumbling step. Her own face was stark, wide-eyed... and suddenly they were not standing on the street, but rather, she was on a stage and this face was below her. She could hear her screaming for blood, cheering for death in her black clothes...

I'm Stara Maslina...

Ida sucked in a sharp breath as she took a step backwards, feeling the weight of chains pulling at her wrists and the incredible lethargy that came with being drained just short of unconsciousness. Someone approached, weapon unsheathed and she squeezed her eyes shut, unable to bring herself to watch... and there was pain, sharp and piercing, in her ribs.

Ida doubled over as she grabbed her knees, dragging in a deep breath of air as the sounds of the city returned and the sound of a woman cheering faded away. She wasn't on the stage... had not yet set foot to it, and her body was whole. She felt exhaustion drag at her though, that much had not changed. Brown arms wrapped around her waist as Ida straightened up, searching out the knight once more.

"I'm sorry... I just... Who are you?" She said, her voice thick. "I remember you..."
