HADES KITCHEN THE COMPETITION CONTINUES:
Previously on Hades Kitchen:
The contestants started with their first team battle, as the red versus blue teams compete to see who could score the most points. One team is going home, the team with the lowest score. There is a lot to impress tonight, from chefs to angry and demanding customers. But the chefs surprised them all at the end as neither team went home, but instead, individuals that had simply failed to deliver.
Chef Hyde, famed for his advanced research in Moldecular Gastronomy, Vile Potions mastery, and the best-selling cookbook, You are what you eat: and that's disgusting.
Chef Gorgon Ramsay, who put the F in fear of food, with over 12 Devilin stars spanning all of Halloween, having even gone to the Human World to scare the best of the best in the culinary industry, there is nothing this chef doesn't know about food.
The evening started off promising, as the contestants were asked to prepare three dishes. Guest diners were invited to the prestigious Hades Kitchen dining hall and could order one of the three items off the menu: the panty crap ripsotto, the tea deer skellington, and for dessert, the strawberry tart treat blood pudding.
Some chefs had their own ideas of what was right and wrong:
Contestant 1: "Too much violence against innocent minipets!"
And some just did not know how to please their customers.
Contestant 2: "You. What do you want."
If that wasn't bad enough, admidst the chaos, the guests VIP guests get angry.
The camera shifts to a horsewoman grabbing a spoon and scooping some blood pudding, going so far as to shove the spoon towards a contestant's mouth. "Look at this! You could get a human world fraternity drunk off of this by the smell alone! Conquest's horns, if I were to make you eat this you'd probably get drunk and I'd be hauled off to jail for getting a minor smashed!" She threw the spoon down, then shoved the dish back into his hands. "Take it back and work on the next dish."
Tensions are high and the stakes higher as some chefs go home in disappointments and others remain, fighting tooth and nail to rise to the top.
Do the remaining chefs have what it takes to take the grand title as KING OF HADES KITCHEN and the prize of 250, 000 silver pumpkin seeds? Find out in this round what these remaining contestants have in store in this episode of HADES KITCHEN

HADES KITCHEN ROUND 3
The lights dim as both the chefs enter the room. Everyone has been escorted into a large kitchen, a very very large kitchen, or rather, a series of sub-kitchens. Each contestant gets their own counter to work on, with a working sink, oven, stoves, every single haunted kitchen supply they would ever need, and of course, their own set of brand new Chilling Brand Best Grade Haunted Chef Knives. There is a box in front of all the chefs.
The light dims and focuses the center stage, with the two chefs standing.
"Wow," starts chef Gorgon Ramsay, "wow. Last night. What a disaster, yeah? I think we can easily say that both teams did terribly. We asked for chefs, not a circus out there. If it were up to me, there would be no winners at all."
There is a long moment of silence.
"So let's start over, and start a fresh new day today. Please promise not to mess up so badly today, at least. Now, in front of you, as you can see, is a box, the mystery box. You will be cooking with all the contents in the box, like you did yesterday. The difference today is that you'll get to choose what you want to cook."
"All right then," continued chef Hyde in his most professional TV voice,"we will be scoring your dish on taste and taste alone. Only the top five chefs with the highest scores will participate in the final round. Make this meal count. Everyone on the count of three."
He only said "three", but it was enough count for everyone as they raised their boxes to reveal -
- "That's right," Chef Gorgon Ramsay hollered, "you will be cooking today with invisible ingredients. You will need to cook and prepare from a variety of invisible minipets, invisible spices and garnishes, and plate and serve them on our standard plates. We did say that taste is everything today, and just because it is invisible doesn't mean it can't taste bad."
"For those of you more dim-witted, invisible means you can't see it, intangible means you can't feel it. Oh, you'll feel it all right." Chef Hyde sneered.
"Now, everyone has one hour to prepare their best invisible dish. Good luck."
The timer begins on exactly above the chef's head, signalling it was time to prepare for their lives and serve the greatest meal yet.

THE CHALLENGE:
Each chef must use only spices and the given minipet ingredients to make a fantastic dish! As everything is quite invisible, taste, and touch are key!
gaia_crown [ STEP 1 ] The contestant needs to identify what they want from the box. As everything is quite invisible (any of the possible minipets in the invisible minipet list other than SE pets), they will need to identify from touch and taste alone. All contestants can roll a max of 3 times. Each time they do, they identify something about what they are touching. They can then pick which one of the three they want to use, and try their best to figure out from touching what they are making.
1) You feel something with a long fluffy tail 2) You feel something with a lot of scales 3) You feel something with a tiny body 4) You feel something that seems to have an extra limb 5) You feel something that is covered in saliva 6) You feel something jangle as you touch it 7) You feel a slight jingle as you move the something.
gaia_crown [ STEP 2 ] Now it is time to cook the thing. This is where the scoring system comes in. You will now accumulate points depending on how well you did for this and the following steps. Don't forget to put it in your OOC quotes.
PREPARATION: - You will need to declaw/defang/skin/ gut out/ etcetc whatever it is you are holding. As it is invisible, so are all it's insides. Work carefully! - Roll 3d6 to see what your score is this round. The higher you roll, the better your performance (ie: 1 cool the lower you roll, the worse your performance. If you manage to roll less than a 5 your minipet runs away and you have to grab your second choice from what you "felt" in stage 1. - Put your score for step 2 in your OOc.
gaia_crown [ STEP 3 ] - Now you will need to cook the item. There is a small choice of invisible spices, but since they are all invisible, you have to taste each one. You are allowed to taste three of the spices. Roll 3d10 to see which 3 you get. If you roll repeats, yes you tasted the same thing twice. Now you will have to creatively improvise with the spice in your food. Each spice is worth a certain amount of points.
1) Something very sticky and sweet +1 2) Something sugary and cube-shaped +2 3) Something very, extremely spicy +0 4) Something moldy -2 5) Something salty, just salty +2 6) Something oily in texture +1 7) Something oily and thick, that melts to the touch +2 cool Something slightly spicy, just on the light side +2 9) Something blood-flavoured what is it ??? +1 10) Something minty fresh +1
Tally up your points and add that to your score you had from step 2. Ie if I had 18 from step 2, and I rolled 4, 4, 5, I now have 18-2-2+2 = 16 points total up to here. Make sure you rp out this post.
gaia_crown [ STEP 4 ] This is the final step and that is plating the item! Go ahead and do so, keeping in mind you are literally serving invisible things on a plate. Roll 1d6 to see how well you perform. This is also your score for this round.
1) CLANG. Something falls. Did you just drop everything? 2) You feel some things fall off, or something quite literally run off your plate. Is that normal? 3) You think you did an okay job, but you could have sworn your meal is still chirping 4) You think you did an okay job, and everything seems to be plated okay, but what is that smell? 5) You did pretty good! You can't really tell, but at least nothing is falling off. 6) You worked better than a sightless slime demon. You are the invisible chef extraordinaire. You feel the urge to pat yourself on the back.
Tally up your score you got from completing step 3 and then in BOLD RED in ooc post your FINAL SCORE. YOU ARE DONE!! CONGRATS. MAke sure in your final post you also explain what this dish is. The cameras are rolling, and they want to know. Good luck!

And now came the spices, which of course wouldn't have labels or any helpful indications of what they could be. She took a deep breath and went about her blind taste testing, yielding saltiness in immediate succession and a pleasant spiciness on the third. Huh, yes, a good combination, she could work with this!
The salty taste was liquid, soy sauce in Ruth's best guess, the second saltiness was just that. Salt. While the third taste with its light spiciness was probably white vinegar. She could make something one of the cooks back home made now and again!
The dragon was cubed (or as cubed as she could shape them) and the spices were combined into a bowl. She left the ingredients to soak for a time before pouring the contents into a pot of water. Turning the heat on the stove up, she let it come to a boil and promptly lowered the flame to a simmer. Eventually, the liquid was reduced and the meat absorbed the spices.
As a final touch, she stir fried the meat.
OOC NAME OF CONTESTANT: Ruth/"Blondie" STAGE: 3 INGREDIENT: Luck Dragon Invisible SCORE: 10 + 6
