"Hello Dylon, do you want a spar?" The petite girl in a cozy pullover beamed like winter sunlight, warm but not blinding. "If I win, you teach me one thing; if you win, you can ask me to do anything." Thinking it should be a good deal hard to say no, Shu made the request. Recently Z was on a rampage after knowing he couldn't have sex in his golem form, he demanded for a weapon golem but she was too busy to apply for one. Being an intermediate hunter was like someone suddenly threw a tower of paperwork onto your seat. Hardly had she had a day-off. So she decided to make a plushie that looked like his so-called natural form and made compliments to flatter him. It should work nicely since the beast was rather simple-minded. However there was a big big problem, she never sew before, sewn by hands. She did touch machine sewing superficially, but not hand sewing. So she needed a teacher. The handsome guy standing in front of her was a pretty ideal target, if she won, she got what she wanted. If she lost, she didn't think Dylon would ask her to do anything awful at all. The knight is gonna uphold his name, right?

Dylon chuckled, always up for a spar. The cute little girl called Shu had decided to lure him in with a wager; he found this hilariously adorable. "You're on, sunshine." He grinned, flexing his fingers in preparation for the big event. "Is it something specific you wanna be taught?" Of course Shu was right in assuming Dylon would not ask her for anything bad if he did win. In fact, he fully planned on teaching her something no matter what.

"Awesome!" She put on the fingerless gloves and summoned her weapon, an oriental hammer in pink. For whoever see the hammer for the first time, the usual response was whether it's a toy or weapon you can use to fight. "Hmm, I will tell you after I win." The confident tone was in her voice as she winked.

"Oho! My aren't we confident." Dylon grinned, summoning Vahn as dual katars. "That's a cute weapon you got there Shu. It's huge!"

"Thank you! It's my favourite color. This is Z, a beast called Nian. I don't know why he's so big, maybe because he's a big beast?" The petite girl tilted her head. "Katars. Vahn was a werewolf---" Dylon had not expected such a small girl to hit so hard. Despite the size of her weapon, he was caught off guard. The failure of a Moon hunter grunted suddenly, staggering backward as a large chunk of his shield had been taken. "Yikes!" He laughed, albeit a little nervously. He knew he'd been allowing himself to fall behind on his training and duties, but wow. This was a real eye opener. As a former athlete, he really should have known better. "I better watch my back with you, eh?" He smiled and went in to attack the hammer. However, maybe it was her height. Maybe she'd dodged him. Maybe it was his lack of training. But he didn't seem to hit her at all. HP: 29/40

Oh, so both are beast, maybe they could be friends - < No. No way.> "Are you okay?" She was a bit worried, ever since the promo mission, her weapon was changed. On one hand, she was happy that it was a sign that she got stronger. On the other hand, she was afraid to have hurt someone carelessly. "Maybe, I'm happy with that." She grinned. "You know, when I was a trainee, I didn't win any spar and often ended up hitting myself." Using this spar as a good chance to figure out how much forces she should be using, then next hit was of less energy. HP: 50/ 50 Dice: 2d10-6 DMG: 7

"I'm okay!" He laughed. "As a Moon, I should be learning defence more than attack, but.." But then Vahn would get super snippy. Couldn't have that. "A balance of both is best."
So, little Shu was intermediate. More and more, the young man realized he really was falling behind. He needed to step it up. No more taking it easy. He needed to get his passion back. His drive for improvement.
"Don't worry about hurting me, Shu. Training field is the safest place. I'll be just fine." He smiled and winked.
Yet again, he went in for a strike, and found he couldn't hit his target. He was ridiculously out matched.

She nodded, blocking down Dylon's attack easily. With much less force used, her hit was blocked. Hmm, so can't use a force smaller than this. < What are you doing, silly? Just hit, hit and hit. The harder the better!> Nope. "You can get better, Dylon. As soon as you have someone you want to protect, a reason to get stronger, you will improve unexpectedly fast. Someone told me that I'm the least threatening hunter on the island, it hurt a bit to be regarded as the weak. I hate the weak self that couldn't protect anyone, thus I seek for changes." The grasp on the weapon shaft was, for a moment, tighter. "I believe you can do it, Dylon, I hope this spar will help you a bit." It was a bit awkward to say so as last time they met, both of them were trainees and she was intermediate trainee now. It worried her that whether her tone sounded too much like a senior, but she didn't mean that. HP: 50/ 50 Dice: 2d10-6 DMG: Miss

Dylon's smile was fainter as she spoke. His complete lack of training was apparent even to Shu. Imagine how badly he'd do if he were on the field. He gave a laugh, ruffling the top of her head with his palm; being careful not to tangle her hair in the blades. "Thanks, kiddo. I think I'll manage." He stepped back, and took on a defensive position. "Let's go, Shu. Bring it on!" He grinned once again. HP: 22/40

Ah.....She's being treat as a kid again. The petite Death may or may not have her cheeks puffed or pouted, but she enjoyed the petting. "Alright~" She adjusted her force again, grabbing the hammer at a lower position so that the momentum would be bigger. The collision of weapons created sharp clatter, "You're really a moonmoon, Dylon." A return for calling her a kiddo. HP: 50/ 50 Dice: 2d10-6 DMG: 6 - 5 (defended) = 1

A small swell of pride came through him. He'd managed to deflect a large amount of damage from himself. Dylon laughed, "The best MoonMoon I can be!" In fact, this was working a lot better than his attempts at fighting. He'd have to take lessons from a Sun later. Vahn was grouchy, of course. His hunter promised an attack in-between another round or so of defensive manoeuvres. HP: 21/40

"Indeed~" She giggled at the pun. "Have you thought of what specialism you want to be when you rank up?" Have you go for any external missions?" "Woah, wow. Specials? I uh.." He laughed, trying to dodge her hits as best he could. He'd managed to block a decent amount of her hit, taking half the damage he could have gotten. "I can't say I've thought about it. I'm only a trainee."
He decided to take the offensive again, swiping at the girl with a few quick jabs. "Interesting?"
The first few jabs connected, and so he looked for an opening in her defences, and took another hard swipes at her shield.

Seeing the Moon hunter got on the rail was kinda happy, but seeing something sharp coming at her was another thing. Even though she knew it won't hurt, in reaction, she naturally twitched. Z was swearing already, calling Dylon "sly fox", "flirty jerk", etc. "Hmm huh, anything you find interesting and comfortable to talk with." She stepped forward, using the hammer to push against his blade and ended with a sweep across. HP: 40/ 50 Dice: 2d10-6 DMG: 5
