Asking things of him was not something Hristgard was fairly apt in. She was a strong Thrall, and there was no joke behind her wishes to someday climb up to Freeborn. She enjoyed the company of him, of Stein, and that was saying something coming from Hristgard. She was usually somewhat snarky, even to her siblings and mother. But to Stein she was straight minded and usually calm, collected and ready for any sort of answer. He was a bit thick though, which made Hristgard chuckle at the thought of their relationship. She had obviously been the one to have to bluntly suggest a friendship between the Freeborn and the Thrall. That had been the last time she asked of something from Stein, and every now and then they would see each other when he wasn't off doing...Whatever it was that he liked to do outside of their once in awhile chats.
When they were cubs he liked to let her win, or so she thought he was letting her win. She wasn't aware of her own strength sometimes. She paced a few times in the area they met up in like little star-crossed lovers.. Just without his acknowledgement in the fact she flirted with him. Or so she was hoping he didn't notice, as there had been times when he confused her with how thick he was. Though it in all honesty had been at least a month since they last saw one another. She felt a little odd pacing in the area where he crossed by to get to his sleeping quarters, she had come here on the expectations that he'd meet her there by some magical force. Maybe he was fighting and was really tired? Hrist had very little knowledge of what Stein was like to other Storm Borns. As for some reason she felt it degrading for him to find a friend in a Thrall like her and she would constantly fret about his status in the pride.
