The goddess peered out of the shadows with her cobalt eyes half lidded, passively fading in and out of ethereal translucence. Her mind wandered dreamily, but her body was completely still. The only movement was her hair in the slight breeze, though the shadows she reclined in were too dark for any mortal to see her through. Not that she feared any mortal, of course. She was a Goddess after all and more powerful than any mortal could dream of being. Still, she preferred not to be found until she was good and ready. Her domain was stealth, her loves were shadows and subtly.
Normally she enjoyed the silence and solitude of her domain, but today she felt restless, almost bored. She resolved to find herself a mortal to toy with. She closed her eyes fully and sent out black tendrils of shadow on the wind, feeling for the beating heart of a mortal.
