Name: Yoru Miura Gender: Female Age: Unknown, appears in her early twenties. Race: Shinigami Appearance:Human Appearance Affiliation: Unknown Position/Rank: Captain of the 13th Division Fears: Fears of being alone again in a never-ending void of darkness. Also fears that one day someone will break through her outer shell and touch what black hole of a heart she has left. Personality: Yoru is apathetic, cold-hearted, and has a dangerous temperament. She is paranoid and delusional, although rarely shows any sign of alarm or distress. More often than not, Yoru is silent. To the point where others around her think she's a mute. Not many have heard her speak, and if she does, it's short sentences or chopped up words. Yoru will often mutter to herself when she's alone, or have inner monologues in her head. Other: Yoru loves her sister dearly, although is incompetent of showing any kind of feelings. Since most of her life has been spent in the dark and spent alone, Yoru has an ludicrous fear of the darkness and being without anyone. The irony being that she often wishes death upon other members of the soul society, including those within her division, or pushes those who try to get close to her away.

Ｏnce upon a time, there was nothing but darkness. From this darkness, surfaced a false world-- and from this falseness, two beings were born. One representing chaos, and the other, destruction. They were children blessed with extraordinary gifts, and a label that would eventually become a distorted reality for them. Shinigami.
That's all she could remember. As far as the eye could see, darkness besieged the land. The child would walk for what seemed like an eternity. For an infinite number of miles, the shrill abyss was never-ending. Hello? She would call-- think-- and shout. Clinging to a faint memory of a life once lived was all Yoru had. A memory of love and warmth that pushed Yoru to continue to follow the darkness.
ＰＡＲＴ ＩＩ:
ＴＨＩＳ ＳＩＬＥＮＣＥ ＩＳ ＭＩＮＥ
Unable to escape the false world she was born into, Yoru grew beside the shadows. She became apathetic, uncaring, and the innocent child's heart became nothing less of a black hole. And although Yoru never really accepted it, the darkness accepted her. Was she really alone? Yoru had sought out this memory of a long forgotten past for so long-- it began to drive her insane-- she began to question if this faint feeling of warmth and love was even real. And so, to shut out the heartache and the pain, Yoru began to push those memories further and further away. Two children playing together, protecting one another, and the gut feeling that there was light at the end of this tunnel soon went away.
Every day the young being would collapse from sore and bleeding feet. How many miles, yards, or football fields she walked that day or week or month-- all became a blur. Time seemed to sit still here. There was no day, nor night-- morning nor evening-- nor birds singing or crickets chirping. The shadows wrapped around her like a thick blanket, and it was so suffocating at times, all Yoru could do was cry.
