Quote:
Christ died on the cross for our sins, but sometime I wonder how the world would of been like if Christ would had been born in the stable with a sister. Considering what happened with Adam and Eve, Jesus would of most likely watched his sister since both of them would had been born perfect. But in the end both siblings would had died on the crosses.

Now fastforward to a future that never happened. Do you think the word of god would of had a faster influence on man and woman at a accelerated rate? If god would had decided making Jesus a twin, the second coming of Christ would of happened faster.

I know I know pay attention to the book and not what if? I imagine a teacher slapping my head with a paper.

The hypothetical demonstrates how little respect they have for God's actual plan and word of Prophecy. The whole point: God was going to manifest. And it was not going to be as a set of twins. Whatever God felt like conveying by manifesting as a son would not have been conveyed by coming into the world as a set of twins. It changes the whole message: having two saviors violates the fact that there is no savior, redeemer, deliverer but Him.

      • Isaiah 9:6 (NIV)

        6 For to us a child is born,
        to us a son is given,
        and the government will be on his shoulders.
        And he will be called
        Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
        Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

      • Isaiah 54:5 (NIV)

        5 For your Maker is your husband—
        the Lord Almighty is his name—
        the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer;
        he is called the God of all the earth.

      • Isaiah 44:6 (NIV)

        6 “This is what the Lord says—
        Israel’s King and Redeemer, the Lord Almighty:
        I am the first and I am the last;
        apart from me there is no God.

And no, Jesus' return would not have been accomplished "faster" with a twin sister (or brother). There is already a set time, set in place by the Father. And it is a set time that minimizes the amount of people going to hell, and maximizes the amount of people willing to repent. The waiting period depends on man's decision to accept Him or not. Not in how many saviors there are.

      • 2 Peter 3:9-10 (NIV)

        9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

        10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.[a]

        Footnotes:

        a. 2 Peter 3:10 Some manuscripts be burned up

      • Matthew 24:35-36 (NIV)

        35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. 36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,[a] but only the Father.

      • Isaiah 55:6 (NIV)

        6 Seek the Lord while he may be found;
        call on him while he is near.

He/she should worry about whether they actually know the real Jesus or not, because once that time comes, no fantasy or hypothetical scenario will save a person. When it comes to knowing Jesus, fantasy/fiction does not help a believer at all. Essential truths get distorted, if not entirely missed. And actually, that's what the hellbound waste their time on in the last days.

      • 2 Timothy 4:4 (NIV)

        They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

Do not be one of them.

Alright I understand. God's word is the only instruction book, and everything else is a ripoff to comfort violators desires. A divided house would never stand! I just got finish doing allot of work on that subject and can relate. Now different views? It can drive a bomb through a city and more, take Iraq as a house divided. .

This right here is a house unified
