Palei had awoken that morning ready and rearing to go, she had always been the chipper one. The opposite to her sister whom she shared the farm with. The old house set back in the dark forest like setting, this was their home sweet home and Palei wouldn't have it any other way. Dressed in a clean work shirt and dusty jeans, Palei thrust back her hair into a sloppy tail, the younger sister trotted down the stair to the kitchen for breakfast. It was true that the farm was home of race horses, there were the other animals to tend to. Eggs to collect and cows to milk. Not everything revolved around horses.
"Rhi. you awake yet?" Palei called out from the kitchen as she shoved her feet into cool rubber boots, ones that had seen better days without cow pies and chicken poo.
Today was going to be an interesting day. It wasn't too long ago that ones of their mares dropped her foal. A young filly of chocolate color, one that they had called Rhyne. While she was proud of the birth, knew that the filly would have to be broken eventually, might as well start now so that it wasn't so hard later. Palei knew that getting to the foal wouldn't be easily, wasn't easy the day she was born. Lucia had been the ever watch mare over Raya and wouldn't let many close to the birthing stall... An interesting day indeed.

Rhiannon is burrowed under few layers of blankets with pillows over her head so not a single ray of sunshine will touch her and she is fast asleep, lost into her dreams about riding horses across the pasture. The alarm clock starts going off early in morning and a light mocha-colored hand fumbles out the blanket cave, slapping around until it connects with snooze button, effectively silencing the darned thing before the hand disappears back under blankets. The piles starts to move as the female groans when her younger sister's voice floated into the room, she rubs her sleepy eyes while sitting up with a grumpy sleepy look. "Now I am!" Rhiannon calls back grumpily, sleep is still heavy in her voice while she drags herself out of the bed.
Running her fingers through her bedhead hair and quickly putting it in low ponytail, Rhiannon moves to get dressed in flannel button up shirt on top of tankini and jeans with some holes in it. "Coming, coming..." She mumbles as she rubs her eyes once again, walking downstairs after washing her face and brushing her teeth. "Why do you have to be so chipper..." She grumpily commented in a manner of greeting as she goes to get the table set with a jug of milk and juice along with bowls, plates and flatware.
Rhiannon pours herself a glass of orange juice as she plunks down in a chair, reaching over for her boots because she knows that they have a huge job ahead of them and that's to lead Lucia into another pen. Her golden eyes glances over at Palei as she places the glass on the table and proceeds in putting boots on, "How are we..." She grunts as she jerks one boot on. "going to separate Raya, Rhyne from Lucia?".
