∙ Oranda Goldfish ∙Example & Example ✽ Rarity: Common ✽ Spawn Size: Above Average ✽ Defining Characteristic: Wens ✽ Variations: Pompom
One of the oldest varieties of goldfish, orandas are often topped with a bubbly wen. Soft to the touch, these wens can grown to an impressive size and sometimes look more like brains than fancy bubble hats! Older fish in our ponds can sometimes achieve significant growth through active care and attention.
These fish are common in the Ponds of Gold network but still require the best care possible to make sure they live full and healthy lives. You will most likely find them in Backyard Ponds. In addition, when spawning this variety of fish, you can expect an above average egg clutch.

∙ Pearlscale Goldfish ∙Example ✽ Rarity: Uncommon ✽ Spawn Size: Average ✽ Defining Characteristic: Body Pearls ✽ Variations: Not Yet Found
Pearlscale goldfish often are referred to as little golfballs for their considerably round tummies and the little "pearls" that adorn their bodies. Topped with a bubble like wen, you can't help but smile when you see one of these little guys floating on by. Older fish in our ponds can achieve great crown-like wen growth.
These fish are uncommon in the Ponds of Gold network but are far from impossible to breed. You will most likely find them in Backyard Ponds because of their more delicate nature. When spawning this variety of fish, you can expect an average egg clutch.
